2. Preparing Your Omni E25
2.1 Prepare the Omni Station
- Install the detachable base by pressing down both sides firmly.
- Place the Omni Station in a location with a strong Wi-Fi signal and easy access for RoboVac. It should be against a wall on a hard, level surface. Connect the power cord to the Omni Station and a wall outlet. The LED indicator of the clean water tank will light up when connected to AC power. Ensure recommended clearances: 1.6 ft (0.5m) on sides and 3.3 ft (1m) in front.
- Remove protective films from the clean water tank and dirty water tank.
- Peel off the cover of the Floor Cleaner and install it on the Omni Station.
- Fill the clean water tank with water up to the MAX line, then reinstall the clean water tank.
2.2 Charge Your RoboVac
- Remove foam blocks and protective films from RoboVac.
- Attach RoboVac to the Omni Station. It will power on and start charging automatically.
2.3 Download the App
Download the eufy app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) for full functionality. You can also scan the QR code on the Quick Start Guide.
- Open the app, create a new account, or log in to your existing eufy account.
- Tap the icon to add the device.
- Follow the in-app instructions to set up the Wi-Fi connection.
2.4 Reset the Wi-Fi Connection
If you encounter issues connecting to the eufy app, reset the Wi-Fi connection by pressing and holding the power and recharge buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds until you hear a voice prompt. The LED indicators on RoboVac will flash white, and you can then follow the app instructions to set up the Wi-Fi connection.
3. Using Your Omni E25
Note: UI images are for illustration only and may change due to software updates. Refer to the actual app for the most accurate information.
3.1 Important Tips Before Use
- Remove power cords, small objects (socks, toys, slippers, towels, weighing scales) from the floor to prevent entanglement.
- Fold tasseled edges of rugs to prevent tangling. Avoid cleaning high-pile rugs or rugs thicker than 0.83 in / 21 mm.
- Place physical barriers in front of fireplaces and air vents before mapping. Use virtual boundaries in the eufy app to prevent falls down stairs.
- Avoid vacuuming large amounts of water.
- Remove objects less than 0.83 in / 21 mm in height that RoboVac might climb on.
- Anti-drop sensors prevent falls down stairs, but are less effective if dirty or used on carpeted/reflective floors. Use physical barriers or No-Go zones for safety.
3.2 Mapping
This feature helps RoboVac learn your home layout for efficient and systematic cleaning. Follow these steps for optimal mapping:
- Open all doors within the cleaning area.
- Block off restricted areas with physical barriers or set up No-Go Zones in the app later.
- Remove obstacles like toys and cables.
- Do not move the base station after the floor plan is created.
To start mapping, tap "Start" in the app.
3.3 Set Up No-Go Zone and No-Mop Zone
Use the eufy app to set "No-Go Zones" or "No-Mop Zones" as restricted areas, eliminating the need for physical barriers. This feature is for zone division, not for hazardous areas.
3.4 Schedule Cleaning
Schedule RoboVac to clean at specific times using the eufy app. You can set the time and customize cleaning schedules from Sunday to Saturday. During the "Do Not Disturb" period, RoboVac will remain silent, with automatic dust collection and voice notifications disabled.
3.5 Select a Cleaning Mode
Start/pause cleaning or select a cleaning mode via the eufy app. You can customize modes, duration, water level, and suction level for each cleaning mode.
- 3.5.1 House Cleaning Mode: Tap "Start" in the app. RoboVac cleans the entire mapped area and returns to the Omni Station. To pause, tap "Pause" in the app or press the power button on RoboVac.
- 3.5.2 Room Cleaning Mode: RoboVac divides your house into rooms. Select specific rooms in the app for cleaning. RoboVac will only clean the selected rooms and return to the Omni Station. Ensure the map is created before using this mode.
- 3.5.3 Zone Cleaning Mode: Set up a specific cleaning zone and size in the app. RoboVac will clean only the selected zone.
4. Using the Mopping System
- Start cleaning. RoboVac will vacuum and mop. Choose from three water levels via the eufy app.
- Activate the drying function after each mopping task to prevent odors in the roller mop. Use "Standard Drying" for optimal results.
- Regularly empty and clean the dirty water tank to prevent mildew. Refer to the "Cleaning and Maintenance" section for details.
5. Using RoboVac with Alexa, Siri, or Google Assistant Compatible Devices
Control RoboVac with voice commands using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. Ensure RoboVac is connected to the Omni Station and the eufy app. For Siri control, use an iPhone or iPad running a recent iOS version.
- In the eufy app, click the top left corner and find "Smart Integrations" in the dropdown menu.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
6. Enabling / Disabling Child Safety Lock
Activate the child safety lock in the eufy app under "More Settings" > "Child Lock". When enabled, all buttons are locked to prevent accidental operation by children.
7. Cleaning and Maintenance
Power off the device and unplug the power adapter before cleaning or maintenance. For optimal performance, clean and maintain E25 regularly. Cleaning and replacement frequency depends on usage habits.
