Top Panel Controls
Description of controls on the top panel:
- 1 (Standby): Turns the power on or off.
- DEMO: In power off status, press to show demo mode.
- USB Port: Play sound files by connecting a USB device.
- Display window: Shows information.
- PARTY ACCELERATOR lever: Slide to create a party atmosphere.
- F (Function): Selects the function and input source.
- TWIN: Connects two speakers for TWIN mode in WIRELESS PARTY LINK.
- MASTER VOL. (Volume) +/-: Adjusts speaker volume.
- K/D (Skip/Scan): Skips backward or forward; scans within a track/file/chapter; selects radio stations.
- ▷II (Play/Pause): Starts or pauses playback; selects stereo/mono.
- (Stop): Stops playback or cancels DELETE function.
- ▲ (Open/Close): Opens and closes the disc tray.
- DJ SCRATCHER / SEARCH & MULTI: Turns clockwise/counterclockwise for scratch sound; searches folders/files (USB only).
- SPECIAL EQ / BASS BLAST (or BASS BLAST+): Chooses special equalizer. Press and hold to select BASS (or BASS+) effect directly.
- SEARCH: Moves to folder or file in selection mode (USB only).
- OK: Selects a folder when searching a file.
- PARTY STARTER: In power off state, turns on the unit with Party Kick Starter sound. In power on state, mixes music with Party Kick Starter sound.
- DJ PAD (CLUB, DRUM, USER): Selects sound effects to mix. (USER requires registration via "LG XBOOM" app).
- DJ PAD (1, 2, 3): Press a desired sound pad.
- DJ EFFECT: Selects a desired DJ effect.
- USER EQ: Selects a custom-created equalizer.
- LIGHTING: Selects the lighting mode.
- DJ SCRATCHER / LEVEL CONTROL: Turns clockwise/counterclockwise for scratch sound; controls USER EQ level; adjusts DJ EFFECT level; selects vocal effects; selects lighting effects.
- PARTY ACCELERATOR MODE: Selects PARTY ACCELERATOR MODE.
- DJ LOOP: Selects DJ LOOP mode (usable during USB playback).
- KEY CHANGER (b/#): Changes the key to suit vocal range.
- VOICE CANCELLER: Reduces vocal tones during music playback from various input sources.
- VOCAL EFFECTS: Selects various vocal effects modes.
- MIC ECHO: Selects ECHO mode.
- MIC VOL. (Microphone Volume) +/-: Adjusts microphone volume.
Front and Rear Panel Connections
Front Panel:
- 1 (Remote sensor): Receives signals from the remote control.
- 2 MIC (Microphone) 1/2 jack: Connect microphones.
- 3 Disc tray: Holds CDs.
- 4 Lighting: Controls the unit's lighting effects.
Rear Panel:
- 5 SERVICE ONLY: S/W download connector.
- 6 HDMI OUT TO TV: Connect to TV via HDMI.
- 7 AUX IN 2 (L/R): Connect an auxiliary audio device.
- 8 AUX IN 1: Connect a portable audio device.
- 9 ANTENNA (FM): Connect an FM antenna.
- 10 AC IN socket: Connect the power cord.
TV Connection
HDMI Connection:
- Connect the Player to the TV using an HDMI cable.
- Set the input selector to HDMI on the TV.
- Follow the instructions on the TV screen using the remote control.

Home Menu
The Home menu appears on the TV screen when connected via HDMI, allowing access to various functions on the player. This menu typically appears when using DVD/CD functions.
Controller App & Wireless Sync
Controller App: Download the "LG XBOOM" App to your device (Android only) for enhanced control.

Caution
- Connect the power cord directly to a wall outlet if possible. If using an extension cable, it is highly recommended to use one rated for 110 V / 15 A or 230 V / 15 A to ensure proper operation.
- Do not overload the extension cord with excessive electrical load.
Note
- Do not look directly at the light emitting part when the LIGHTING is turned on.
- If the illumination brightness is glaring, switch on the room lights or turn off the unit's LIGHTING.
How to disconnect the wireless network connection or the wireless device
Turn off the unit by pressing the power button for more than 5 seconds.
