Placement Guidelines

For optimal sound performance, position the soundbar:

• Centered below your TV.
• At a height of 0-0.6 meters (0-2 feet) from the floor.
• At a distance of 0.5-3 meters (1.6-9.8 feet) from the listening position.
• Ensure a minimum distance of 5 cm (2 inches) from the TV screen and 4 meters (13 feet) from nearby persons for RF compliance.

Wall Mounting:

Refer to the diagrams for wall mounting instructions, which involve specific screw sizes (e.g., 4mm/0.16") and require adequate clearance (e.g., 8mm/0.31" and 30mm/1.18").

Connections

TV (HDMI ARC) Connection:

Connect the soundbar's HDMI OUT (TV eARC/ARC) port to the TV's HDMI ARC input using an HDMI cable. Ensure the TV is powered on and set to the correct input.

TV (HDMI eARC) Connection:

Connect the soundbar's HDMI OUT (TV eARC/ARC) port to the TV's HDMI eARC input using an HDMI cable. This connection supports higher bandwidth audio formats.

Powering On and Remote Setup

Powering On:

1. Connect the power cord to the soundbar and then to a power outlet.
2. The soundbar display will show "LOAD" and then "HELLO", indicating it is ready.

Remote Control Setup:

Insert two AAA batteries into the remote control, observing correct polarity.

Sound Calibration

Calibrate the soundbar to optimize your 3D surround sound experience for your unique listening environment.

Calibration Steps:

1. Press the [CALIBR button] on the remote control. The display will show "CALIBRATION".
2. Press the [CALIBR button] again to confirm. The display will show "CALIBRATING" and then "DONE" when complete.

Wi-Fi Setup with JBL One App

[Wi-Fi icon] Connect the soundbar to your home Wi-Fi network using the JBL One app on an Android™ or iOS device.

Steps:

1. Download and install the JBL One app from your device's app store.
2. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add the soundbar to your Wi-Fi network and complete the setup.

Note: Some features may require subscriptions or services not available in all countries.

Power Management

This equipment complies with European Commission Regulation (EC) No 1275/2008 and (EU) No 801/2013 regarding power consumption.

• Off: N/A
• Standby (when all wireless connections are deactivated): < 0.5 W
• Networked standby for Soundbar: < 2.0 W

The power management function automatically switches the equipment to standby mode after 10 minutes of inactivity when wireless connections are active.

Activating/Deactivating Wireless Connections:

To activate or deactivate wireless connections, press and hold the [power button ⏻] on the remote control for more than 5 seconds.

Regulatory Information

FCC RF Radiation Exposure Statement: To maintain compliance with FCC's RF exposure guidelines, place the product at least 20cm from nearby persons.

Use Restriction: This device is restricted to indoor use when operating in the 5150 to 5350 MHz frequency range in specific countries (listed in the original document).
