Setting of Assorted PC Control Software
This section provides guidance on configuring PC control software for use with the DE-19 adapter and compatible radios.
4.1 JTDX Software Configuration
When connecting radios like G106, X5105, and G90, the new version of JTDX software can be installed directly.
For older versions of JTDX, select 'IC-7000' as the radio model and '19200' as the serial console baud rate.
4.2 OmniRig Software Configuration (for old-version JTDX)
The old-version JTDX relies on OmniRig software for proper connection. The following settings are recommended for OmniRig:
- Rig type: IC - 7000
- Baud rate: 19200
- Port: Select the virtualized port number on your computer.
- RTS: LOW
- DTR: LOW
- Other options should be left at their default settings.
4.3 HRID Software and Other Control Software
The port and baud rate settings for HRID software should be configured as described above.
Other control software of a similar type can be configured using the same settings.
