Tips for Using Remote Control
- The remote control must be used within 8 meters of the unit.
- The unit will beep when a remote signal is received.
- Curtains, other materials, and direct sunlight can interfere with the infrared signal receiver.
- Remove batteries if the remote will not be used for more than 2 months.
Cautions for Using Remote Control
This device complies with local national regulations. In Canada, it complies with CAN ICES-3(B)/NMB-3(B). In the USA, it complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules, subject to two conditions: (1) it may not cause harmful interference, and (2) it must accept any interference received. This equipment has been tested and found to comply with Class B digital device limits, providing reasonable protection against harmful interference in residential installations. If interference occurs, users are encouraged to try correcting it by reorienting/relocating the receiving antenna, increasing separation between equipment and receiver, connecting to a different circuit, or consulting a dealer/technician. Unauthorized modifications may void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
