WARNING!
For safety, certain functions are disabled unless the parking brake is engaged. Improper connection or use of the parking brake switch connection may violate applicable law and result in serious injury or damage. This unit is not intended for use with a video screen visible to the driver. To avoid accidents and legal violations, the front video image feature should never be used while the vehicle is in motion. Other video displays should not distract the driver. Viewing images on a display inside a vehicle may be illegal in some regions; obey all applicable regulations. Always wear your seat belt. The supplier disclaims all liability for failure to follow these warnings.
OPERATION PRECAUTIONS
- Connect only to a 12VDC battery with negative grounding.
- Avoid direct sunlight, high dust, high temperatures (over 40°C), or high humidity (over 90%). Cool the car interior if temperatures are high.
- Operate in well-ventilated areas.
- Do not turn the unit on/off at short intervals. Wait at least 10 seconds before turning it back on.
- Do not operate with scratched, bent, or broken discs, or force improperly loaded discs.
- Do not watch video playback while driving due to safety risks and potential legal violations (except for rear view camera and navigation systems).
- Do not install the unit where it obstructs safe driving.
- Do not disassemble the unit yourself; seek professional repair.
- Do not open or close the monitor manually to avoid damaging the tilt system.
- Do not touch the LCD screen with hard objects to prevent scratches.
- If the monitor back touches the dashboard or air-conditioner inlet after opening, adjust the TILT level in the monitor menu.
- High temperatures from parking in direct sunlight may affect operation; allow the unit to cool down.
- Use only the specified fuse type for the power cable; improper fuses can cause damage.
- Do not use irregular shaped discs.
- IR remote control operation may be hindered by the monitor; use it at a similar level to the receiver.
- Do not install the unit where the cooling fan is blocked.

Wiring Connections
Ensure a good chassis ground for optimal electrical performance. The ground connection area should be clean, bare metal.
Caution: Do not interchange wiring connections. Some car models may require modification of the power cord. Consult an authorized car dealer.
Using the ISO Connector
- If your car has an ISO connector, connect them as illustrated.
- For cars without ISO connectors, carefully check vehicle wiring before connecting to avoid damage.
- Cut the connector and connect colored leads of the power cord to the car battery as per the color code table for speaker and power cables.
Note: Never connect cables while the unit is connected to the battery. Disconnecting from the battery erases preset memory. The brown cable for steering wheel control allows unit control via the steering wheel. The parking wire must be connected to a brake signal for video display safety. Two cables are for a Hands-Free device (not included).
Parking Wire Connection Diagram Description: Shows the parking brake wire from the car DVD player connecting to the parking brake switch (activated by parking brake), which indicates the parking brake light. This connects to the car battery and to the metal body part or chassis ground.
Connecting the Reversing Line to Taillight
After connecting the reversing line to the taillight, the unit will display the rear view camera image when the reverse gear is engaged.
Speaker Connection Notes:
- Use only groundless loudspeakers.
- Loudspeakers should be a minimum of 40 Watts; lower wattage may cause damage at high volumes.
- Use 4-8 Ω (Ohm impedance) loudspeakers only; higher or lower impedance may damage the unit.
- Do not use 3-cable loudspeakers or connect speaker minus to the car body (GND). The unit uses a BTL circuit, requiring insulated cables.
- Loudspeaker cables and external power amplifiers should be kept approximately 30cm away from the antenna.
- For 7" TFT display, the parking wire must be connected to ground.
