Congratulations on selecting your new MeasureLoupe 11.5x LED / UV Lighted Loupe! In order to achieve optimum performance, please follow instructions for proper use and care.

Installing Batteries

Follow these steps to install batteries:

1. Twist the cap at the end of the handle counterclockwise to take it off.

2. Take out the battery housing from the handle. Place 3 AAA batteries into the housing with the correct polarity markings. Insert the loaded battery housing (positive end first) and replace the cap.

Battery Warning

Use only alkaline batteries. Mixing old and new, different brands, or types within brands may cause batteries to leak, overheat, or explode. Keep away from fire or excessive heat. Inspect batteries for corrosion or leakage. Insert in the direction indicated. Rechargeable batteries are not recommended.

Turning On LED / UV

Use the slide switch to control the light:

• To the left: Turn on LED
• To the right: Turn on UV
• To the middle: Turn OFF

⚠️ CAUTION - FIRE HAZARD: Keep magnifier away from direct sunlight to prevent accidental fire.

Using Support Adapter Ring

Slide the support adapter ring onto the end of the handle with the point side down for hands-free viewing.

Attaching and Removing Reticle

1. To remove the reticle, turn it counterclockwise to unlock. Then lift the reticle up to remove it.

2. To reattach the reticle, line up its slits with the notches inside the base of the loupe. Press it into place and turn it clockwise to lock.

Using Loupe

Turn on the LED or UV Light. Then place the magnifier directly upon the viewing surface. For best results, place your eye close to the loupe.

Warnings

• Do not look directly into the LED or UV Light.
• Do not look at the sun or other bright lights with the lens, as eye damage may occur.

Care

• Clean using a microfiber lens cloth. Do not use any abrasives, chemical cleaners, or solvents.
• To prevent scratching the lens, return the loupe to its protective case when not in use.
