  • Up to an altitude of 4000 m above sea level.

Do not use the appliance with an external timer or remote control.

1.3 Restriction on User Group

Children aged 8 and over, and individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience/knowledge, may use the appliance if supervised or instructed on safe use and potential dangers. Children must not play with the appliance. User maintenance is only permitted for those aged 15 and over, under supervision. Keep children under 8 away from the appliance and power cable.

1.4 Safe Use

Always place accessories in the cooking compartment correctly. Refer to "Accessories", Page 8.

WARNING – Risk of Fire!

Combustible objects left in the cooking compartment can catch fire. Never store combustible objects inside. If smoke appears, switch off the appliance or pull the plug and close the door to stifle flames. Loose food remnants, fat, and meat juices can ignite. Remove food residues before use. Greaseproof paper can catch fire if it comes into contact with heating elements; always cut it to size and secure it with a plate or baking tin.

WARNING – Risk of Burns!

Appliance parts become hot during use. Exercise caution to avoid touching heating elements. Keep children under 8 away. Accessories and cookware also get very hot; use oven gloves. Alcoholic vapours can ignite, causing hot steam and flames to escape; use only small quantities of drinks with high alcohol content and do not heat undiluted spirits (≥ 15% vol.). Open the appliance door carefully.

WARNING – Risk of Scalding!

Accessible parts become hot during operation. Never touch hot parts. Keep children at a safe distance. Hot steam can escape when opening the door, even if not visible. Never pour water into a hot cooking compartment.

WARNING – Risk of Injury!

Scratched glass in the door may crack. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sharp scrapers. Parts may have sharp edges; handle with care and wear gloves. Hinges can trap fingers; keep hands away. Components inside the door may have sharp edges; wear gloves.

WARNING – Risk of Electric Shock!

Improper repairs are dangerous. Only trained specialists should perform repairs using genuine spare parts. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by trained staff.

2 Preventing Material Damage

2.1 General

ATTENTION! Alcoholic vapours can ignite and cause permanent damage. The door may spring open, panels may shatter, and the compartment may deform. Do not heat spirits (≥ 15% vol.) undiluted.

Operating the appliance with water on the floor at temperatures above 120°C will damage the enamel. Do not use if water is present; wipe it dry before operation.

Objects on the cooking compartment floor above 50°C can cause heat buildup, affecting cooking times and damaging enamel. Do not place accessories, greaseproof paper, or foil on the floor. Do not place cookware on the floor at temperatures above 50°C, except for the water bowl for steam assistance.

Water inside a hot compartment creates steam, which can cause damage. Never pour water into a hot compartment. Do not place water reservoirs on the floor (except the steam water bowl). Prolonged moisture can lead to corrosion; dry the compartment after use. Do not store moist food with the door closed. Do not trap anything in the door. Fruit juice can leave stains; avoid overfilling baking trays with juicy fruit flans.

Using oven cleaner in a hot compartment damages enamel. Never use oven cleaner when the compartment is warm. Remove food remnants before heating. A dirty seal can prevent the door from closing properly, potentially damaging adjacent units; keep the seal clean and ensure it is not damaged or missing. Do not place objects on the appliance door. Accessories may scratch the door pane when closing; push them in fully. Aluminium foil contacting the door pane can cause permanent discolouration.

3 Environmental Protection and Saving Energy

3.1 Disposing of Packaging

Packaging materials are environmentally compatible and recyclable. Sort components by type for disposal.

3.2 Saving Energy

  • Only preheat if the recipe requires it. Not preheating can save up to 20% energy.
  • Use dark-coloured, black-coated, or enamelled baking tins as they absorb heat better.
  • Open the appliance door as little as possible to maintain temperature and avoid reheating.
  • Bake multiple dishes in succession or parallel to utilize residual heat.
  • Switch off the appliance 10 minutes before the end of long cooking times to finish with residual heat.
  • Remove unused accessories to avoid heating them.
  • Defrost frozen food before cooking to save energy.

Product information is available online and on the energy label. Standby mode requires max. 1W.

20.1 General Installation Instructions

Ensure safe operation by installing to a professional standard. The installer is liable for damages from incorrect installation. Check for damage after unpacking; do not connect if damaged. Remove all packaging and film before startup. Follow accessory installation sheets. Units must be heat-resistant (95°C for fitted units, 70°C for adjacent fronts). Do not install behind decorative doors due to overheating risk. Carry out cutout work before installation. Position on a horizontal surface. Mains socket must be in the hatched area or outside the installation area. Secure unsecured units to the wall.

WARNING – Risk of Fire! Do not use extended power cords or non-approved adapters. Use only manufacturer-approved cords/adapters. Contact an electrician if the power cord is too short.

ATTENTION! Do not carry or hold the appliance by the door handle, as it cannot support the weight.

Wear protective gloves as accessible parts during installation may have sharp edges.

Observe dimensions and instructions. Ensure door can be opened fully by considering minimum dimensions for unit front thickness and handle.

20.7 Electrical Connection

Disconnect from power supply during installation. Use only provided power cable. Plug cable into rear until it clicks. A 3m cable is available from customer service.

Connection: Identify phase/neutral conductors. Connect wires according to colour coding: Green/yellow = Protective conductor, Blue = Neutral, Brown = Phase. Ensure correct connection to prevent damage.

The power cable must only be replaced by the original manufacturer's cable. Contact protection must be guaranteed by installation.

Electrically connect with protective contact plug: Use only correctly installed protective contact sockets. Insert plug. Mains plug must be accessible after installation; if not, integrate an isolating switch.

Electrically connecting without protective contact plug: Only licensed specialists may connect. Damage from incorrect connection is not covered by warranty. Integrate an isolating switch.
