Section A: Placement and Connection of the Charging Station

1. Placement: Position the charging station in a central location within the work area, ensuring ample open space in front and a relatively horizontal surface.

2. Power Connection: Connect the low-voltage cable from the power supply to the charging station and the power supply itself. Plug the power supply into a 100-240 V wall socket.

3. Initial Charging: Place the robotic lawn mower in the charging station to charge the battery while you lay the boundary wire. Set the main switch to position 1.

Section B: Placement of the Boundary Wire and Guide Wire

1. Boundary Wire Loop: Lay the boundary wire to form a loop around the entire working area.

2. Eyelet Creation: Create an eyelet at the point where the guide wire will be connected later.

3. Guide Wire Routing: Run the guide wire to the connection point on the boundary loop. Avoid sharp angles when laying the wire.

Section C: Connecting the Boundary Wire and Guide Wire

1. Purpose of Guide Wire: The guide wire helps the Automower navigate narrow passages and find the charging station more easily.

2. Guide Wire Placement: Lay the guide wire under the charging station and extend it at least 2 meters (7 ft) straight out from the front edge.

3. Connector Installation: Open the connectors and insert the wire ends into the designated recesses. Use pliers to press the connectors together securely.

4. Wire Trimming: Trim any excess boundary wire, leaving 1-2 cm (0.4-0.8 inches) above the connectors.

5. Connecting to Charging Station: Press the connectors onto the contact pins marked AL (left) and AR (right) on the charging station. Ensure correct polarity: right wire to right pin, left wire to left pin. Fasten the guide wire connector to the G1 pin.

Section D: Connecting the Guide Wire to the Boundary Wire

1. Cutting Boundary Wire: Cut the boundary wire in the center of the eyelet created in Section B.2.

2. Coupling Wires: Connect the guide wire to the boundary wire using the provided couplers. Press the couplers firmly together with pliers.

Starting and Stopping

Starting: Open the hatch by pressing the STOP button. Set the main switch to position 1. During the initial startup, you will set a PIN code. Press the START button and close the hatch.

Stopping: Press the STOP button.

Adjusting for Lawn Size

Optimize mowing results by adjusting the mowing time using the Schedule function. The Weather Timer function can also automatically adjust mowing time based on grass growth.

Maintenance

Set the main switch to position 0 before performing any maintenance, such as cleaning or replacing blades. Replace blades regularly for best results. Do not use high-pressure washers or solvents for cleaning; use a brush instead. Disconnect all charging station connections during thunderstorms. Fully charge the battery before winter storage.
