Assembly requires two persons. Set the treadmill in a cleared area and remove all packing materials. Do not dispose of packing materials until assembly is completed.
Note: The underside of the treadmill walking belt is coated with high-performance lubricant. During shipping, lubricant may be transferred to the top of the walking belt or the shipping carton. This is normal and does not affect performance. If lubricant is present, wipe it off with a soft cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
Assembly requires the included hex key [hex-key-icon] and your own Phillips screwdriver.
Refer to the provided diagrams for hardware identification and quantities.
Assembly Steps:
- With a second person, tip the treadmill onto its side. Partially fold the frame for stability. Identify the Right Upright and hold it near the Base. Route the Upright Wire securely through the Right Upright using a wire tie [wire-tie-icon]. Ensure the wire does not fall inside the upright.
- Attach the Right Upright to the Base with specified bolts and washers. Do not tighten fully yet.
- Attach Base Pads to the Base using Tek Screws. Insert an Extension Leg into the Base, secure with nuts, and then insert bolts into the top of the Extension Leg, tightening them into the nuts.
- With a second person, tip the treadmill onto its other side. Partially fold the frame. Attach the Left Upright to the Base with specified bolts and washers. Do not tighten fully yet.
- Attach Base Pads to the Base using Tek Screws. Insert the other Extension Leg into the Base, secure with nuts, and then insert bolts into the top of the Extension Leg, tightening them into the nuts.
- With a second person, raise the Right and Left Uprights to a vertical position. Have the second person hold the console assembly near the Right Upright. Connect the Upright Wire to the Console Wire. Ensure connectors slide easily and snap into place; improper connection may damage the console. Remove the wire tie.
- Insert the Upright Wire and Console Wire into the Right Upright. Set the console assembly on the Uprights, being careful not to pinch wires. While a second person holds the console assembly, attach it with bolts and washers. Plug in the power cord and turn on the power. The treadmill may automatically adjust incline. Adjust incline to the lowest level.
- Attach the Left Upper Body Arm to the Left Upright using specified bolts and washers. Ensure the arm is on the indicated side of the Left Handrail. Attach the Right Upper Body Arm similarly.

Operation and Adjustment
The Pre-Lubricated Walking Belt
Your treadmill features a walking belt coated with high-performance lubricant. IMPORTANT: Never apply silicone spray or other substances to the walking belt or platform, as this will deteriorate the belt and cause excessive wear.
How to Plug in the Power Cord
DANGER: Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in an increased risk of electric shock. Check with a qualified electrician or serviceman if you are in doubt about grounding.
This product is for use on a nominal 120-volt circuit and has a grounding plug. Use a surge suppressor with the treadmill. Plug the power cord into a surge suppressor, and plug the surge suppressor into an appropriate, properly installed and grounded outlet. The treadmill is not compatible with GFCI-equipped outlets.
A temporary adapter may be used to connect to a 2-pole receptacle if a properly grounded outlet is not available, but it should only be used until a properly grounded outlet can be installed by a qualified electrician. The adapter's grounding feature must be connected to a permanent ground.
Use only a single-outlet surge suppressor that is UL 1449 listed (TVSS), with a suppressed voltage rating of 400 volts or less and a minimum surge dissipation of 450 joules. It must be rated for 120 volts AC and 15 amps, and have a monitoring light.
Failure to use a properly functioning surge suppressor could damage the control system, leading to unexpected belt speed changes and potential injury.
Console Diagram and Features

Exercise Guidelines
WARNING: Before beginning any exercise program, consult your physician. This is especially important for persons over the age of 35 or persons with pre-existing health problems.
The pulse sensor is not a medical device. Various factors may affect heart rate readings. It is intended only as an exercise aid for determining heart rate trends.
Exercise Intensity
Exercising at the proper intensity is key to achieving results, whether your goal is to burn fat or strengthen your cardiovascular system. Use your heart rate as a guide.
Heart Rate Chart: Find your age at the bottom of the chart (ages rounded to nearest ten years). The three numbers above your age indicate your "training zone": lowest for fat burning, middle for maximum fat burning, and highest for aerobic exercise.
- Burning Fat: Exercise at a low intensity for a sustained period. Your body uses carbohydrate calories first, then stored fat calories. For fat burning, aim for a heart rate near the lowest number in your training zone. For maximum fat burning, aim for the middle number.
- Aerobic Exercise: To strengthen your cardiovascular system, perform aerobic exercise (activity requiring large amounts of oxygen for prolonged periods). Aim for a heart rate near the highest number in your training zone.
Workout Guidelines
- Warming up: Start with 5-10 minutes of stretching and light exercise to increase body temperature, heart rate, and circulation.
- Training Zone Exercise: Exercise for 20-30 minutes with your heart rate in your training zone. (For the first few weeks, limit training zone exercise to 20 minutes.) Breathe regularly and deeply; never hold your breath.
- Cooling down: Finish with 5-10 minutes of stretching to increase muscle flexibility and prevent post-exercise problems.
Exercise Frequency
To maintain or improve condition, complete three workouts per week with at least one rest day between workouts. After a few months, you may increase to five workouts per week. Consistency is key to making exercise a regular and enjoyable part of your life.
Suggested Stretches
The correct form for several basic stretches is shown in the original diagrams. Move slowly when stretching; never bounce.
- Toe Touch Stretch: Stand with knees bent slightly, bend forward from hips, reaching toward toes. Hold for 15 counts, relax, repeat 3 times. Stretches: Hamstrings, back of knees, back.
- Hamstring Stretch: Sit with one leg extended. Bring the sole of the opposite foot toward your inner thigh. Reach toward toes. Hold for 15 counts, relax, repeat 3 times for each leg. Stretches: Hamstrings, lower back, groin.
- Calf/Achilles Stretch: Stand with one leg in front of the other, hands against a wall. Keep back leg straight, back foot flat. Bend front leg, lean forward, hips toward wall. Hold for 15 counts, relax, repeat 3 times for each leg. To stretch Achilles tendons further, bend the back leg. Stretches: Calves, Achilles tendons, ankles.
- Quadriceps Stretch: Stand with one hand against a wall for balance. Reach back and grasp one foot with your other hand. Bring heel close to buttocks. Hold for 15 counts, relax, repeat 3 times for each leg. Stretches: Quadriceps, hip muscles.
- Inner Thigh Stretch: Sit with soles of feet together, knees outward. Pull feet toward groin. Hold for 15 counts, relax, repeat 3 times. Stretches: Quadriceps, hip muscles.
