CADDXFPV GM2 User Manual

Connection and Use

The GM2 gimbal features a wiring interface with connections for VCC (7V-26V), GND, RX, TX, PWM 1, PWM 2, PWM 3, and PWM 4.

Connection Details:

[1] VCC(7V-26V) / GND / RX / TX: Connect the VCC and GND to the power supply. RX and TX are for UART communication.
[1] USB Port Connection: Connect to the USB port of the Avatar V2 VTX. This connection is necessary when using Avatar Goggles that support head tracking to enable wireless head tracking functionality.
[2] PWM 1-4: These are PWM channels for controlling various gimbal functions.

PWM Channel Functions:

PM1 (Gimbal Working Mode Selection): This channel selects one of three working modes:
- Mode 1: Pitch and roll axes maintain level, yaw axis follows.
- Mode 2: Pitch axis maintains level, roll axis and yaw axis follow.
- Mode 3: Three-axis follow.
PM2 (Gimbal Follow Sensitivity Settings): This channel adjusts the response speed of the gimbal's follow function. It should be controlled using a knob channel on the remote control.
PM3 (Gimbal Pitch Axis Control): This channel controls the pitch axis of the gimbal. Use a rotary switch on the remote controller for control. The gimbal's rotation angle range can be modified by adjusting the channel range of the remote control.
PM4 (Gimbal Yaw Control): This channel controls the yaw axis of the gimbal. Use a wave wheel switch on the remote control for control. The gimbal's rotation angle range can be modified by adjusting the channel range of the remote control.
