- Press the [ok-button]. A beep will sound, and the lock will be activated (if OFF) or deactivated (if ON).
[warning-icon] WARNING
Before activating the lock, ensure the oven door is properly closed. Otherwise, the door will not lock, and a beep will sound. If this happens, turn off the beep by pressing any button on the electronic programmer, close the door correctly, set the function knob to the [off-position] (o), and repeat the locking procedure.
When the door lock is activated, the door lock symbol [] will be permanently illuminated on the display.
Important: To unlock the door during a baking process, set the function selection knob to the [off-position] (o), then deactivate the door lock following the instructions above. After unlocking, turn the function knob back to the previous position to continue baking.
Teka Hydroclean® Function
This function easily removes grease and dirt stuck to the oven walls. For best results, avoid excessive accumulation of dirt and clean the oven regularly.
Programming Teka Hydroclean®
[warning-icon] IMPORTANT NOTE
Do not pour water into a hot oven, as this can damage the enamel. The cleaning function should only be activated when the oven is cold. Activating it when hot may have undesirable effects (e.g., enamel damage).
Important:
- The function can only be activated when the selection knobs are set to the [off-position] (o).
- After locking the door, you can start the baking process.
- To activate/deactivate the door lock, follow these steps:
- Touch the [touch-sensor] or [plus-button] until the door lock status symbol flashes on the display. The display will show "ON" (active) or "OFF" (inactive).
- Press the [ok-button]. A beep will sound, and the lock will be activated (if OFF) or deactivated (if ON).
- When the door is fully locked/unlocked, the door lock symbol [] will illuminate or disappear from the display.
[warning-icon] WARNING
Ensure the door is properly closed before locking. If not, the door will not lock, and a beep will sound. In this case, turn off the beep by pressing any button on the electronic programmer, close the door correctly, set the function knob to the [off-position] (o), and repeat the locking procedure.
If the door lock is activated, the door lock symbol [] will be permanently illuminated on the display.
Important: To unlock the door during a baking process, set the function selection knob to the [off-position] (o), then deactivate the door lock following the instructions above. After unlocking, turn the function knob back to the previous position to continue baking.
Teka Hydroclean® Process
To perform the cleaning:
- When the oven is cold, place a cloth on the bottom of the oven cavity.
- Carefully pour 200 ml of water into the oven cavity.
- Set the function selection knob to the [off-position] (o).
- A beep will sound, indicating the Teka Hydroclean® cleaning process has started. The [hydroclean-symbol] [] will flash slowly, and the remaining time will be displayed.
Information: For best cleaning results, add a teaspoon of mild dish soap to the water and pour it onto the cloth on the oven floor.
Important:
- The cleaning time cannot be changed. To interrupt the cycle before completion, set the function selection knob to the [off-position] (o).
- After the cleaning process is complete, the oven will switch off, a beep will sound, and the [hydroclean-symbol] [] will flash rapidly.
Important: Do not open the oven door until the Hydroclean® cleaning process is finished. The cooling phase is necessary for the function to work correctly.
- Touch any sensor to turn off the beep and the [hydroclean-symbol] [].
- Set the function selection knob to the [off-position] (o).
- Now, remove residual water and dirt using a damp cloth.
The Hydroclean® cleaning function should be activated at a low temperature. The oven's cooling time depends on the ambient temperature.
[warning-icon] WARNING
Before wiping the oven interior, ensure the walls have cooled sufficiently. If more thorough cleaning is needed after using Hydroclean®, use neutral detergents and soft sponges.
Automatic Pyrolytic Cleaning Function
This function is available in pyrolytic HLB P models. It allows for a pyrolytic cleaning cycle where accumulated grease is incinerated at high temperatures.
[warning-icon] WARNING
Before setting the pyrolytic cleaning cycle, carefully read the safety instructions at the beginning of the assembly and maintenance manual.
It is generally recommended to perform pyrolytic cleaning every 4-5 baking cycles. The program duration adjusts based on the oven's dirt level; a dirtier oven requires a longer program.
During pyrolytic cleaning, the interior oven light remains off.
Programming Pyrolytic Cleaning Function
Important: Before using the pyrolytic function, remove all accessories (baking trays, racks, side supports, telescopic runners) from the oven. Follow the assembly and maintenance instructions for this.
[warning-icon] WARNING
Clean up any spilled liquids and excessive dirt, as they may ignite and cause a fire hazard during pyrolytic cleaning.
[warning-icon] WARNING
Before starting pyrolytic cleaning, ensure the oven door is properly closed. If not, the door will not lock, and a beep will sound. In this case, turn off the beep by pressing any button on the electronic programmer, close the door correctly, set the function knob to the [off-position] (o), and repeat the pyrolytic cleaning program as per the instructions.
- Set the function selection knob to the [pyrolysis-symbol].
- After a few seconds, the [pyrolysis-symbol] [] will illuminate on the display, showing "P2" (pyrolysis program 2).
- Select the pyrolytic cleaning program (P1, P2, or P3) by pressing the [plus-button] or [touch-sensor].
- P1: Short program, 1 hour duration.
- P2: Standard program, 1.5 hours duration.
- P3: Long program, 2 hours duration.
- Press [ok-button]. The automatic door lock will engage immediately.
- Once the door is locked, the [pyrolysis-symbol] [] will illuminate, and the remaining time for the pyrolysis cycle will be displayed.
[warning-icon] WARNING
Ensure the door is properly closed. If not, the door will not lock, and a beep will sound. If this occurs, turn off the beep by pressing any button on the electronic programmer, close the door correctly, set the function knob to the [off-position] (o), and repeat the pyrolytic cleaning program as per the instructions.
Important: The pyrolytic cleaning program has started. During this time, the electronic programmer cannot be used, except for the child lock function. Do not open the oven door to avoid interrupting the cleaning process.
- When the pyrolytic cleaning program finishes, a beep will sound, the [pyrolysis-symbol] [] will flash, and the display will show "0:00".
- Press any button on the electronic programmer to turn off the beep.
- Set the function selection knob to the [off-position] (o).
- The heating phase is complete, but the oven is still very hot and cannot be used.
Pyrolytic Cooling and Post-Cleaning
The cooling process will begin. The [cooling-symbol] [] will remain illuminated until the oven has completely cooled down.
Important: Due to the high internal temperature, the cooling time depends on the ambient temperature.
- When the oven has cooled, the [cooling-symbol] [] will disappear.
- Open the oven door and remove the ash residue using a damp cloth. Use a nylon kitchen sponge for hard-to-reach areas.
- Once the oven cavity is clean, reinsert all accessories (baking trays, racks, side supports, telescopic runners).
- The oven is now ready for use.
Important: If you encounter any problems during the activation or duration of the pyrolytic cleaning program, consult the assembly and maintenance manual.
Cancelling the Pyrolytic Cleaning Function
Pyrolysis is an automatic function set via the electronic programmer. To cancel a pyrolytic cleaning program, reset the device as follows:
- Set the function selection knob to the [off-position] (o). The display will show "00:00".
- Depending on the internal temperature, one of two situations may occur:
- a) Unsafe internal temperature: The door will remain locked until a safe temperature is reached.
- b) Safe internal temperature: If the internal temperature is safe, the door will unlock immediately.
- After the door unlocks, the current time will reappear on the display.
