Installation Notice
To ensure the system's best performance and normal function, please pay attention to the following:
- Do not install the camera near a heat source.
- Ensure there are no reflecting objects within 5 feet (1.5 meters) in front of the PIR sensor, as this may interfere with its operation.
- Avoid installing the camera on busy roadsides with frequent pedestrians and vehicles, as this can trigger frequent alarms and rapidly consume battery power.
- Do not install the camera too far from the router; a good Wi-Fi signal strength is necessary for proper operation.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
- Q: If the phone receives alarm messages too frequently, the camera will consume battery power greatly.A: It is recommended to lower the motion detection sensitivity, set the alarm interval, and start the alarm plan.
- Q: If you find that there are no moving objects in the alarm picture that the phone frequently receives, it may be due to a sensitive heat source in the motion detection range.A: It is recommended to lower the motion detection sensitivity.
- Q: If you detect someone passing by the camera but cannot receive the alarm message.A: It is recommended to increase the motion detection sensitivity.
- Q: If the alarm picture or video is delayed, or you can only see the back of people.A: It is recommended to increase the motion detection sensitivity.
- Q: The PIR sensor can be disturbed by ambient temperature.A: It is recommended to increase the motion detection sensitivity in a hot environment and decrease it in a cold environment. Extremely low temperatures or heavy clothing can hinder PIR sensor detection.
- Q: Ultraviolet rays of the sun can interfere with the PIR sensor.A: When the PIR sensor is directly facing strong sunlight, the alarm may not be sensitive.
Troubleshooting
The device prompts offline?
- Check if the equipment is powered on and observe if the working light is normal.
- Check if the Wi-Fi network is in good condition and restart the router.
- If the device is far from the router, consider moving the router closer or adding a Wi-Fi amplifier to improve signal strength.
- Delete the camera from your CloudEye account and re-add it after resetting the device.
- Check if the device firmware and application program are the latest versions.
Update router or WIFI password?
Delete the camera from your CloudEye account. After resetting the device, use the new Wi-Fi name or password to add it again.
Alarm push frequently?
- In the app, lower the sensitivity of the motion detection alarm.
- Check for objects that might interfere with and trigger the PIR sensor (e.g., air conditioner units, passing cars, pedestrians). Adjust the device's angle to avoid these objects.
The phone cannot receive the alarm push?
- In the mobile phone system settings, enable push permissions for the "CloudEye" application.
- Ensure the device's motion detection function is successfully turned on.
- Restart your phone. For Android phones, try clearing the app's cache.
- Check if the network connection is good.
