1. Product Overview
The XGP X10 intercom features the following controls and ports:
- Play Forward Button
- Play Backward Button
- Rotary Knob Button
- Mesh Button
- TYPE-C Charging and Headphone Port
2. Basic Functions
Power On
- Action: Press and hold the Rotary Knob Button for 2 seconds.
- Indicator: Blue light blinks.
Power Off
- Action: Press and hold the Rotary Knob Button for 2 seconds.
- Indicator: Red light goes out.
Battery Prompts
- Check Battery Level: Tap the Rotary Knob Button twice.
- Voice Prompt: "power is%" (e.g., "power is 80%").
Low Battery Prompt
- Battery below 50%:
- Voice Prompt: "power is lower than 50%".
- Battery below 10%:
- Voice Prompt: "power is lower than 10%".
- Note: Please use a DC 5V adapter for charging. The light is red during charging and blue when fully charged.
Factory Reset
- Action: Press and hold the Rotary Knob Button and the Mesh Button simultaneously for 3 seconds.
- Voice Prompt: "Factory Reset".
- Indicator: Red and blue lights flash alternately.
- Note: After a factory reset, the device will power off and restart. At this point, you can connect the device directly to your phone via Bluetooth without re-entering pairing mode.
3. Phone Function
Connecting Phone (Power-off Status)
- Action: Press and hold the Rotary Knob Button for 4 seconds.
- Indicator: Red and blue lights blink.
- Voice Prompts: "Pairing", "Phone Bluetooth connected X10", "connected".
- Note: The X10 supports simultaneous connection of two mobile phones.
Activate Automatic Call Answering
- Action: Press and hold the Rotary Knob Button and the Mesh Button simultaneously for 3 seconds.
- Voice Prompt: "enable auto answer".
- Result: Automatic answer after approximately 6 seconds.
Deactivate Automatic Call Answering
- Action: Press and hold the Rotary Knob Button and the Mesh Button simultaneously for 3 seconds.
- Voice Prompt: "disable auto answer".
- Result: Device powers off.
- Note: The factory default setting is "No automatic answer".
Answer Call
- Action: Tap the Rotary Knob Button once during an incoming call.
End Call
- Action: Tap the Rotary Knob Button once during a call.
Reject Call
- Action: Press and hold the Rotary Knob Button for 1 second during an incoming call.
Activate Voice Call (Siri/Google)
- Action: Tap the Rotary Knob Button twice.
- Result: Speak the name in your phone list to make a call or issue other commands.
4. Mesh Intercom Function
Mesh Intercom On (Power-on Status)
- Action: In the power-on state, press the Mesh Button once for each X10 device.
- Indicator: Green light blinks quickly for 5 seconds, then stays on.
- Voice Prompts: "intercom mesh on", then "N mesh devices connected" (where N is the number of connected devices).
Leave Mesh Intercom
- Action: Tap the Mesh Button once.
- Indicator: Green light blinks every 2 seconds.
Restore Mesh Intercom
- Action: Tap the Mesh Button once.
- Indicator: Green light stays on.
Turn Off Mesh Intercom
- Action: Tap the Mesh Button twice.
- Voice Prompt: "Intercom mesh off".
- Indicator: Green light goes out.
Important Notes on Mesh Functionality:
- The XGP X10 can support up to 10 people for a Mesh intercom. "N" represents the numbers 1 to 10.
- Anyone who wants to leave the Mesh intercom simply clicks the "M" button; at this time, others can still remain connected and talk. If the Mesh intercom needs to be called again, click the "M" button again to join.
- If someone is out of range and disconnects from the Mesh intercom, they will automatically reconnect when they return to the Mesh group conversation within five minutes, or they must click the "M" button again to reconnect.
5. Music Function
Music Play/Pause
- Action: Tap the Rotary Knob Button once.
- Result: Music stops or plays.
Change Music
- Previous Song: Tap the Rotary Knob Button once.
- Next Song: Tap the Rotary Knob Button once.
Volume Adjustment
- Increase Volume: Turn the Rotary Knob Button clockwise.
- Decrease Volume: Turn the Rotary Knob Button counter-clockwise.
Notes on Volume and Audio Multitasking:
- When adjusting the volume, there is a "du" tone. At maximum volume, the voice prompt is "di", and at minimum, it's "da".
- The X10 features an Audio Multitasking function. If an intercom and music are playing simultaneously, turn the Rotary Knob Button directly to adjust the music volume. To adjust the intercom volume, pause the music playback and then turn the Rotary Knob Button.
6. Universal Pairing
2-Way Bluetooth Intercom (Power-on Status)
- Action: Press and hold the Rotary Knob Button for 3 seconds (other brands enter pairing mode).
- Indicator: Red and blue lights blink, voice prompt "Searching".
- Indicator: Blue light flashes slowly on X10, voice prompt "device is connected".
- Start Call: Tap the Rotary Knob Button and the Mesh Button simultaneously once.
- End Call: Tap the Rotary Knob Button and the Mesh Button simultaneously once.
Note: To connect with other XGP styles, simply enter pairing mode together. When the red and blue lights on both devices are blinking, wait until the blue light blinks slowly, and then you can talk back and forth.
