Quick Start Guide
TronTracker TA10 Tracker
Brand: JOTRON
1. Mounting the Bracket on a Flag Buoy
For optimal range, the bracket should be mounted as high as possible above the water, but still below the flags. According to current regulations, the allowed antenna height is limited to 1 meter above the waterline. The antenna height is measured from the top of the bracket to the waterline. Using an aluminum pole will significantly reduce the range.
Drill two 6 mm diameter holes before mounting the bracket on the buoy pole. The bracket can be used as a drilling template. The bracket requires a mounting height of 59 mm.
Diagram Description: A diagram illustrates mounting the bracket on a flag buoy. It shows the bracket positioned high above the water, below the flags. An arrow indicates that antenna height is measured from the bracket's top to the waterline. A warning is present about aluminum poles reducing range.
2. Placing the Tracker in the Bracket
Place the Tracker in the bracket and rotate to lock it. Use the locking pin for extra security.
Diagram Description: The TronTracker is shown being inserted into the bracket and rotated to secure it. A locking pin is depicted being inserted to enhance security.
