  9. Press the [START/PAUSE button] to start the wash cycle. The door will lock (symbol turns on). The Sensing routine begins.

Pausing a Cycle

Press the [START/PAUSE button] to pause the wash cycle. Press it again to resume from the interruption point.

Opening the Door, If Necessary

Once a cycle starts, a symbol indicates the door is locked. To open the door while a cycle is running (e.g., to add or remove garments), press the [START/PAUSE button] to pause the cycle. If the symbol is off, the door can be opened. Press [START/PAUSE button] again to continue the cycle.

Stop&Add

To change a cycle in progress, pause the machine using the [START/PAUSE button], select the desired cycle, and press [START/PAUSE button] again. To cancel a cycle, press and hold the [ON/OFF button] for a few seconds. If water is present, the drain function will start.

At the End of the Wash Cycle

"CYCLE END" will be indicated on the display. The door can be opened when the symbol turns off. Open the door, unload the laundry, and switch off the machine. If the [ON/OFF button] is not pressed, the washing machine will switch off automatically after approximately 10 minutes.

Options

If a selected option is incompatible with the current cycle or another selected option, it will be shown in grey with "Not available" on the display, accompanied by a buzzer.

Descale and Clean Procedure

[Info symbol] A reminder will appear approximately every 50 cycles to run a maintenance cycle for cleaning and to combat limescale build-up and bad odours.

For optimal maintenance, run an empty "Cotton" cycle at minimum 60°C without PreWash, using WPRO Limescale and grease remover.

To delete the descale alert, turn the knob or press any button (including the [ON/OFF button]).

Tips and Suggestions

Care and Maintenance

Switch off and unplug the washing machine before cleaning and maintenance. Do not use flammable liquids.

Clean the machine: Use a soft cloth soaked in lukewarm soapy water. Do not use solvents or abrasives.

Clean the detergent dispenser drawer: Remove as described, wash under running water, including the detergent and softener tanks. Repeat frequently.

Care for the door and drum: Always leave the porthole door ajar to prevent unpleasant odours.

Check the water inlet hose: Check at least once a year. Replace if cracked or broken, as high water pressure could cause it to split.

Cleaning the drain pump filter / draining residual water:

  1. Switch off and unplug the machine.
  2. Gently press the top area of the filter cover to open.
  3. Place a container near the pump to collect spillage.
  4. Stretch the "emergency drain hose" to the container.
  5. Turn the stopper of the "emergency drain hose" and let water flow into the container.
  6. When the container is full, reinsert the small hose into the machine's base and close the stopper firmly. Empty the container.
  7. Lay a cotton cloth beneath the drain pump filter to absorb residual water. Remove the filter by turning it anticlockwise.
  8. Clean the filter under running water. Check for foreign bodies (coins, buttons, etc.) that could obstruct the pump fan.
  9. Reinsert the filter by turning it clockwise. Ensure the filter handle is in a vertical position.

If the washing machine fails to work, check these common issues before contacting Technical Assistance:
