Introduction

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for assembling your Arcade1Up 40th Anniversary arcade cabinet. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning assembly. Adult assembly is required.

Important: Inspect the cabinet for any visible signs of damage before assembly. If damage is found, document it and contact customer service immediately. Assembly Steps

Step 1

Attach part G (Base Panel) to part D (Side Panel) using four dowels 'a'.

Step 2

Secure part G to part D using two screws 'b'.

Step 3

Attach two pieces of part K and one piece of part L to other components using a total of twelve dowels 'a' (four for each K, four for L).

Step 4

Connect parts K and L to part D using three screws 'd' for each K, and three screws 'b' for part L.

Step 5

Mount part A (Screen Assembly) onto a base panel using four brackets 'f' and eight screws 'c'.

Step 6

Attach part D to the main cabinet structure using three screws 'c' on each side. CAUTION: Lay panel D on a clean, smooth surface to protect from scratches and dents.

Step 7

Attach part B (Marquee Panel) to part M (Control Board Assembly) using two screws 'c' and ten dowels 'a'.

Step 8

Attach part B to part M using two screws 'c'.

Step 9

Connect the assembly of parts M and B to the main cabinet structure (part D).

Step 10

Attach part H (Side Graphic Panel) to the cabinet.

Step 11

Attach parts N (Front Lower Panel) and I (Side Graphic Panel with Logos) to the cabinet.

Step 12

Attach part E (Top Support Panel) to the cabinet structure using three screws 'd' and six screws 'b'.

Step 13

Secure internal components using four screws 'c'.

Step 14

Attach the "ARCADE UP" marquee panel (B) to the top of the assembled cabinet using one screw 'b'.

Step 15

Remove the protective film from the screen before assembling the control deck.

Step 16

Attach the deck protector to the control deck using screws 'c'.

Step 17

Install the joystick assembly onto the control panel. Hand tighten screws 'b' only.

Step 18

Connect the wiring harness (represented by 'M' and cables with 'X' connectors) to the appropriate ports on the control board.

Step 19

Attach part F (Back Panel) to the cabinet.

Step 20

Attach part F (Back Panel) to the cabinet using three screws 'e'.

Step 21

Connect the power cord (y) to the internal power supply.

Safety Information: Anti-Tip Device Installation

WARNING: Children have died from furniture products tipping over. To reduce the risk of unit tip over, always install the provided Anti-Tip Over device. Never allow children to stand, climb, or hang on the game. Set up on a level floor.

Wall Mounting Instructions:

Secure the apparatus to the wall using the provided Anti-Tip Device.

1. Use a stud finder to locate two (or more) wall studs within the desired area. Studs are typically 16 inches apart.
2. Attach the anti-tip strap to the wall studs using screws 'q' and 'r' (ensure they are screwed into the studs).
3. Attach the other end of the anti-tip strap to the cabinet using screws 's' and 't'.
4. Ensure the strap is taut but not overly tight.
