Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your Arlo Essential Outdoor Camera:

1. Battery Preparation

   Your battery comes partially charged due to shipping regulations. We recommend fully charging the battery before proceeding with the installation.

2. Download/Update Arlo Secure App

   Scan the QR code below to download or update the Arlo Secure App. You can also visit arlo.com/app/secure/. Sign in or create an account within the app.

3. Configure Your Camera

   In the Arlo Secure App:

   • Tap "Devices".
   • Tap the "+" icon to begin setting up your camera.
   • Tap "Cameras", then select "Essential Series".
   • Select "Essential Cameras 2nd Generation" and follow the on-screen instructions.

   If you have multiple cameras, complete the setup process for one camera at a time.
