The Controller Instructions

Power switch on top of the controller

The controller features an ON/OFF button and a touch screen.

ON/OFF Button: Press this button to start the massage chair. Touch any massage function icon to begin a massage. Press the button again to turn off the massage chair, returning it to its original position.

Touch screen: Offers 7 function options for users. The 'Setting' option is located in the top left corner, and the 'Pause' option is in the top right corner.

Operation Guide

Auto Programs

Touch the [Auto] icon to enter the Auto programs menu. There are 16 auto massage programs available: Master's Choice, Signature, Sleeping, Stretching, Spine, Deep tissue, Core, The Golfer, Pilates, Mobile mode, Relax, Chinese, Sports, Morning, Evening. Select one to start the massage.

Note: Massage can be controlled by 4D Mechanism, Strength, Intensity, and Speed.

Health Pro (Muscle Tension Detection)

Select [Health Pro] to start muscle tension detection.

  1. Lean back and hold the body against the sensors to ensure all testing points are covered. Press the button to start detection.
  2. Firmly press your palm against the electro plate until the Health Pro diagnostics screen appears.
  3. The system provides two extents of your health pro: fatigue level and muscle tension level, categorized as light, medium, or heavy. The chair will automatically generate massage programs based on this scan.

Note: For accurate scanning, maintain good contact with the electro plates. Failure to do so may cause the scan to stop or fail.

Neck Massage

Touch the Neck icon to navigate to the [Neck] page. There are 3 modes: Slight, Focus, and Shoulder Concentrated. Select [Slight] or [Focus] directly to start a neck massage. For [Shoulder Concentrated], options for 'Left' and 'Right' are available.

Lower Back Massage

Touch the Lower Back icon to access the [Lower Back] page. There are 4 auto massage programs: Comfort, Recovery, Deep tissue 1, and Deep tissue 2. Select any one to start the massage.

Manual Massage

Touch the Manual icon to navigate to the [Manual] page. There are 4 massage programs for different parts of the back area: Neck/Shoulder, Upper back, Lower back, and Full back. Users can select their preferred program. Tapping/Shiatsu offers two kinds of massage techniques.

Advanced Settings

NOTE:

  • 4D Mechanism: Features 4 adjustable intensity levels. In massage mode, intensity defaults.
  • Intensity/Strength/Speed: Offers 5 adjustable levels.
  • Upward/Downward icon: Pressing the [Spot] button stops roller movement. Use up/down icons to change spot location.
  • Width: Adjustable for tapping, shiatsu, and rolling via left/right arrow icons.
  • Spot: Allows selection of a specific spot on the back area. Touch icon to activate/stop.
  • Partial: Allows selection of a region (1/4 of the back). Touch icon to activate/stop.

Advanced Programs

When pressing [Advanced], the screen displays 4 programs for selection. Users can choose and start their preferred program.

NOTE:

  • Foot heat: Touch icon to turn foot heat on/off.
  • Back heat: Touch icon to turn back heat on/off.
  • Calf massage: Touch icon to turn calf massage on/off.
  • Foot roller: Touch icon to turn foot roller on/off.

Air Massage

Touch the [Air Massage] icon to access the corresponding page. There are 3 programs to select from, with 5 levels of air intensity available.

Position Adjustment

Users can adjust backrest and footrest reclination by touching the respective icons. Press the icon again to stop adjustment. The legrest button extends or retracts the legrest. Touch the [Zero Gravity] icon to adjust the chair's zero-gravity position; press again to return to the original position. Touch the [LED] icon to control under-hood lighting. Touch the [Negative Oxygen ion] icon to activate/deactivate negative oxygen ions.

NOTE: The [Zero Gravity] icon is not controllable with angle adjustment. When the chair returns to its original position, auto massage programs (except Master Choice, Stretching, Golfer, Pilates, Morning) can still be used.

Settings

Touch the ⚙️ icon in the top left corner to access the [Setting] menu. Users can select Sleep Mode, Touch volume, Screen sleep, and Screen brightness.

Bluetooth

Touch the ? icon to control Bluetooth. When pressed, the icon lights up, indicating Bluetooth is active and ready for phone connection. Touch again to turn it off.

Connect Osaki OP 4D Master to Alexa Guide

Download App

Download the "Osaki Platinum 4D Master" app from the app store or Google Play store.

Open App

Open the "Osaki Platinum 4D Master" app on your device.

Setting Page

Located in the upper left-hand corner, tap the Setting icon to go to the Setting Page.

Osaki Account

Login to your Osaki account by clicking the "sign in/sign up" button. If you don't have an account, click "Sign Up", then input your email and password. An Osaki account is required to connect your Master chair to Alexa.

Smart Speaker Page

On the setting page, click on "Smart Speaker" to access the Smart Speaker page.

Connect to Alexa

From the Smart speaker page, complete the three steps listed in the Instructions tab.

First Step to Connect to Alexa

Connect the Master to Bluetooth by pressing "Connect to bluetooth". Then, select OP-4D Master from the device list and press OK.

Second Step to Connect to Alexa

Connect the chair to WiFi by clicking "Connect the chair to WiFi". In the Connect to WiFi menu, enter your WiFi network name and password, then select the check mark ✔️ to complete this step.

Third Step to Connect to Alexa

Connect the chair to the smart speaker, Alexa, by pressing "Connect the chair to smart speaker". You will be directed to steps to connect your Master chair to Alexa.

The menu outlines the connection steps:

  1. First, power on the smart speakers.
  2. Second, download and install the Alexa app.
  3. Third, connect the smart speakers to the same WiFi as your Master chair.
  4. Fourth, your smart speakers are ready. Go to the Voice Command List to try commands.

"Start Osaki Massage" Command

NOTE:

  • Start Massage with Alexa: To use Alexa, say "Alexa, Start Osaki Massage". A notification will prompt you to launch the Osaki titan voice control on the Osaki Platinum 4D Master app.
  • "Start Osaki Massage” Voice Command: This command activates Osaki titan voice control before other commands.

After Massage

  1. Turn off the power switch on the controller.
  2. Pull the power switch to the 'O' (off) position.
  3. Pull out the power plug.

Warning: After use, it is recommended to turn the power switch OFF and pull out the power plug to prevent accidents or injuries, especially by children.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Cleaning of the synthetic leather

Wipe the synthetic leather with a soft dry cloth. Avoid cleaning products containing thinners, gasoline, or alcohol. Ensure any leather cleaner is safe for synthetic leather by reading the label.

For very dirty synthetic leather:

  1. Wet a soft cloth with water or a 3-5% neutral detergent solution and wring it out thoroughly until no water drips.
  2. Wipe the synthetic leather surface with the damp cloth.
  3. Rinse the cloth multiple times during cleaning.
  4. Allow the synthetic leather to dry naturally; do not use a dryer.

For stubborn stains, soak a melamine foam piece in a neutral detergent and wipe several times. Do not use a hair dryer. Using inappropriate detergents may cause fading or discoloration.

Do not clean hard plastic parts with alcohol, thinners, or benzine-based agents, as this can cause discoloration.

Cleaning of the plastic parts

  1. Put a soft cloth into water mixed with a neutral detergent, wring it out, and wipe the plastic parts. Avoid chemicals like thinners, gasoline, or alcohol.
  2. Wipe with a microcloth or soft cloth wrung out in clean water, ensuring it is damp but not dripping.
  3. Allow the plastic parts to dry naturally.

Questions and Answers (Q&A)

Can someone with a medical condition or disease use this product?

Individuals with medical conditions must consult their physicians before use. Massage can potentially aggravate muscle injuries, bone disease, spinal abnormalities, skin disease, or affect individuals with implanted medical devices.

Is there a restriction body height and weight to use this chair?

The recommended height range is 4'9" to 6'4". The maximum weight capacity is 260 lbs. Users outside this range may not fit comfortably or could experience injury. Adhering to the weight limit prevents damage to the chair and potential user injury.

For a taller person with knee bending: Tilt the backrest and lower the Lower Leg/Foot massager to the down position to elongate the length.

For a short person difficult to touch the foot massage section: Raise the backrest and raise the legrest to shorten the distance.

Where is serial number of the product?

The serial number is located on the backrest, near the power cord.

When I use the chair it makes noise.

Noise is a normal function of the chair, which is equipped with an air pump and multiple motors.

How long should I use the massage chair each day?

For individuals in good medical condition, use for 20 minutes per day. For the first week, limit use to 20 minutes. If discomfort occurs, stop use and consult a doctor. Mild soreness may occur initially; monitor pain levels and consult a doctor if it persists.

Note: Be sure to drink plenty of water after each massage.

Troubleshooting

If an issue occurs, inspect and troubleshoot according to the methods below. If the problem persists, contact the manufacturer.

The roller heads are still warm after turning off the heat. Or the product is damaged.Residual heat takes time to dissipate. Mild warmth may be from friction. If heads are abnormally warm, contact service.
The power line or the power plug is abnormally warm to hot.To avoid accidents, contact an authorized service center.

Expected sounds and feelings:

  • Gears moving and clicking when extending/retracting.
  • Mild rubbing sound when massage heads are activated.
  • Mild clicking sound during tapping.
  • Friction sounds as rollers activate.
  • Motor sounds from roller movement.
  • Spinning belt sounds.
  • Motor sounds from pump operation.
  • Mild squeaking during squeezing or from joints.
  • Air valve sounds when airbags activate.
  • Mild squeak and motor sound when legrest moves.

If the sound is loud, the product may have failed. Have it inspected and repaired by an authorized service center.

Warnings:

  • Do not refit, disassemble, or repair without permission to avoid fires, abnormal movements, or personal injuries.
  • In case of abnormality or fault, stop the product immediately and pull the power plug to avoid fuming, fires, and electric shocks. Symptoms include failure to work, chair turning off/on when cable is moved, burning smell, abnormal sound, or deformed upholstery. Contact an authorized service center immediately.
