Important Safety Information

Age Restriction: This ATV is intended for operators 10 years of age and older. It is not a toy. Parents must ensure children understand and follow all instructions and warnings. Children's abilities vary, and supervision is essential at all times. Parents should permit continued use only if the child demonstrates safe operation capabilities.

Safety Features: The AT125EX includes safety features like an adjustable speed limiter. Beginners are advised to start with the slowest setting. Parents can adjust the speed limiter as the rider's skills improve.

Training: New owners and their immediate family are eligible for a free hands-on training course. Contact Tao Motor ATV models at (855) 717-8618 for details.

Off-Road Use Only: This ATV is designed and manufactured for off-road use exclusively. Operating it on public streets, roads, or highways is illegal and unsafe. Always check local riding laws and regulations.

Protective Gear: Always wear an approved ATV/motorcycle helmet, eye protection, gloves, boots, a long-sleeved shirt or jacket, and long pants. Never operate the ATV under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Safe Operation: Keep both hands on the handlebars and both feet on the footrests at all times. Practice turning at low speeds. Avoid steep hills and paved surfaces. Never attempt stunts or jumps.

Maintenance: Follow the proper maintenance schedule and procedures outlined in this manual to ensure safe operation.

Key Safety Components

  • Engine Stop Lanyard Cord & Remote: The ATV is equipped with two emergency engine shut-off systems: a lanyard cord and a wireless key fob. The lanyard cord is the primary system. The wireless key fob has a limited range and should not be solely relied upon, especially during training.
  • Carbon Monoxide Warning: Engine exhaust contains carbon monoxide, a deadly gas. Never run the engine indoors or in poorly ventilated areas. If experiencing symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning, leave the area immediately and seek medical attention.

Transporting Your ATV

When transporting the ATV, ensure it is kept upright and the fuel valve is in the off position to prevent fuel leaks. Drain gasoline from the fuel tank and carburetor before long-term storage or transporting.
