Expanding Storage (Optional)

The S380 HomeBase comes with 16 GB of storage and allows for additional hard drive expansion.

Prepare Your Hard Drive

Your hard drive must meet the following requirements:

Recommended Brands: Western Digital, Seagate, SAMSUNG, Kingston, PNY, Crucial, SanDisk

Important: Transfer all data to a secure location before adding the hard drive to the S380 HomeBase.

Install Your Hard Drive

Note: The S380 HomeBase must be powered off before installing or removing a hard drive.

1. Push down the top lid to remove it.
2. Loosen the screw, then pull out the hard drive bracket.
3. Fix your hard drive to the bracket with the provided screws.
4. Insert and screw the bracket back to S380 HomeBase, then put the top lid back into place.

You can expand storage as needed. A new hard drive must be initialized via the eufy Security app.

Setting Up

1. Power and connect the S380 HomeBase to your router. The LED indicator will turn blue when ready for setup (approx. 1 minute).
2. Download and install the eufy Security app, then sign up for an account.
3. Follow on-screen instructions to add the S380 HomeBase and cameras to your device list. Note: One S380 HomeBase can pair up to 16 cameras.

Charging the Camera

Fully charge both cameras before first use. This may take about 8 hours for each.

Charging Options:

• Option 1: Connect via USB Port 1 on the HomeBase.
• Option 2: Connect to a 5V USB Charger.

LED Indicator:

Solar Charging

The S330 eufyCam features a solar panel that converts sunlight into electrical energy to keep the battery charged daily. Charging efficiency depends on sunlight intensity.

If the battery level is low due to insufficient sunlight or high power consumption, you do not need to charge with a cable until a low battery alarm sounds.

Requirement: Ensure the solar panel is exposed to direct sunlight for at least 2 hours per day. [sun emoji]

Mounting the Camera

Select a Location

Choose a location for optimal view. Recommended mounting height is 7-10 ft (2-3 m) above the ground.

Best places to install:

• Wall without eaves
• Pole or fence with unobstructed sunlight
• Under eaves, if the eaves are below 3 m high [check mark emoji]

Places not to install:

• Inside your home or under a porch
• Under or on a tree
• Under slanted eaves [X mark emoji]

Mount the Camera

1. Turn the mounting bracket knob counterclockwise to loosen and disassemble.
2. Drill holes using a 15/64 inch (6 mm) drill bit. Insert anchors if mounting on hard materials like concrete, brick, or stucco.
3. Firmly screw the knob of the mounting bracket into the mounting hole.
4. Attach the camera to the mounting bracket by screwing it on. Rotate the camera to adjust the view and check the live stream in the eufy Security app.

For troubleshooting, check the Help section in the eufy Security app. Refer to the app for LED indicator status.

Safety

• Do not use the device in extreme temperatures (below -20°C or above 50°C for T8160, below -10°C or above 45°C for T8030). Charging temperature range is 0°C to 45°C.
• Recommended operating environment temperature: 5°C to 25°C with good ventilation.
• Use only the provided adapter. Unauthorized adapters may cause damage and void the warranty.
• The adapter is for indoor use only. The S380 HomeBase adapter is KA2401A-1202000US (12 Vdc/2A).
• Warning: Incorrect battery replacement can compromise safety. Dispose of batteries properly according to instructions. Avoid exposing batteries to fire, high temperatures, or crushing, as this may cause explosion or leakage.
• Caution: Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of used batteries according to instructions.
• Caution: Lithium coin cell batteries. Keep away from children. Swallowing can cause severe or fatal injuries within 2 hours. Seek immediate medical care if suspected.
