Select Charging Mode
You can choose between different charging modes for various batteries and ambient temperatures. Unlike standard chargers, this appliance has a special function to reuse empty batteries. It can recharge completely discharged batteries. Protection against incorrect connection and short-circuiting ensures safe charging. Due to the installed electronics, the charger only starts operation after a charging mode has been selected, preventing sparks that often occur during connection. The charger is controlled by an internal MCU (micro-computer unit).
Reset/Deleting Settings
After connecting to the power supply, the appliance automatically returns to its initial state and remains in Standby mode.
Switching Between Modes 1, 2, 3, and 4
Press the "MODE" selection button 9 repeatedly. The appliance cycles through modes in the following order: Standby (?), Mode 1 (6V), Mode 2 ( ), Mode 3 ( ), Mode 4 ( ), and then restarts the cycle.
NOTE: If you press the "MODE" button 9, the charging mode automatically switches to the next mode and begins operation. If a 12V battery is connected, Mode 1 (6V) is not selectable. If a 6V battery is connected, Modes 2, 3, and 4 are not selectable. If a fully charged battery is not disconnected, the appliance remains in trickle-charge mode, protecting the battery.
Mode 1 "6 V" (7.3 V/0.8 A)

Automatic Battery Recognition
As soon as the charger is connected to the mains, the LED display lights up. The charger recognizes the battery based on the following criteria:
- If the battery voltage is less than 3.8V or greater than 15V, the battery is unsuitable or defective. The "6V", "Mode 2", "Mode 3", and "Mode 4" LEDs ( 1, 2, 3, 4) flash. The charger remains in "Standby mode" and cannot be switched to another mode using the "MODE" button 9.
Pulse Charging Mode
This mode is suitable for charging/regenerating empty, used, and overcharged 12V lead-acid batteries. When connected to a battery, the charger automatically recognizes the battery voltage and switches to pulse charging mode if the voltage is between 7.5V ± 0.5V and 10.5V ± 0.5V. This process continues until the battery voltage reaches 10.5V ± 0.5V. The charger then switches back to the previously selected normal charging mode. This procedure allows quick and safe charging and can regenerate most batteries.
NOTE: During pulse charging, the "Charging" LED 7 flashes.
Trickle Charging
The charger has an automatic trickle charging function. Depending on the battery voltage, it supplies different charging currents. The battery can remain connected for extended periods.
Protective Function of the Appliance
In case of abnormal situations like short circuits, critical voltage drops, open circuits, or reversed polarity of output terminals, the charger deactivates its electronics and returns to its initial state to prevent damage. If no other setting is made, the system remains in Standby mode. Incorrect terminal connection (reverse polarity) will light up the "Error" LED 5. If the appliance overheats during charging, the output power is automatically reduced to protect it.
