Safety Warnings

Warnings

  • To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture.

Precautions

  • To prevent electric shock, match the wide blade of the plug to the wide slot, and insert fully.
  • This apparatus shall always be connected to an AC outlet with a protective grounding connection.
  • To disconnect the apparatus from the mains, the plug must be pulled out from the mains socket, therefore the mains plug shall be readily operable.
  • Do not expose this apparatus to dripping or splashing. Do not put objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the apparatus.
  • To turn this apparatus off completely, you must pull the power plug out of the wall socket. The power plug must be easily and readily accessible at all times.
  • Ensure your AC power supply complies with the power requirements listed on the product's identification sticker.
  • Install the product horizontally on a suitable base with adequate ventilation (7-10 cm space). Do not cover ventilation slots.
  • Do not place the unit on amplifiers or other equipment that may become hot.
  • The unit is designed for continuous use. Disconnect the AC plug from the wall outlet to turn off completely. Unplug if leaving unused for a long period.
  • During thunderstorms, disconnect the AC plug from the wall outlet to prevent damage from voltage peaks.
  • Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight or other heat sources to prevent overheating and malfunction.
  • Protect the product from moisture, excess heat, and strong magnetic or electric fields. Unplug if the unit malfunctions.
  • The product is for personal use only, not industrial use.
  • Allow approximately 2 hours for the unit to reach room temperature if transported from cold temperatures before use.
  • Batteries contain chemicals harmful to the environment. Do not dispose of batteries in household trash. Do not expose to heat, sunlight, or fire. Do not short circuit, disassemble, or overheat batteries.
  • CAUTION: Danger of explosion if the battery is replaced incorrectly. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.

Product Overview

Soundbar Top Panel

  • Volume Control
  • Display
  • 1 (Multi Function) Button: Turns on the Soundbar in standby mode. Changes input source.
  • 2 (Mic On/Off) Button: Turns the microphone on or off. When off, the LED indicator glows red.

Soundbar Bottom Panel

Ports include:

  • 1 DIGITAL AUDIO IN (OPTICAL): Connect to the digital (optical) output of an external device.
  • 2 SERVICE: Connect a USB storage device to upgrade the product’s software.
  • 3 HDMI 1 / HDMI 2: Inputs digital video and audio signals simultaneously. Connect to the HDMI output of an external device.
  • 4 HDMI TO TV (eARC/ARC): Connect to the HDMI jack on a TV.
  • 5 POWER: Connect the Soundbar’s AC power cable.

Connecting the Soundbar

Connect the power and units:

  • Connect the power cord to the Soundbar Main Unit, Subwoofer, and Surround Speakers.
  • The LINK LED indicator on the Subwoofer and Surround Speakers will blink blue during connection and glow solid blue when a connection is established.

Using the Surround Speaker Mode

Optimal surround sound may be delivered depending on the position of the surround speakers. Refer to the full manual for details.

Using a Wired Connection

Connecting using an HDMI Cable

Connect an external device (e.g., Blu-ray player, game console) to HDMI 1 or HDMI 2 on the Soundbar. Connect the Soundbar to the TV using the HDMI TO TV (eARC/ARC) port.

Connecting using an Optical Cable

Connect the optical output of an external device to the DIGITAL AUDIO IN (OPTICAL) port on the Soundbar. If TV sound is not outputting, select "D.IN" mode using the Soundbar's Multi Function button or the remote's Source button.

Note: Use a Premium High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet. Ensure covers are removed from optical cable terminals.

Using the Q-Symphony Function

When connected to a compatible Samsung TV, Q-Symphony allows sound to play simultaneously through the Soundbar and the TV for a richer, more immersive surround sound experience. A "TV+Soundbar" menu may appear on the TV.

Using the SpaceFit Sound

This function analyzes your listening space using the Soundbar’s microphone to provide optimal sound. Sound optimization proceeds automatically.

Using a Wireless Connection

Connecting via Bluetooth

To connect a new device, put the Soundbar into "BT PAIRING" mode by pressing the PAIR button on the remote or holding the (Mic On/Off) button on the Soundbar for more than 5 seconds while in "BT" mode.

Note: If prompted for a PIN code, enter <0000>.

Connecting via Wi-Fi (Wireless Network)

The SmartThings app is required to connect the Soundbar to a mobile device via Wi-Fi.

  1. Connect your mobile device to the same Wi-Fi network as your TV.
  2. Install and launch the SmartThings app on your mobile device.
  3. Follow the in-app instructions to connect the Soundbar to your Wi-Fi network.

Troubleshooting

Soundbar does not turn on.

Check if the power cord is correctly inserted into the outlet.

Subwoofer or surround sound speakers not connecting automatically

  1. Turn off the Soundbar main unit.
  2. Press and hold the ID SET button on the rear of the subwoofer and surround speakers for at least 5 seconds. (Indicators will show [fast blue blinking]).
  3. Press the Up button on the remote control for 5 seconds.
  4. Check if the LINK LED is solid blue, indicating a successful connection.

Soundbar works erratically.

  • Remove and reinsert the power cord.
  • Try again after initializing the product.
  • If there is no signal, the Soundbar may turn off automatically. Turn the power on.

Remote control does not work

  • Point the remote directly at the soundbar.
  • Replace the batteries with new ones.

Soundbar indicator turns solid red.

The microphone is turned off. Turn the microphone on.

Sound is not output from the soundbar.

  • Check if the Soundbar volume is too low or muted. Adjust the volume.
  • If an external device is connected, adjust its volume.
  • For TV sound output, select "Soundbar" in the TV's sound output settings. (Samsung TV: Home [home icon] → Menu → Settings [settings icon] → All Settings [settings icon] → Sound → Sound Output → Select Soundbar)
  • Remove and reconnect the cable from the Soundbar.

Sound is not output from the subwoofer or surround speakers.

Check if the LED on the rear of the Subwoofer and Surround Speakers is blue. Reconnect if the blue LED blinks or the red LED lights.

If the TV is not connected via HDMI TO TV (eARC/ARC)

  • Check if the HDMI cable is correctly connected to the ARC terminal.
  • Connection may not be possible due to the connected external device. Connect the Soundbar directly.
  • Ensure HDMI-CEC (Anynet+) is activated on the TV. (Samsung TV: Home [home icon] → Menu → Settings [settings icon] → All Settings [settings icon] → Connection → External Device Manager → Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) ON)

Soundbar will not connect via Bluetooth.

  • When connecting a new device, switch to "BT PAIRING" mode.
  • Remove the Soundbar from the Bluetooth speaker list on your device and reconnect. (Samsung TV: Home [home icon] → Menu → Settings [settings icon] → All Settings [settings icon] → Sound → Sound Output → Bluetooth Speaker List)

Sound drops out when connected via Bluetooth.

  • Other devices (microwaves, wireless routers) may cause radio interference.
  • Ensure your Bluetooth device is within range of the soundbar.
  • Avoid body contact with the Bluetooth transceiver or placing the product on metal furniture, as this can affect the signal.

Soundbar will not connect to Wi-Fi.

  • Ensure the wireless router is on and try reconnecting after rebooting it.
  • If the Wi-Fi signal is too weak, move the router closer to the soundbar or remove obstacles.

The soundbar does not turn on automatically with the TV.

When you turn off the Soundbar while watching TV, power synchronization with the TV is disabled. Turn off the TV first.

Wi-Fi Port Deactivation Method

Press the CH LEVEL button on the remote control for 30 seconds to turn Wi-Fi On/Off.

Bluetooth Port Deactivation Method

Press the TONE CONTROL button on the remote control for 30 seconds to turn Bluetooth On/Off.
