1. SAFETY
- ✔️ Only use on firm, level, unobstructed surfaces which are capable of supporting the stand and drill.
- ✔️ Ensure stand is fixed to surface capable of supporting stand, drill and work piece.
- ✔️ Replace or repair damaged parts. Use only recommended parts. Unauthorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.

2. INTRODUCTION
Lightweight aluminium diamond core drill stand features tilting mechanism and base plate with anchor fitting. Handle and wheels for ease of transport. Ideal for use with Model No's DCD110V and DCD230V Diamond Core Drills.
3. SPECIFICATION

4. OPERATION
4.1. ATTACHING DRILL TO STAND REF. FIG 1
- The drill is attached to the stand using the drill clamp (fig.1).
- Remove one half of the drill clamp by means of the screws, slot the drill into place and replace the clamp.
- Secure the clamp by using the two locking handles.
4.2. SECURING STAND TO THE GROUND
- To bolt the stand to the ground, drill a hole for a securing bolt a suitable distance away from your intended drilling area.
- Note: You do have some adjustment on the drill base but plan before you drill.
- The base can be levelled using the 4 levelling bolts. Adjust these before securing the anchor bolt.
4.3. SETTING THE ANGLE
- Loosen the angle adjustment bolt and the brace locking handle, slide up or down until you get the desired angle.

Figure 1 illustrates the components for attaching and securing the drill to the stand. Key parts include:
- Drill Cradle: The main support structure for the drill.
- Drill Clamp: Secures the drill motor into the cradle. It consists of two halves, typically attached or secured with screws.
- Raising and Lowering Handle: A lever used to adjust the vertical position of the drill.
- Cradle Locking Screw: Used to fix the drill cradle at a specific height.
- Locking Handles: Two handles used to secure the drill clamp.
- Brace Locking Point and Handle: A mechanism to lock the angle adjustment brace.
- Leveling Bolts: Four adjustable bolts on the base of the stand to ensure it is level on uneven surfaces.
- Anchor Bolt Channel: A channel or hole in the base plate for inserting an anchor bolt to secure the stand to the ground.
- Spirit Level: A small level indicator to help in setting up the stand accurately.
- Angle Adjustment Bolt: A bolt that, when loosened, allows the angle of the drill column to be adjusted.
5. MAINTENANCE
5.1. Keep clean, remove the spatter from the cradle guide channels.
6. TROUBLESHOOTING

Material/Drill Vibration, Resulting in Uneven Drill Holes | Check for drill run-out. | Make sure the machine is mounted correctly. Clean the machine thoroughly and reassemble the drill and check for run-out again. |
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids according to local regulations.
