This document provides essential information for the correct and safe installation of your Belling Farmhouse 90PYR Cooker Hood.

Included Components and Hardware
Verify that all parts are present before beginning installation:
- Hood Body (A)
- Upper Chimney Section (B)
- Lower Chimney Section (C)
- Circular Filters (W)
- Ducting Adapter
- Screws (I): 8 pieces
- Screws (L): 8 pieces
- Screws (N): 4 pieces
Safety Precautions and Installation Requirements
Safety Guidelines:
- Installation requires the assistance of two people ?.
- Always wear protective gloves ? during the installation process.
Ducting Options:
- Flexible ducting Ø 120 mm (requires 2x clamps)
- Flexible ducting Ø 150 mm (requires 2x clamps)
Mounting Specifications:
- Maintain a minimum clearance of 65 cm above the hob.
- Ensure the mounting surface is level and at a 90° angle.
Installation Procedure
Follow these steps carefully for proper installation:
Step 1: Planning and Marking
Determine the ducting path (vertical or horizontal). For vertical installations, ensure a slight upward slope (approx. 2°). Mark the precise mounting locations on the wall above the cooking hob.
Step 2: Review Dimensions
Familiarize yourself with the hood's dimensions: Width (898-998 mm), Depth (490 mm), Adjustable Height (MIN 530 mm - MAX 870 mm), Chimney (180 mm x 210 mm).
Step 3: Install Wall Bracket
Attach the wall mounting bracket securely. Refer to the diagram for specific measurements (e.g., 60.60, 125, 220, 32, 205). Drill Ø 8 mm holes (X8) as indicated for mounting.
Step 4: Attach Hood to Bracket
Lift and position the cooker hood onto the wall bracket. Secure it using 8 screws (I).
Step 5: Final Hood Securing
Further reinforce the hood's attachment to the wall using 8 screws (L).
Step 6: Connect Upper Chimney
Slide the upper chimney section (B) over the hood body.
Step 7: Secure Chimney Section
Fasten the upper chimney section (B) in place.
Step 8: Wall Mounting Check
Confirm the hood is firmly and safely mounted to the wall.
Step 9: Select Duct Outlet Size
Choose the appropriate duct outlet size for your ventilation system: Ø 150 mm or Ø 120 mm.
Step 10: Connect Flexible Ducting
Attach the flexible ducting to the hood's outlet. Secure the ducting using 4 screws (L).
Step 11: Install Check Valve
Insert the check valve into the ducting system to prevent backflow.
Step 12: Re-check Wall Mounting
Ensure all wall-mounting connections are secure.
Step 13: Install Motor/Fan Unit
Carefully insert the motor/fan unit (W) into its housing within the hood.
Step 14: Join Chimney Sections
Connect the upper and lower chimney sections. Secure them together using 4 screws (L).
Step 15: Complete Chimney Assembly
Ensure the chimney sections are correctly aligned and assembled.
Step 16: Secure Upper Chimney (B)
Fasten the upper chimney section (B) to the lower section or wall mount using 4 screws (N).
Step 17: Attach Chimney B to C
Connect chimney section B to chimney section C, ensuring a snug fit.
Step 18: Final Chimney Configuration
The chimney structure is now fully assembled and in place.
Step 19: Install Grease Filters
Insert the grease filters (Z) into their designated slots within the hood body.
Step 20: Install Motor/Fan and Filters
Ensure the motor/fan unit (W) is correctly installed and that all filters are properly seated.
