Introduction
Thank you for choosing this Continental Edison product. This user manual contains important safety information and instructions for operating and maintaining your appliance. Please take the time to read this manual before using your appliance and keep it for future reference.
Safety Precautions
This section provides safety guidelines to protect you from risks of bodily injury or material damage. Failure to comply with these instructions will void the warranty.
1.1. Electrical Safety
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate remote control system.
- Do not touch the power cord with wet hands. Always pull the plug to disconnect the appliance, otherwise you risk electrocution.
- Connect the tumble dryer to an earthed socket with fuse protection. If your socket is not earthed, have a qualified electrician install an earthed socket protected by a fuse in accordance with current regulations.
- Continental Edison is not responsible for damages/losses resulting from the use of the tumble dryer without an earth connection, as required by local regulations.
- The required voltage and fuse protection are indicated on the rating plate.
- The voltage and frequency values indicated on the rating plate must correspond to your home's electrical supply voltage and frequency.
- Unplug the tumble dryer when not in use for extended periods and before installation, maintenance, cleaning, and repair, otherwise it may be damaged.
- The power socket must be accessible at all times after installation.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service, or similarly qualified persons to avoid danger.
1.2. Child Safety
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge, if they are properly supervised or given instructions on the safe use of the appliance and if the risks involved have been understood. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision. Keep children under 3 years of age away from the appliance unless they are under continuous supervision.
- Do not leave children unsupervised near the machine.
- Children can lock themselves in the machine and risk death.
- Do not let children touch the glass door while the machine is running. The surface becomes extremely hot and can cause skin burns.
- Keep packaging materials out of the reach of children.
- In case of ingestion or skin/eye contact, detergents and cleaning products can cause poisoning or irritation. Keep cleaning products out of the reach of children. Electrical products are dangerous for them.
- Keep children away from the product while it is running.
- To prevent children from interrupting the drying cycle, you can use the child lock feature to prevent any modification of the current program.
- Do not allow children to sit on or enter the appliance.
1.3. Product Safety
- WARNING: Due to the risk of fire, the following laundry and products must NEVER be dried in the tumble dryer:
- Do not dry unwashed items in the tumble dryer.
- Items soiled with substances such as cooking oil, acetone, alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, stain removers, turpentine, wax, and wax removers should be washed in hot water with an extra amount of detergent before being dried in the tumble dryer.
- Items such as foam rubber (latex foam), shower caps, waterproof textiles, rubber-backed items, and pillows or cushions with foam rubber parts should not be dried in the tumble dryer.
- Use fabric softeners or similar products in accordance with the fabric softener instructions.
- The final part of a tumble dryer cycle occurs without heat (cooling cycle) to ensure that items are subjected to a temperature that prevents damage.
- Remove any objects such as lighters and matches from pockets.
- Upholstered items and damaged items (pillows or jackets). The foam in these items can ignite during the drying process.
- Using the tumble dryer in an environment containing flour or coal dust can cause an explosion.
- ATTENTION: Underwear containing metal underwires must be placed in a net bag for use in a tumble dryer. Otherwise, the tumble dryer may be damaged if the metal underwires detach and break during drying.
- FIRE: R290 Risk of fire and damage! This product contains environmentally friendly but flammable R290 gas. Always keep the product away from open flames and sources of ignition.
1.4. Proper Use
- CAUTION: Never stop a tumble dryer before the end of the drying cycle, unless all items are removed quickly and spread out to dissipate heat.
- ATTENTION: Ensure that pets do not enter the tumble dryer. Check the inside of the tumble dryer before use.
- ATTENTION: Overheating of clothes inside the tumble dryer can occur if you cancel the program or if there is a power failure while the machine is running. This concentration of heat can cause spontaneous combustion. Therefore, you should always activate the Refresh program to cool down or quickly remove all laundry from the tumble dryer to hang it and dissipate heat.
- Only use the tumble dryer for domestic drying and for drying fabrics with a label indicating they are suitable for tumble drying. All other uses are outside the intended scope and are prohibited.
- The warranty will be voided in case of commercial use.
- This appliance is intended for domestic use only and must be placed on a flat, stable surface.
- Do not lean on or sit on the tumble dryer door. The tumble dryer could tip over.
- To maintain a temperature that will not damage the laundry (e.g., to prevent the laundry from catching fire), the drying cycle always ends with a cooling cycle. At the end of the program, the laundry must be removed quickly from the machine.
- ATTENTION: Never use the tumble dryer without a lint filter or with a damaged lint filter.
- Lint filters must be cleaned after each use as indicated in the section on lint filter cleaning.
- Lint filters must be dried after cleaning. A damp filter can cause a malfunction during the drying cycle.
- Do not allow lint to accumulate around the tumble dryer (not applicable to appliances intended for external ventilation).
- IMPORTANT: Ventilation openings must not be obstructed by carpets, wood, or adhesive tape. Otherwise, the machine's ventilation may be insufficient.
- Do not install the tumble dryer in rooms where there is a risk of frost. Very low temperatures negatively affect the performance of tumble dryers. Condensation water freezing in the pump and hose can cause damage.
1.5. Installation on a Washing Machine
- ATTENTION: A washing machine must not be placed on the tumble dryer. Pay attention to the warnings below before installing the tumble dryer on a washing machine.
- ATTENTION: The tumble dryer can only be placed on washing machines of equal or larger dimensions.
- To use the tumble dryer on a washing machine, you must use a stacking kit between the two machines. The stacking kit must be installed by an authorized service provider.
- When the tumble dryer is placed on the washing machine, the total weight of these products can be around 150 kilograms (when loaded). Place the products on a solid floor that can support such a load!

To stack the tumble dryer on the washing machine, a special stacking kit is available as an option. Please contact your retailer or customer service to purchase it. Assembly instructions will be provided with the stacking kit.

2. INSTALLATION
2.1. Connection to Water Outlet (with optional drain hose)
For products equipped with a condenser unit, water accumulates in the water tank during the drying process. You must empty the accumulated water after each drying process. Instead of periodically emptying the water tank, you can also use the water drain hose provided with the product to drain the water directly outside.
2.1.1. Connecting the Water Drain Hose
- Pull and remove the hose end from the back of the tumble dryer. Do not use any tools to remove the hose.
- Fix one end of the water drain hose, supplied with the appliance, into the slot from which you removed the hose.
- Fix the other end of the water drain hose directly to the water outlet or sink.
ATTENTION: The hose must be connected so that it cannot be moved. If the hose comes out during water drainage, your house may be flooded.
IMPORTANT: The water drain hose must be installed at a maximum height of 80 cm.
IMPORTANT: The water drain hose must not be kinked or raised between the outlet and the machine.
2.2. Adjusting the Feet
- For the tumble dryer to operate with less noise and vibration, it must be stable and balanced on its feet. Adjust the feet to ensure the appliance is balanced.
- Turn the feet clockwise and counterclockwise until the tumble dryer is level and stable.
- IMPORTANT: Avoid removing the adjustable feet.
2.3. Electrical Connection
- ATTENTION: Risk of fire and electric shock.
- Your tumble dryer is set to 220-240 V and 50 Hz.
- The tumble dryer's power cord is equipped with a special plug. This plug must be connected to an earthed socket protected by a 16-amp fuse as indicated on the rating plate. The rated current of the fuse for the electrical line to which the outlet is connected must also be 16 amperes. Consult a qualified electrician if you do not have such a socket or fuse.
- Continental Edison cannot be held responsible for damages resulting from use without an earth connection.
- IMPORTANT: Using your appliance at low voltage values will reduce its lifespan and decrease its performance.
2.4. Installation Under a Countertop
- When installing under a countertop, leave a space of at least 3 cm between the side and rear walls of the machine and the underside of the worktop.
- The assembly/disassembly for under-counter installation, if necessary, must be carried out by an authorized service agent.

4. PREPARING THE LAUNDRY
4.1. Sorting Laundry for Drying
Follow the instructions on the laundry care labels. Only dry items with a declaration or symbol indicating they "can be tumble dried" can effectively be tumble dried.
Avoid using the machine with load quantities and types of laundry different from those indicated in point 4.3. Load Capacity.
Laundry care symbols:

Avoid drying thin, multi-layered, or thick fabrics together, as they dry at different rates. For this reason, group together dry clothes that have the same structure and fabric type. This method allows you to achieve a uniform drying result. If you think the laundry is still damp, you can select an additional drying program.
Please dry your large items (e.g., duvets) and small items separately to avoid damp laundry.
4.2. Preparing Laundry for Drying
- Risk of explosion and fire! Remove all objects such as lighters and matches from pockets.
- ATTENTION: The tumble dryer drum and fabrics can be damaged.
- Clothes may have become tangled during the washing process. Separate them before placing them in the tumble dryer.
- Remove all objects from clothing pockets and follow the instructions below:
- Tie fabric belts, apron laces, etc., to each other or use a laundry bag.
- Zip up zippers, fastenings, and fasteners, unbutton duvet covers.
- For the best drying result, sort laundry by fabric type and drying program.
- Remove pins and other similar metal parts from clothing.
- Woven materials such as t-shirts and knitted garments generally shrink during the first drying. Use a protective program.
- Avoid over-drying synthetic materials, as this can cause wrinkles.
- When washing laundry for drying, adjust the amount of fabric softener according to the washing machine manufacturer's data.
4.3. Load Capacity
Follow the instructions in section "Program Selection and Consumption Table". Avoid loading the machine with a quantity of laundry exceeding the capacity values specified in the table.
IMPORTANT: It is not recommended to load the tumble dryer with more laundry than indicated in the figure. If overloaded, its drying performance will decrease, which may cause damage to the tumble dryer and the laundry.

5. USING THE TUMBLE DRYER
5.1. Control Panel
The control panel consists of:

5.2. Program Selection and Consumption Table
Press the Start/Stop button to start the program. The Start/Stop LED lights up to indicate the program launch, and the drying LED lights up.

The "Cotton Ready to Store" program is the standard drying program that can be run at full or half load and for which the information is provided on the product label and invoice. This program is the most energy-efficient for drying damp cotton laundry.

All values in the table were determined in accordance with EN 61121:2013. Consumption values may differ from the values indicated in the table depending on the type of fabric, spin speed, ambient conditions, and voltage values.
5.2.1. AUXILIARY FUNCTIONS
The table below summarizes the options that can be selected within the programs:
Option | Description |

Crease Care | If you select the "Crease Care" option and do not open the tumble dryer door at the end of the program, the 1-hour crease care phase will take 2 hours. After selecting the Crease Care option, you will hear an audible warning signal. You can press the same button again to cancel this option. If you open the door or press the Start/Pause button while the crease care process is still in progress, this phase will be cancelled. |
Delay Start | You can delay the program start time by selecting the 3-hour, 6-hour, or 9-hour option. You can activate the desired delay by pressing the Start/Stop button. When the time comes, the selected program will start automatically. During the delay, options compatible with the program can be activated/deactivated. |
Drying Level | It is possible to increase the residual moisture level by up to 3 points after drying. Thus, it is possible to select the required drying level. Selectable levels beyond standard settings: 1, 2, 3. After selection, the LED for the corresponding drying level will light up. |
Cancel Buzzer | The tumble dryer emits an audible warning when you turn the program selection knob and when you press buttons, at the end of the program. To cancel these warnings, press and hold the "Delicate Drying Option" button for 3 seconds. If you press this button, you will hear a warning sound indicating that the option has been cancelled. |
Child Lock | There is a child lock option to prevent changes to the program sequence when buttons are pressed during the program. To activate the child lock function, the user must simultaneously press the "Drying Level" and "Anti-crease" buttons for 3 seconds. When the child lock is activated, all buttons are deactivated. The child lock is not automatically deactivated at the end of the program. To deactivate the child lock at the end of the program, turn the program selection knob to the "Off" position. Then, place the program selection knob in the first position. The child lock remains active. To deactivate the child lock function, the user must simultaneously press the "Drying Level" and "Anti-crease" buttons for 3 seconds. When you activate/deactivate the child lock, "CL" will be displayed on the screen for 2 seconds and then turn off, and an audible signal will sound. Warning: When the product is running or the child lock is active, if you turn the program selection knob, you will hear an audible warning and "CL" will be displayed on the screen for 2 seconds and then turn off. If you turn the program selection knob, you will hear an audible warning. Even if you set the program selection knob to another program, the previously selected program will continue to run. To select a new program, you must deactivate the child lock before setting the program selection knob. |
5.2.2. STARTING THE PROGRAM
The Start/Pause LED flashes during program selection. Press the Start/Pause button to start the program. The Start/Pause indicator light, which indicates that the program has started, and the drying LED will light up.

Synthetics Ready to Iron | This program dries synthetic fabrics, such as shirts, t-shirts, and blouses, at a lower temperature compared to the "cotton" program, to prepare them for ironing. The laundry comes out of the machine damp. |
Delicate | This program dries light garments, such as shirts, blouses, and silk items, at a low temperature to make them ready to wear. |
Mixed | This program dries laundry made of both cotton and synthetic fabrics that do not fade, to make them ready to wear. |
Baby | This program dries delicate children's clothing at a low temperature to make them ready to wear. |
Jeans | This program is used for drying jeans. |
Timed Programs | To achieve the required drying level at a low temperature, you can use the timed programs of 20 min, 40 min, and 60 min. Regardless of the drying level, the program will stop at the desired time. |
Refresh | This program provides 10 minutes of air circulation without heat to refresh your clothes. |
Quick 34' | 1 kg of cotton shirts spun at high speed in the washing machine are dried in 34 minutes. |
Shirts 20' | 2 to 3 shirts are ready for ironing after 20 minutes. |
IMPORTANT: Do not open the loading door while the program is running. If you need to open the door, do not leave it open for long.
5.2.3. Energy Saving Mode
If you do not press any buttons for 15 minutes during the program selection stage, the tumble dryer switches to energy-saving mode to reduce energy consumption. The screen turns off. In energy-saving mode, " - - - " flashes, meaning it is on for 0.5 seconds and off for 3 seconds. The " - - - " indicator will be dimmer in energy-saving mode. To select and start a program, you must turn the tumble dryer off and on again.
During Program Execution
If you open the door while the program is running, the machine switches to standby mode. Once the door is closed again, press the Start/Stop button to resume the program.
Do not open the loading door while the program is running. If you need to open the door, do not leave it open for long.
End of Program
Once the program is finished, the Start/Stop LED, the water reservoir level indicator, the lint filter cleaning indicator, and the condenser cleaning indicator will light up. Additionally, an audible warning will sound at the end of the program. You can remove the laundry to prepare the machine for a new load.
IMPORTANT: Clean the lint filter after each program. Empty the water reservoir after each program.
IMPORTANT: If you do not remove the laundry at the end of the program, the 1-hour Anti-crease phase will be automatically activated. This program rotates the drum at regular intervals to prevent creases.
5.3. Drum Lighting Information
- This product includes a drum lighting LED. The light automatically turns on when you open the door and automatically turns off after a few seconds.
- The user cannot choose to turn it on or off at will.
- Do not attempt to replace or change the LED light.
6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT: Do not use industrial chemical products to clean your tumble dryer. Do not use a tumble dryer that has been cleaned with industrial chemical products.
6.1. Cleaning the Lint Filters
IMPORTANT: DO NOT FORGET TO CLEAN THE LINT FILTERS AFTER EACH USE.
To clean the lint filters:
- Open the loading door.
- Pull the lint filters upwards to remove them.
- Open the outer filter.
- Clean the outer filter with your hands or a soft cloth.
- Open the inner filter.
- Clean the inner filter with your hands or a soft cloth.
- Close the filters and adjust the hooks.
- Place the inner filter back inside the outer filter.
9. Cleaning the Lint Filter
After a period of use, if you notice a layer that may obstruct the filter surface, wash the filter with lukewarm water to remove this layer. Dry the filter thoroughly before reinstalling it.
6.2. Emptying the Water Reservoir
- Pull the drawer cover and carefully remove the reservoir.
- Empty the water from the reservoir.
- If lint accumulates on the reservoir's discharge cap, clean it with water.
- Reinstall the water reservoir.
IMPORTANT: Never remove the water reservoir while the program is running. Condensed water in the water reservoir is not suitable for human consumption.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT FORGET TO EMPTY THE WATER RESERVOIR AFTER EACH USE.
6.3. Cleaning the Heat Exchanger
IMPORTANT: Clean the heat exchanger when the "Heat Exchanger Cleaning" warning message appears.
IMPORTANT: EVEN IF THE "HEAT EXCHANGER CLEANING WARNING LIGHT" IS NOT LIT: CLEAN THE HEAT EXCHANGER AFTER EVERY 30 DRYING CYCLES OR ONCE A MONTH.
At the end of the drying process, open the loading door and wait for it to cool down.
- Open the protective plate cover as shown.
- Unlock the heat exchanger cover by turning it in the direction indicated by the arrows.
- Remove the heat exchanger as shown.
- Clean the front surface of the heat exchanger as shown.
- Place the heat exchanger back as shown.
- Lock the heat exchanger cover by turning it in the direction indicated by the arrows.
- Close the protective plate cover as shown.
WARNING: DO NOT CLEAN WITH BARE HANDS AS THE HEAT EXCHANGER FINS ARE SHARP. YOU RISK INJURING YOUR HANDS.
6.4. Cleaning the Humidity Sensor
Inside the machine are humidity sensors that detect whether the laundry is dry or not.
To clean the sensors:
- Open the machine's loading door.
- If the machine is still hot from the drying process, wait for it to cool down.
- Using a soft cloth dampened with vinegar, wipe the sensor's metallic surfaces and dry them.
IMPORTANT: CLEAN THE SENSOR'S METALLIC SURFACES 4 TIMES A YEAR.
IMPORTANT: Avoid cleaning the sensor's metallic surfaces with metal tools.
WARNING: Due to the risk of fire and explosion, do not use solutions, cleaning agents, or similar products when cleaning the sensors.
6.5. Cleaning the Inside of the Loading Door
IMPORTANT: DO NOT FORGET TO CLEAN THE INSIDE SURFACE OF THE LOADING DOOR AFTER EACH DRYING PROCESS.
Open the tumble dryer's loading door and clean all interior surfaces and the seal with a soft, damp cloth.

IMPORTANT: Declared values were obtained in a laboratory in accordance with current standards. These values may vary depending on environmental conditions and tumble dryer usage.
ATTENTION:
- For safety reasons, legislation requires a room of at least 1 m³ per 8 g of refrigerant for these appliances. For 110 g of propane, the minimum room size would be 13.75 m³.
- Refrigerant: risk of fire/risk of poisoning/risk of material damage and appliance damage. The appliance contains R290 refrigerant which, while environmentally friendly, is flammable. Improper disposal can lead to fire or poisoning. Dispose of the appliance properly and do not damage the refrigerant circuit pipes.

8. TROUBLESHOOTING
Your tumble dryer is equipped with systems that constantly perform checks during the drying process to take necessary measures and alert you in case of malfunction. If a problem persists even after following the steps in this section, please contact your authorized dealer or a service provider. Never attempt to repair a non-functional product.

9. AUTOMATIC FAULT WARNINGS AND WHAT TO DO
Your tumble dryer is equipped with an integrated fault detection system. These are indicated by a combination of flashing indicator lights. The most common problem codes are described below.

11.2. Energy Efficiency
- You can operate the tumble dryer at full capacity, but ensure it is not overloaded.
- When washing laundry, the spin speed should be as high as possible. This shortens the drying time and reduces energy consumption.
- Ensure that you dry laundry of the same type together.
- Follow the user manual recommendations for program selection.
- For air circulation, allow sufficient clearance at the front and rear of the machine. Do not cover the grilles at the front of the machine.
- Unless necessary, do not open the machine door during drying. If you need to open it, do not leave it open for long.
- Do not add extra (damp) laundry during the drying process.
- Fuzz and lint that detach from the laundry and collect in the air are collected by the "lint filters". Be sure to clean the filters before and after each use.
- For models with a heat pump, ensure that the heat exchanger is cleaned at least once a month or after every 30 uses.
- During the drying process, the environment in which the tumble dryer is installed must be well-ventilated.
