5.5 Device
WARNING! Risk of serious injury due to rotating fan blades!
Always disconnect the product from the power supply before assembly, disassembly, relocation, or any cleaning or maintenance work.
- Rotating fan blades can cause serious injuries. Do not operate the fan if the fan blades are exposed (e.g., during cleaning).
- Keep fingers, hair, loose clothing, and nearby cords away from the rotating fan blades.
- Stay clear of the rotating fan blades! Be especially careful when switching on the device and adjusting the speed.
- Regularly check the power cord, mains plug, motor, and fan blades for damage. If you notice any damage, refrain from further use.
- Place the device on a firm, flat surface, at a safe distance from objects that can be sucked in (e.g., curtains), in a location where there is sufficient space for the oscillation function.
- Regularly check the device for loose or missing parts. Tighten any loose parts properly before operation.
- Do not operate the fan in an explosive and/or flammable environment.
- Do not place the fan near open flames, cooking or other heating appliances.
- Do not operate the fan near an open window. Rain can enter the fan and cause a short circuit.
5.6 Power Cord
Do not modify or repair power supply components, including the mains plug, power cord, and adapter. Do not use damaged parts! There is a risk of death from electric shock!
The mains socket should be near the device and easily accessible.
- Never plug or unplug the plug from the mains socket with wet hands.
- To disconnect the device from the mains, never pull the cord. Always grip the designated gripping surface of the plug.
- If you are not using the device for a longer period, unplug the plug from the mains socket.
- During thunderstorms, always unplug the plug from the mains socket for safety reasons.
- Ensure that the electrical cord is not pinched, kinked, damaged by sharp edges, or subjected to mechanical stress.
- Protect the electrical cord from excessive thermal stress caused by high heat or cold.
- Do not make any modifications to the cable. Failure to do so may damage the power cord. A damaged power cord can lead to fatal electric shock.
- If the power cord is visibly damaged, do not touch it.
- First, de-energize the socket to which the product is connected (e.g., by switching off the corresponding circuit breaker), then carefully pull the plug from the socket.
- Under no circumstances use a device with a damaged electrical cord.
- To prevent hazards, a damaged power cord may only be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized workshop, or a similarly qualified professional.
- Ensure the cable is not pinched, kinked, or damaged by sharp edges.
- Always route electrical cables so that they do not create a tripping hazard or that no one can get caught in them. Failure to do so poses a risk of injury.
5.7 Batteries
- When inserting batteries, pay attention to correct polarity.
- If you are not using the device for a longer period, remove the batteries to prevent damage from leakage. Leaked or damaged batteries can cause corrosive injuries upon contact with skin. Therefore, wear protective gloves when handling damaged batteries.
- Store batteries out of reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying around, as children or pets may swallow them.
- Always replace batteries at the same time. Mixing old and new batteries can lead to battery leakage and damage to the device.
- Do not disassemble, short-circuit, or throw batteries into fire. Never attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Risk of explosion!
5.8 Drilling
Before drilling into the mounting surface and inserting the mounting elements, ensure that there are no electrical wires or pipes under the surface that could be damaged by drilling. If you accidentally drill into an electrical wire in the wall, you could suffer a life-threatening electric shock!

- Secure the fan blade with the fan fixing cap (3). Tighten the fan fixing cap counter-clockwise.
- Align the front protective grille (2) with the holes in the fan housing and secure the grille with the 8 screws (1).
9. Mounting the Fan on the Wall
9.1 Selecting the Mounting Location
When selecting the mounting location, consider the following:
- Mount the fan on a flat, solid, and stable wall that is strong enough to support the weight of the fan.
- Mount the fan in a secure location on the wall. To reduce the risk of accidents, do not mount the fan directly above beds, sun loungers, or similar.
- Mount the fan at a height that prevents easy access.
9.2 Mounting the Fan
WARNING! The fan can fall if improperly mounted. Risk of accident.
- Seek expert advice on whether the mounting surface is suitable.
- Choose mounting material suitable for the mounting surface.
- Have the mounting performed by a professional.
- Unplug the device from the mains socket.
- Mark the mounting holes on the wall. Use the holes in the bracket as a template.
- Select mounting material suitable for the mounting surface. A set of dowels and screws is included in the package.
- If using the screws and dowels included in the package, drill holes 30 mm deep at the marked locations. If drilling into plasterboard or concrete, the drill bit should have the same diameter as the dowels used. If drilling into wood, the drill bit should have a smaller diameter than the screw.
- Screw the 2 mounting screws into the holes, leaving the screw heads protruding 2 mm from the wall to hang the fan.
- Align the 2 mounting holes on the fan with the screw heads and slide the fan downwards until it is securely fastened.
- Tighten the screws if necessary.

12. Waste Disposal
12.1 Device
All electrical and electronic appliances placed on the European market must be marked with this symbol. This symbol indicates that the appliance must be collected separately from unsorted municipal waste at the end of its useful life. The owner of used appliances is obliged to collect used appliances separately from unsorted municipal waste. Before handing over used appliances at a collection point, the end-user must remove any non-integrated batteries and accumulators from the used appliance, as well as any lamps that can be removed without damaging the appliance. Distributors of electrical and electronic equipment are legally obliged to take back used appliances free of charge. Conrad provides the following free return options (further options can be found on our website):
- at our Conrad stores,
- at collection points established by Conrad,
- at collection points established by public waste management providers or manufacturers and distributors in accordance with the law on waste electrical and electronic equipment.
The end-user is responsible for deleting personal data stored on the used appliance before handing it over. Please note that regulations for the disposal of used appliances may vary by country outside of Germany.
12.2 Batteries/Accumulators
Remove any batteries/accumulators present in the device and dispose of them separately from the device in the waste collection. As an end-user, you are legally obliged (Battery Regulation) to return used batteries and accumulators; batteries/accumulators must not be put into household waste!
Batteries/accumulators containing hazardous substances are marked with the symbol shown here, which indicates that they must not be disposed of together with household waste. The markings for relevant heavy metals are as follows: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (the marking is located on the batteries/accumulators, e.g., under the waste bin icon shown on the left).
Used batteries/accumulators can be returned free of charge at your local waste collection stations, our branches, and at all points where batteries/accumulators are sold. By doing so, you fulfill your legal obligations and contribute to environmental protection. Before handing over to waste collection, the exposed contacts of the battery/accumulator must be completely covered with adhesive tape to prevent short circuits. Even if batteries/accumulators are discharged, the residual energy they contain can be dangerous in case of a short circuit (bursting, strong heating, fire, explosion).
