- Bottom and top element on: Conventional heating.
- Full Grill (Grill and top element): For intense browning and grilling larger portions.
- Fan and bottom heater on: Suitable for baking low pastry, preserving fruit and vegetables.
- Fan, grill element: Speeds up grilling and improves taste. Use with the oven door shut.

- Circular heater Fan: Heats the oven evenly with the fan, reducing heating-up time and allowing simultaneous baking on two levels.
- Fan (Defrost): Fan only works for cooling, defrosting, or cooling the oven chamber.
- Separate oven lighting: Switches on the oven light.
Warning: Keep children away from the oven when the grill is in use.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Proper cleaning and maintenance ensure fault-free operation. Ensure the oven is switched off and has cooled down before cleaning.
Oven
- Clean the oven after each use.
- Cool the oven completely before cleaning.
- Do not use pressurized steam cleaners.
- Clean the oven chamber with warm water and a mild washing-up liquid.
- Steam cleaning: Pour 250ml of water into a bowl placed on the bottom level. Heat the oven to 100°C with the bottom heater for 30 minutes. Wipe the chamber clean with a damp cloth.
- Wipe the oven dry after cleaning.
Changing the Oven Lamp
- Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before maintenance.
- Let the oven cavity and heating elements cool down.
- Unscrew the protective cover. Wash and dry the glass cover.
- Remove the old bulb and insert a new high-temperature bulb (300°C, 25W, G9 fitting).
- Refit the protective cover.
- Important: Do not use screwdrivers or other tools to remove the light cover, as this can damage the oven enamel. Remove by hand.
- Important: Never replace the bulb with bare hands; use a clean cloth or gloves to prevent premature failure.
Door Removal
The door can be removed for easier cleaning.
- Tilt the safety catch part of the hinge upwards.
- Close the door lightly, lift, and pull it out towards you.
- To refit, align the hinge notch with the hinge holder protrusion. Lower the safety catch carefully.

Press the symbol "仑" and pull the plastic latch outwards. Remove the glass panel from the blocking mechanism. After cleaning, reinsert and secure the glass panel.
Catalytic Liners (for ED-BIO8FDT SS/BK)
These models have catalytic liners coated with a special enamel. The porous surface absorbs and oxidizes food spatters. For effective cleaning, operate the oven at high temperatures (260°C for one hour) periodically. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or caustic oven cleaners.
To remove catalytic liners, detach the screws.
Operation in Case of Emergency
If the appliance does not work, the display shows "0.00", or the oven lighting does not work, refer to the table for troubleshooting steps. Check fuses, function knob settings, and bulb connections.

Baking in the Oven
Baking Cakes and Loaves
Use the upper and lower heater, or hot air for baking. Baking parameters in tables are approximate and may need adjustment based on experience.
- Baking with "upper and lower elements" and "fan and upper and lower elements": Use a single guide level. Suitable for dry pastry, bread, and teacakes. Use dark baking pans for better browning. Place pans on the grid rack. Preheating is recommended.
Baking Tips
- Is cake baked? Pierce with a skewer; if no dough sticks, it's baked.
- Cake has fallen: Check recipe and mixing times.
- Cake is too light on the bottom: Use darker pans, place the pan one level lower, or switch on the lower heater briefly before completion.
- Cheesecake is undercooked: Reduce baking temperature and extend baking time.
Warnings regarding the baking tables
- Tables provide temperature ranges; start with the lower temperature.
- Baking times are indicative. Asterisks (*) indicate preheating is required.
Roasting
Best results are achieved with both upper and lower elements. Use light enamel pans, temperature-resistant glass, clay dishes, or cast iron dishes. Avoid stainless steel dishes as they reflect heat. Covering the roast or using foil preserves juices and keeps the oven clean. Uncovered roasts cook quicker. Large roasts can be placed directly on the grid with a tray below for fat.
Tips regarding roasting pans:
- Use light enamel pans, glass, clay, or cast iron dishes.
- Stainless steel dishes are not recommended.
- Covering the roast or using foil preserves juices and keeps the oven clean.
- Uncovered roasts cook quicker. Large roasts can be placed directly on the grid with a tray below for fat.
- Excessive steaming and condensation on the oven door during roasting of large meat chunks is normal. Wipe the oven door and glass thoroughly afterwards.
- Add sufficient liquid to prevent burning. Check and add liquid as needed.
- Turn the roast halfway through cooking, especially if using a deep roast dish.
- When roasting on the grill grid, place the grid in the deep roasting pan and insert both into the oven guides.
- Never leave roast to cool in the oven to prevent condensation and corrosion.
Grilling
Take precautions due to intense heat. Use protective gloves and barbecue accessories. Perforated food may spurt hot grease; use long tongs. Supervise the grill constantly to prevent burning or fire. Keep children away from the grill.
Grill heater is suitable for low-fat sausages, meat, fish fillets, and steaks, and for browning roast skin.
Tips for grilling:
- Grilling should be done with the oven door closed.
- Grilling tables provide recommended temperatures, guide levels, and times, which may vary.
- Preheat the grill element for 3 minutes.
- Oil the grill grid to prevent food sticking.
- Place meat on the grid, then place the grid on the grease interception pan. Insert both into the oven guides.
- Turn meat halfway through grilling time.
- Dark beef meat grills quicker than lighter pork or veal.
- Clean the grill, oven, and accessories after each use.
Baking Tables
Detailed tables for pastry baking and grilling are provided, including type of food, weight, guide level, temperature, and time.
