Jabra Pro 9470 Mono: Connecting to Panasonic Desk Phone
Learn how to connect your Jabra wireless headset with the Jabra Link 14201-40 to a supported Panasonic desk phone for remote call control.
Connection Steps
- Connect the supplied AC adapter to the headset base and plug the other end into an electrical outlet.
- Unplug the Panasonic handset cord from the desk phone base.
- Connect the Panasonic handset cord to the headset base socket marked with a handset icon ?.
- Connect the supplied modular plug cable to the handset interface on your Panasonic phone. Use the end with the blue band for the headset base socket marked with a phone icon ?.
- Connect the Jabra Link 14201-40 EHS cable (red band) to the AUX interface on the headset base. Plug the 3.5mm connector into the EHS interface on the Panasonic phone.

Configuration Steps
- Follow the setup instructions for your Jabra wireless headset. If manual configuration is required for the headset base, set the Electronic Hook Switch (EHS) to “IQ” and the dial tone switch to position “A”.
- Make a test call. Adjust the headset microphone volume as needed to ensure optimal sound levels for the person you are speaking with.
