How to Connect the Cable
At the end that connects to the headphone, the lockable connecting cable is fitted with a 3-pin mini XLR cable connector.

Make sure that the cable socket snaps into the housing of the DT 1990 PRO MKII.

⚠️ Connect the stereo jack plug of the cable to a headphone output only! If you connect the DT 1990 PRO MKII to any other jack socket, it could be damaged.
Maintenance
For reasons of hygiene, you should occasionally clean the headband and ear pads with a soft cloth moistened with water. Make sure that no water enters the housing or transducers.
If necessary, you can carefully remove the headband and ear pads and clean them with mild soapy water.
⚠️ Never use any solvent cleaning agents! Furthermore, the pads must be completely dry before they are re-attached to the DT 1990 PRO MKII.
⚠️ Never use a vacuum cleaner for cleaning the DT 1990 PRO MKII, as this may cause irreparable damage.
As headband and ear pads are subject to natural wear and tear, it is necessary to replace them from time to time. You can easily do this yourself.
If other components need to be replaced, please contact your responsible beyerdynamic representative.

Carefully pull the ear pad off the mounting ring.
