Motor Illustration

The motor illustration shows the main unit with ports labeled 'DC IN', 'SET', 'UP', and 'DOWN'. A separate diagram shows the power supply connection, labeled 'Type-C Power Supply'.

Installation

1. Ensure the blind engine is kept away from direct sunshine, high temperatures, and wet places.
2. Select the appropriate driving gear for your blind cords or chains. Options include 'Thin cord strings and small bead chains' and 'Large bead chains'.
3. Attach and tighten the cords or chains to the selected driving gear.
4. Choose a fixing method for the blind engine: either using the provided '3M adhesive' strip or 'Screw fixing'.
5. Remove the protective cover plate that allows the cord or chains to pass through. Then, reattach and secure the cover plate over the driving gear.
6. Installation is now complete.

Attention: The pull cord should be tightly clamped and not loosened.

Button Function

1. Power On And Off:
   • (1) Power On: Press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds. The buzzer will beep once ?, the motor will shake once, and the indicator light ? flashes once.
   • (2) Power Off: Press and hold the SET button for 7 seconds (while the indicator light is on in the middle). The buzzer will beep once ?, and the indicator light ? will flash 3 times.
2. Tilt/Lift Functions Convert: Press the SET button 5 times consecutively. The indicator light ? flashes 3 times.
3. Change Direction: Press and hold the UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The indicator light ? blinks 3 times.
4. Limit Set:
   • (1) Up-Limit: Long press the SET button for 3 seconds (indicator light ? is always on). Press the UP button once; the indicator light ? flashes slowly. Once the curtain reaches the desired upper limit, long press the SET button for 3 seconds (indicator light ? flashes 3 times) to set the upper limit.
   • (2) Down-Limit: Long press the SET button for 3 seconds (indicator light ? is always on). Press the DOWN button once; the indicator light ? flashes slowly. Once the curtain reaches the desired lower limit, long press the SET button for 3 seconds (indicator light ? flashes 3 times) to set the lower limit.

   Note: During setting, the motor automatically enters tilt mode ⚙️ for precise control. The mode exits automatically after 1 minute of inactivity.

5. Factory Reset: Long press the SET button for 3 seconds (indicator light ? on), release, then long press the SET button for 7 seconds. The indicator light ? flashes 5 times, indicating factory settings are restored.
6. Remote Control Pairing: Long press the SET button for 3 seconds (indicator light ? on). Then, press the remote control's UP button or P2 button. The indicator light ? turns off upon successful pairing.
7. APP Pairing Mode: Press the SET button 3 times continuously, then long press the SET button for 3 seconds. The indicator light ? blinks rapidly, indicating the device is in APP pairing mode. This mode times out after 30 seconds.

Indicator Light and Buzzer

• Blue Indicator ?: Shows control and setting status.
• Red Indicator ?: Indicates charging status when plugged into USB-5V/2A. It is on while charging and off when fully charged.
• Buzzer ?:
  • 1 short beep: Normal response.
  • 3 short beeps: Alarm (e.g., low battery).
  • 1 long beep: Shutdown.

Device Charging

WiFi Version

This version has no internal battery and requires a 5V/2A USB to Type-C power cord to be plugged in for operation.

Zigbee Version

1. Adapter Charging: Uses a 5V/2A USB to Type-C port and takes approximately 2-3 hours to charge. The red light ? indicates charging, and it turns off when fully charged.
2. Solar Charging: Can be charged using a dedicated solar panel. Charging begins when sufficient light is available, indicated by the red light ? being on.

Remote Controls

Remote Control Set Motor Mode

To enter setup mode, press the P2 button twice consecutively. The indicator light ? will remain on.

Functions

1. Change The Direction Of Rotation: Long press the UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds.
2. Tilt/Lift Functions Convert: Press the STOP button once.
3. Up-Limit Set: Long press the UP button for 2 seconds.
4. Down-Limit Set: Long press the DOWN button for 2 seconds.
5. Clear-Limit: Long press the STOP button for 2 seconds.
6. Speed Increase Gear: Long press the UP and STOP buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds.
7. Speed Reduction Gear: Long press the DOWN and STOP buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds.
8. Customizing The Best Spot: Press the 50% button once.

APP Control

General: Download the "Smart Life" or "Tuya" app from your app store (Google Play or Apple App Store). Register a new account or log in with an existing one.

Zigbee Version Connection Method

1. In the app, tap to add a gateway.
2. Connect to your gateway.
3. After the gateway is connected, proceed to add the device.

Wi-Fi Version Connection Method

1. In the app, tap to add a device.
2. Select the appropriate blinds motor device.
3. Follow on-screen prompts to connect the device to your Wi-Fi network.
4. Search for the device.

App Usage:

• Steps 5/6: After successful device addition, click "DONE".
• Step 7: This screen allows you to operate the motor (Open, Stop, Close). Click 'Settings' ⚙️ to access multiple function settings.
• Step 8: Click 'Limit Settings' to configure the upper and lower limits.
• Step 9: Control the blinds motor using the open, close, and stop buttons. You can also save custom upper and lower limits.
• Step 10: Click 'Advanced Settings' ⚙️ for further configurations.
• Step 11: This page allows setting functions such as Child Lock, Speed Level, setting the best position, and disabling remote control.
• Step 12: You can add schedules, set up recurring tasks, message notifications, and control switches.
• Step 13: Control back modes, with options for Forward and Reverse selection.
