Product Image and Connection Diagram

Operation Mode Switching

To use the HD Thermal Imaging Camera, switch the Ground Side Device Mode to Race Mode.

Operating Instructions:

  1. On the ground end device, press the menu key and select the settings option.
  2. In settings, select 'Device' and find the 'Switching Mode' option.
  3. Select 'Race Mode' and save the settings.

OSD Functions

The OSD (On-Screen Display) allows customization of the video display string via an external menu board. The OSD board has sections for up, down, left, right, and center. The operation interface allows character selection, deletion, and insertion into the current string.

Operating Instructions:

  1. Connect the menu board to the device.
  2. Wait for the device to power on and display an image.
  3. Press the center button to bring up the operation interface.
  4. The interface has four lines: the first two for character choice, the third for deletion, and the fourth for the current character. The black background indicates the cursor position.
  5. Use the up, down, left, or right buttons to move the cursor. Press the center button to select a character to insert into the string.
  6. Move the cursor to 'DEL' and press center to delete the last character. Clearing the string results in '[NA]'.
  7. Move the cursor to the fourth line and press center to exit. The current settings string will be displayed in the lower left corner if not empty.

Image Adjustment

Functions include brightness and contrast adjustment, pseudo-color selection, and shutter control.

Brightness and Contrast:

Brightness and contrast can be set with values from 0-100.

Pseudo-Color:

Allows selection of different pseudo-color modes (e.g., 0, 5).

Shutter Control:

Options include manual shutter calibration, disabling automatic shutter calibration, and enabling automatic shutter calibration.

Hot Tracking

This feature allows for tracking of hot spots. It can be turned on or off.

Serial Communication Description

The device uses serial communication with a 3.3V level and a default baud rate of 115200bps. The communication protocol includes fields for header, version, command ID, sub-command, payload length, payload, and CRC16 checksum.

Protocol Structure:

Header (10 Bytes) | Version (1 Byte) | cmd (1 Byte) | sub_cmd (1 Byte) | payload_len (1 Byte) | payload (Variable) | crc16 (2 Bytes)

Command Definitions:

Commands are used for various functions like getting version information, setting brightness/contrast, and controlling the shutter.

CRC Calculation:

A CRC16 Modbus algorithm is used for checksum calculation.
