Device Buttons
The iGS800 features several buttons for operation:
- Button 1 (Power): Short press to turn on; long press to shut down or return to the previous page.
- Button 2 (Confirm): Press to confirm or enter the ride menu.
- Button 3 (Lap): Press to lap or enter the system menu.
- Button 4 (Ride): Press to start/pause recording.
- Button 5 (Up): Scrolls up or switches left.
- Button 6 (Down): Scrolls down or switches right.
Icon Descriptions

Charging
The iGS800 has a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Charge using an AC power adapter or a computer's USB port with the provided cable.
- Open the protective rubber cover on the device's USB interface.
- Connect the USB charging cable.
- Wait for the device to fully charge.
- After charging, unplug the cable and securely close the USB port cover to maintain water and dust resistance.
Notes:
- Use a DC5V adapter for charging; avoid fast charging adapters.
- A low battery icon will appear on the homepage when the battery is low.
- Do not pull the USB plug forcefully to protect the port.
Smartphone Pairing
Pairing with a smartphone via the iGPSPORT app enhances functionality and allows access to a wider range of features.
Initial Pairing
- Open the iGPSPORT app on your smartphone and sign in to your iGPSPORT account.
- Bring the device close to your smartphone. Navigate to the app's homepage or device page, tap "Add Device," select "iGS Series," and the phone will automatically search for "iGS800." Select it and tap "Connect" to begin pairing.
- A "Bluetooth Pairing Request" will appear; tap "Pair" to accept.
- Once successfully paired, the app will prompt you to configure the cycle computer. Tap "Done" to sync settings.
After successful pairing, the device and phone will connect automatically via Bluetooth. If pairing fails, restart your phone's Bluetooth and the app, then try again.
Removing Pairing
To pair with a different smartphone, first remove the current pairing:
- Navigate to System Menu > Phone Pairing to view paired devices.
- Select the device to remove and tap "Unpair." Confirm the action.
- The cycle computer will restart, and a Bluetooth pairing status icon will appear.
Notes:
- Pair using the iGPSPORT app instructions, not directly through the phone's Bluetooth settings.
- Ensure your smartphone is connected to a network and Bluetooth is enabled.
- Download the iGPSPORT app from the AppStore or GooglePlay.
- For Android users, ensure location services are enabled for the iGPSPORT app.
- Avoid frequent pairing/unpairing.
Firmware Update
Keep your device updated for optimal performance. The device automatically checks for updates when connected via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
- The device checks for updates automatically when connected to Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
- You can manually check for updates via the iGPSPORT APP: Device > Firmware Detection.
- Firmware updates may take up to 20 minutes depending on Bluetooth connection stability.
Installing the Cycle Computer Base
Secure the base to your handlebar using the included rubber rings.
- Attach the rubber pad to the back of the cycle computer base.
- Position the base on the handlebar at your preferred location.
- Secure the base using the two rubber rings, wrapping them around the handlebar and hooking them onto the base buckle.
- Align the buckle on the back of the cycle computer with the slot on the bottom of the base.
- Place the cycle computer onto the base and rotate it 90 degrees to lock.
Note: Use official iGPSPORT bases or brackets to prevent damage.
Starting Cycling
Preparation
For accurate track recording, ensure the device acquires satellite signals outdoors before riding. Place the device face up in an open area and wait for satellite signal acquisition.
If using optional sensors, activate them to pair automatically with the cycle computer. During the ride, the device will use connected sensors to record data like heart rate, cadence, and power.
Cycling Operations
Using the Touchscreen
- After acquiring satellite signals, select "Ride Mode" on the homepage and enter the riding data page.
- Swipe left or right to switch between riding data pages.
- Scroll down to access the status page.
- Long-press a cycling data page to enter page and field editing mode.
- Tap anywhere on the riding data page to activate the status bar, allowing sensor status checks and quick operations.
- Select ? to return to the homepage.
- Select ➡️ to access the ride menu.
- Select ▶️ to start recording.
- During recording, press ■ to pause.
- During recording, press ⏹️ to end the ride and save the data.
Using Buttons
- Once satellite signals are acquired, press ▶️ to enter the cycling data page.
- Select ➡️ to switch riding data pages.
- Press ■ to return to the homepage.
- During recording, press ■ to display the status page.
- Select ▶️ to start recording.
- During recording, press ⏸️ to pause.
- During recording, select ? to start a new lap.
- Press ●●●, select "Save" from the Ride Menu to end the ride and save the recording.
During Cycling
Data View: Swipe left/right to view different data pages. Page content varies based on ride mode and settings. You can customize data fields for each mode via the iGPSPORT app.
Ride Menu: Press ●●● to access the Ride Menu for quick access to navigation, training plans, page settings, and more.
Lap Function
Laps can be manually recorded by pressing ●●● or set to automatic based on distance, position, or time in the system menu (System Menu > Ride Mode > Auto Functions > Auto Lap Count).
After Cycling
Activity Summary: An activity summary appears immediately after ending a ride. More detailed data and charts are available in the iGPSPORT app or web portal.
Displaying Ride Data in App: If your smartphone is within Bluetooth range, the cycle computer syncs automatically with the iGPSPORT app. The app provides quick access to analysis, detailed data, and performance tracking. You can also share your activities with friends.
Ride Mode: The device offers 6 default ride modes, with the option to add custom ones. Each mode can have custom data pages and fields configured.
Navigation
Plan routes using the iGPSPORT app and send them to the device. You can also import GPX or TCX files or use previously recorded routes for navigation.
Access the navigation module from the homepage.
Navigation Options:
- From Activities: Select a past activity to start route navigation.
- Route Navigation: Send routes from the iGPSPORT app. Select a route to view its overview and elevation profile, then start navigation.
- Location Point Navigation: Select saved locations, preview them on the map, and navigate to them.
Navigation Settings:
- Route Re-planning: Enable automatic re-routing if you go off course.
- Turn Reminders: Enable/disable turn notifications.
- Elevation Display: Show/hide elevation data.
Map Settings: Customize map orientation, road names, auto-zoom, and DEM terrain.
Navigation Operation: Use touch gestures to zoom, pan, and mark locations on the map. Access the Ride Menu (●●●) for route stop, return to start, or navigate to saved points.
Training
Create and send training plans or sessions via the iGPSPORT app, or create interval training sessions directly on the device.
Workout Course Usage:
- Send workout courses from the iGPSPORT app.
- Select a course to view steps.
- Start training by selecting "Start Training" in Ride Mode.
- Press ▶️ to start the activity timer.
- Press ? on the training page to pause the current step and move to the next.
- Press ●●●, then "Stop Training" in the Ride Menu to end the workout.
- The workout stops when the activity is saved or discarded.
Training Plan Usage:
Send training plans from the iGPSPORT app. View daily plans and workout courses in the calendar. Start training from the Ride Mode.
Interval Training Usage:
Configure interval training duration, rest times, and repetitions. Use warm-up/cool-down features.
Smart Trainer Usage:
Pair with smart trainers. Adjust resistance, power, or gradient modes. The trainer can automatically adjust resistance based on elevation changes.
Press ▶️ to start or stop trainer workouts.
Training Analysis
The cycle computer analyzes ride data (heart rate, power, speed) to evaluate fitness metrics like training effect, load, endurance, and VO2max.
User Information:
Enter personal details (gender, age, weight, height) for accurate measurements. This data influences heart rate zone and calorie calculations.
Real-time Fitness:
View real-time fitness data by enabling the option in training settings. Add fitness data fields to pages for quick access.
Training Status:
View training status, load trends, and daily load. Requires a heart rate sensor and at least 7 days of riding (20+ mins/day) for accurate data.
Fitness Level:
View fitness level indicators like VO2max, FTP, and MAP. Requires a heart rate sensor and at least 20 minutes of high-intensity riding.
Recovery Status:
Check recovery status and estimated recovery time.
Segments
Segments allow you to challenge yourself on specific routes or sections, comparing your performance over time or against others. Send segments from the iGPSPORT app, preview them, and navigate to their start points.
Segment Settings: Enable/disable segment detection and sync challenge goals.
History & Records
History
Access records of past rides, including time, distance, calories, and sensor data. Device memory may overwrite older records.
All Activities
View, review summaries, and delete past activities. Detailed views include summaries, laps, graphs, elevation, segments, and training status.
Personal Records
Track your best achievements: longest distance, fastest average speed, highest elevation gain, longest duration, and highest power.
Status and Settings
Weather
Requires the iGPSPORT app and smartphone pairing. Enable location services for weather data synchronization.
Smart Notifications
Receive calls, messages, and app notifications from your phone. Note: This feature consumes more battery due to constant Bluetooth connection.
Status Page
Access via swipe down from the top of the screen. Displays GPS status, battery, sensor connections, sunrise/sunset times, and current altitude. Provides shortcuts for GPS settings, altitude calibration, brightness, sensor settings, weather, and smart notifications.
Settings
Access settings via the System Menu on the homepage.
Sensors
Pair with ANT+ and Bluetooth sensors (heart rate, cadence, speed, power, etc.). Ensure sensors are properly installed and check their device IDs for accurate pairing.
Sensor Pairing:
- Select "Add Sensor" to search for sensors by type or all.
- Activate sensors (spin crank for cadence/power, spin wheel for speed). A flashing red light indicates the sensor is active.
- Once found, select the sensor to connect.
- Pairing is successful when "Connection Successful" appears.
Note: Ensure sensors are powered on before pairing. Re-search sensors after battery replacement or firmware upgrades.
Sensor Settings:
Configure settings like tire size (for speed sensors) and crank length (for power meters). Power meter calibration is also available.
Removing Sensors:
Select a sensor and choose "Remove" to delete it.
Wi-Fi
Connect to Wi-Fi for data synchronization and file transfer. The device automatically syncs data when connected.
- Select Wi-Fi to view available networks.
- Enable Wi-Fi by selecting "Enable."
- Follow app instructions to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
Theme, Power Management, Language, Backlight, Sound, GPS Mode
Customize device appearance with themes (color, dark mode, widgets). Manage power with battery saver, auto-sleep, and auto power-off features. Select language, adjust backlight brightness and timeout, enable/disable button sounds and alerts, and choose GPS modes for different scenarios.
Time, Units, Device Reset
Set time and time zones. Customize units for distance, speed, elevation, and temperature. Reset the device to default settings (history is preserved unless "Delete All" is selected). Note: "Delete All" resets all data, including odometer and Bluetooth pairings.
Firmware Update
Firmware updates are supported via Wi-Fi OTA. Check for versions and enable automatic updates for seamless maintenance.
Device Restart
If issues arise, restart the device by long-pressing the power button. This does not delete settings or personal data.
iGPSPORT App
The iGPSPORT app manages your device, tracks activities, plans training, provides navigation, and facilitates communication with other riders.
User Profile:
Essential for accurate data. Set weight, height, birth date, gender, max heart rate, and resting heart rate. Max heart rate can be estimated based on age (220 - age).
Activity Data:
Access past and planned activities, set training targets, analyze detailed data, charts, and performance metrics in real-time.
Device Settings:
Configure device features like data pages, auto options, and alerts via the app.
Activity Sharing:
Share photos and training data on social media. Customize photos with training data or share ride snapshots.
Tire Size Settings
Accurate data requires correct tire size settings. Measure tire circumference or use the provided table.
