Product Features
The Finder 11.01 is a Zero Hysteresis Light Dependent Relay. It features identical switch ON and OFF levels, ensuring accurate and reliable switching performance without wasted energy.
Front View and Controls
The front of the relay provides controls and indicators:
- A Selector: Allows adjustment of the light sensitivity threshold:
- Low (L): (1...30)lx
- High (H): (20...1000)lx
- Light Constantly On [power-symbol]
- B LED: Indicates the relay status (e.g., ON/OFF).
- C Lux Level Setting: A rotary dial for fine-tuning the light activation threshold.
Wiring Diagram Description
The wiring diagram illustrates the connection points:
- Terminals A1 and A2 are for the AC power supply (Live and Neutral).
- Terminals 12, 11, and 14 are for the output relay contacts (normally open, common, normally closed).
- Terminals B1 and B2 are designated for connecting the external photosensor (Model 011.00).
The diagram shows the mains supply connected to A1/A2, the load (lamps) connected to the output terminals (e.g., 11 and 14), and the photosensor connected to B1/B2.
Operational Timing
The timing diagram illustrates the relay's response to ambient light changes:
- When ambient light falls below the set threshold, the relay activates after a 15-second ON delay (Ton), turning on the connected lights. The LED indicates this activated state.
- When ambient light rises above the set threshold, the relay deactivates after a 25-second OFF delay (Toff), turning off the lights. The LED indicates this deactivated state.
Important Installation Notes
Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance:
- The relay must be installed within protected electrical panels.
- The external photosensor (011.00) should be positioned to avoid interference from the light emitted by the controlled lamp(s).
- Avoid external light sources that could cause false triggering, such as car headlights or bright neon signs.
- The photocell must be installed vertically to ensure it is activated solely by natural sunlight.
An installation diagram shows a correct setup with a checkmark [checkmark-symbol] where the photosensor is mounted on an exterior wall, away from the direct light of an outdoor fixture. An incorrect setup with a cross [cross-symbol] is depicted where the photosensor is too close to the light fixture, which would cause it to malfunction.
Notes and Photosensor Details
Additional product details:
- Mounting: Designed for 35 mm rail mounting, compliant with EN 60715 standards.
