Product Introduction

Please read this manual carefully before using the product and keep it for future reference.

Product Components

• Indicator Light: Shows connection status.
• Lens: Captures video footage.
• Microphone Hole: For audio input.
• MicroSD Card Slot: For local storage.
• Power Port: Micro-USB port for power supply.
• Loudspeaker: For audio output.
• Reset Hole: For restoring factory settings.

Front View: Shows the lens, microphone, and indicator light.

Rear View: Shows the power port and reset hole.

Installation

The camera can be placed on flat surfaces like desks or tables, or mounted on a wall.

Wall Mounting

1. Mark the hole positions on the wall according to the base's hole spacing.
2. Drill two holes with a diameter of approximately 6mm and a depth of approximately 30mm.
3. Insert the plastic expansion screws into the drilled holes.
4. Align the base with the holes on the wall, ensuring the side with the arrow on the base faces outwards.
5. Insert screws through the base holes and tighten them into the expansion screws using a Phillips screwdriver.
6. Align the groove on the bottom of the camera with the raised part on the base and rotate clockwise until it locks into place.

Notes for Wall Mounting:

• The wall must be able to support at least 3 times the total weight of the camera.
• For safety, the device must be securely fixed to the ceiling or wall according to the installation instructions.

Getting Started

Installing a MicroSD Card

• Ensure the camera is powered off.
• Push the lens upward to reveal the MicroSD card slot.
• Insert the MicroSD card into the slot with its contact points facing downward.
• Note: Use a genuine MicroSD card (up to 32GB) from a qualified supplier. A read/write speed of no less than U1/Class 10 is recommended.

Turning on the Camera

• Plug the charging cable into the Micro-USB power port on the back of the camera.
• The camera will automatically turn on, and the indicator light will flash orange quickly.
• Note: Do not forcibly rotate the camera lens after powering on. If the lens positioning is inaccurate, it can be calibrated via the app.

Connecting with Mi Home/Xiaomi Home App

• Scan the QR code to download and install the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app. Users who already have the app installed will be directed to the device connection page. Alternatively, search for "Mi Home" in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
• Open the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app, tap "+" on the homepage to add the device, following the app's instructions.
• Ensure the network is stable and the camera is turned on (indicator light flashing orange).
• Upon successful connection, the indicator light will turn solid blue.

Indicator Light Status

• Solid Blue: Connected successfully / Working properly.
• Blinking Blue: Network error.
• Quickly Blinking Orange: To be connected.
• Slowly Blinking Orange: Updating.

Note: Actual operations may differ slightly from this description due to app updates. Please follow the latest Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app version guidance.

Restoring Factory Settings

• If you change the camera's connected network or Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app account, use a pin to press and hold the reset hole for approximately 5 seconds to restore the camera to factory settings, then reconnect the app.
• Note: Restoring factory settings will not delete the content on the MicroSD card.

Features

Real-time Surveillance

In the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app's control interface for the Mi 360° Home Security Camera 2K Pro, you can view the real-time surveillance feed. You can adjust the camera's clarity, horizontal, and vertical angles, capture and record footage, and perform remote calls.

Infrared Night Vision

The camera automatically switches to night vision mode based on ambient light changes. It features built-in infrared night vision lights with a night vision distance of up to 9 meters, allowing for clear shooting in darkness.

Playback

The playback feature is available only when a compatible MicroSD card is installed. After installing the MicroSD card and powering on the camera, it automatically starts recording. In the app's control interface, tap the playback button to enter the playback interface. Drag the timeline to select the desired playback time segment. Supports playback at up to 16x speed.

Home Surveillance Assistant

When the Home Surveillance Assistant function is enabled, the camera detects human movement and changes in real-time within its field of view. It records video clips of detected events and sends push notifications to the app, providing automatic monitoring.

You can enable or disable this function in the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app. Settings can be customized for all-day, daytime, or nighttime monitoring, as well as custom monitoring times, alarm sensitivity, and alarm interval settings.

Video Sharing

In the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app's settings menu, under device sharing options, you can set the camera as a shared device and invite others to view. Shared users need to download the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app and log in with their Xiaomi account.

Physical Lens Blocking

When recording is not required, tap the physical lens blocking function in the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app. The camera will automatically adjust the lens so that it is covered by the camera body, protecting user privacy.

Precautions

• The operating temperature range for this camera is between -10°C and 40°C. Do not use the camera in environments with temperatures outside this range.
• This camera is a precision electronic product. Do not use it in excessively humid environments or where it may come into contact with water to avoid affecting normal operation.
• To ensure optimal performance, avoid positioning the camera lens directly facing or close to reflective surfaces such as glass or white walls, as this may cause bright areas in the foreground and dark or washed-out areas in the background.
• Ensure the camera is installed within a Wi-Fi signal coverage area and place it in a location with a strong Wi-Fi signal. Avoid placing it near metal objects or microwave ovens that may interfere with the signal.
