IKEA LACK Wall Shelf Assembly Instructions

Important Safety Warning

Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur from furniture falling down. To prevent this furniture from falling down, it must be used with the wall attachment device(s) provided.

Screws and plugs for the wall are not included. Assess the suitability of the wall to ensure that it will withstand the forces generated. Use screws and plugs suitable for your walls and the intended load. If you are uncertain, seek professional advice. Read and follow each step of the instruction carefully.

Assembly Steps

Before you begin, gather the necessary tools and identify the parts.

You will need the provided wall mounting bracket (1x) and screws (2x). Part numbers visible in the diagrams include 109053, 109054, and 139394.

Step 1: Attach Wall Bracket

Mount the wall bracket securely to the wall. Use appropriate screws and wall plugs (not included) suitable for your wall type and the intended load. The diagram shows 5 screws being used to fix the bracket.

Step 2: Position Shelf and Secure

Place the shelf onto the wall bracket. From the underside of the shelf, insert 5 screws through the shelf and into the bracket to secure it. Ensure the shelf is level and stable.

Note: Always use screws and plugs appropriate for your wall type. If unsure, consult a professional. Do not attempt to force parts or use incorrect fixings.

Step 3: Slide Shelf onto Bracket

Carefully slide the shelf onto the mounted wall bracket, ensuring it is fully seated.

Step 4: Final Securing

From the underside of the shelf, insert 2 screws to further secure the shelf to the bracket. This ensures the shelf is firmly attached.
