Tips
- To ensure sound quality and normal audio output, plug the speaker wire into the TYPE-C jack all the way until there is a "click" tone.
- Due to the waterproof finish for the charging connector, the Type-C Jack will be much longer, so please use the XGP TYPE-C cable for charging.
1. Product Overview
The XGP Motorcycle Intercom X10 features a Mesh Button and Jog Dial for intuitive control.
Battery Prompts
- Usable Power: Power is ? (percentage indicated). Tap ?x2 for usable power.
- Low Battery Prompt: Red ? and blue ? lights flash, voice prompts "pairing". Blue light blinks.
- Battery below 50%: ?️ "Power is lower than 50%". Charge.
- Battery below 10%: ?️ "Power is lower than 10%". Power off. (Use DC 5V adapter to charge. Red light flashes while charging, turns BLUE when fully charged.)
2. Basic Function
- Power On: Hold ?3s. ?️ "Power on". Blue light flashes.
- Power Off: Hold ?2s. ?️ "Power off". Red light goes out.
- Factory Reset: Hold ?3s. ?️ "Factory Reset". Red ? and blue ? lights flash. (After factory reset, power off and restart the device. The power button will flash red and blue alternately. At this point, you can directly connect the device to your phone via Bluetooth without entering pairing mode again.)
3. Phone Call
Connect Phone (Power off status)
Hold ?4 seconds. ?️ "connected". Blue light blinks. (The X10 unit can simultaneously connect two phones.)
Answer Call
Tap ?x1. ?️ "Answer".
End Call
Tap ?x1. ?️ "End".
Reject Call
Hold ?1s. ?️ "Reject".
Enable Auto-answering Call
Hold ?3 seconds. ?️ "enable auto answer". Auto-answering about 6s.
Disable Auto-answering Call
Hold ?3 seconds. ?️ "disable auto answer". Shut down. (The factory default setting is "No auto answering".)
Activate Voice Call (Siri/Google Assistant)
Tap ?x2. ?️ "Speak out the name on your phone list to call or other commands."
4. Mesh Intercom Function
Mesh Intercom Function (Power on Status)
Tap ?x1 on each intercom. The green ? light flashes quickly. After 5s, the Solid green ? light is On. ?️ "intercom mesh on", ?️ "N" mesh devices connected.
Turn off Mesh Intercom
Tap ?x2. ?️ "Intercom mesh off". The green ? light is Off.
Exit Mesh Intercom
Tap ?x1.
Recover Mesh Intercom
Tap ?x1. The green ? light flashes every 2s. The solid green ? light is ON.
- The XGP X10 can support up to 10 people to have a mesh intercom talk. The "N" presents numbers 1 to 10.
- Anyone who wants to exit the mesh intercom, just click the "M" button. At this time others can still keep connected and talk; if they want to re-enter the mesh intercom talk, click the "M" button again to join in.
- If someone goes beyond the range and disconnects from the mesh intercom talk, it will automatically reconnect if they come back to the mesh group talk within 5 minutes, or they have to click the "M" button again to re-join.
5. Music Function
Music Play/Pause
Tap ?x1. ▶️ Play (music playing). ⏸ Pause (music stops). The blue ? light flashes slowly on X10.
Music Switch
Tap ?x1. ⏮ Last song (music playing).
Tap ?x1. ⏭ Next song (music playing).
6. Universal Pairing
2-Way Bluetooth Intercom (Power on Status)
Hold ?3s (other brand enter pairing mode on its way). The red ? and blue ? lights flash, ?️ "searching". The blue ? light flashes on X10, ?️ "device is connected".
2-Way Bluetooth Intercom
Start a talk: Tap ?x1 together.
End a talk: Tap ?x1 together.
(To connect with XGP other styles intercom, just enter the pairing mode together when the red ? and blue ? light flash on both units, wait till the blue ? light slowly flashes then you can talk back and forth.)
Volume Modulation
Rotate clockwise ?. ?️ "Turn up" (music playing).
Rotate counterclockwise ?. ?️ "Turn down" (music playing).
- There's a tone "du" while adjusting volume. When the volume is at the maximum the tone turns to "di", and at the minimum it turns to "du".
- The X10 has Audio Multitasking feature. So when you have an intercom talk and music playing simultaneously, rotate the Jog Dial directly to adjust the music volume, and pause the music playing then rotate the Jog Dial to adjust the intercom volume.
