4. Floor Installation with Base
4.1 Installation Location Requirements
Clearances:
- Minimum 300mm clearance from the ground.
- Minimum 900mm clearance from the wall behind.
- Horizontal distance 'd' between units should be between 500mm and 600mm.
- Ensure a 90° angle for placement.
Recommendations:
- Base mounting is recommended if more than 4 batteries are used.
- For floor installation with base, the maximum stack number is ten batteries. However, if the number exceeds six, stacking two stacks is recommended for stability.
4.2 Installation Procedure
Diagrams illustrate the process of stacking batteries on a base. The procedure involves placing the first unit, then subsequent units on top, ensuring proper alignment and connection.
5. Wall-Mounted Installation Process
5.1 Installation Location Requirements
Clearances:
- Minimum 300mm clearance from the ground.
- Minimum 300mm clearance from the wall.
- Horizontal distance 'd' between units should be between 500mm and 1000mm.
- Ensure a 90° angle for placement.
- Wall mounting angle requirement: -5° ≤ δ ≤ 50°.
Important Notes:
- Avoid drilling holes into water pipes or buried cables within the wall.
- The number of wall-mount installations should not exceed four units.
- Ensure the wall's weight capacity exceeds 150kg.
- A safety part needs to be installed at the top battery. If the battery pack count exceeds 7, an additional safety part should be installed in the middle battery.
5.2 Installation Procedure
Diagrams show the steps for wall mounting, including attaching brackets to the wall, lifting and securing the battery unit onto the brackets, and connecting cables.
6. Installation Environment (Continued)
Recommendation: Build a sun and rain shade to avoid direct exposure to sunlight and rain.
7. Wire Connection
7.1 Connection End Face Introduction
The battery unit features several ports:
- 1: PCS CAN communication
- 2: LINK-IN CAN communication
- 3: LINK-OUT CAN communication
- 4: Safety vent
- 5: Negative terminal
- 6: GND terminal
- 7: Positive terminal
- 8: USB interface
- 9: LED indicator
- 10: Power button
- 11: Circuit breaker
7.2 Diagram of Wiring Connection
The diagram illustrates parallel wiring connections between multiple battery units and the Power Conversion System (PCS). It shows the use of parallel cables connecting positive and negative terminals, and CAN communication cables. A circuit breaker is recommended for connecting the PCS to the JKS-B5150-BI. The recommended circuit breaker specifications are a rated working voltage greater than 80V and a rated working current greater than 125A.
8. Terminal Connection
8.1 Power Terminal
Procedure: Press the indicated position on the power terminal before disconnecting to ensure safe removal. Diagrams show the battery side and wire harness side connections.
