Pre-installation instructions

Step 1 | Check the door opening direction

The product can be installed on doors with four opening directions: left-out pull, right-in push, right-out pull, and left-in push.

Step 2 | Change the handle direction

  1. Remove the 2 cross recessed screws, 1 cross recessed set, and 1 lever protective cover.
  2. Rotate the lever 180 degrees.
  3. Re-attach the 2 screws and tighten them.

Step 3 | Change the latch bolt direction

The latch bolt direction can be changed for outward or inward door opening.

  1. Push the inverting tailpiece to the top.
  2. Press the latch bolt down to the mortise surface, rotate it 180 degrees, and pull it out.
  3. Push the tailpiece to the bottom.
  4. Change the direction of the directional screw according to your needs. The directional screw must be installed on the inside of the door (inside escutcheon).

Attention: Choose a proper installation kit based on door thickness. The default kit is for 38-60mm. Contact support for other ranges.

Attention: Cut the key tailpiece as needed and use the square shaft and connecting screw tube with proper length.

Installation steps

The following steps are for right-open doors. Adjustments may be needed for left-open doors.

  1. Use the drilling template to drill holes and mount the mortise into the door.
  2. Tighten the 4 fixed screws when inserting the mortise.
  3. Install the connecting screw tube, square shaft, and compressed spring into the lever hole. Pass the connection wire through the mortise hole. Align the cylinder key tailpiece and square shaft with the rotary holes on the mortise. Insert them to keep the outside escutcheon close to the door.
  4. Pass the connection wire through the hole on the mortise. Align the cylinder key tailpiece and the square shaft with the 2 rotary holes on the mortise, and insert them to make sure the outside escutcheon is kept close to the outside of the door.
  5. Tighten the mounting plate with 3 anchor screws against the inside of the door.
  6. Insert the compressed spring and square shaft into the inside escutcheon. Connect the outside escutcheon wire and mortise wire to the corresponding sockets on the inside escutcheon. Align the square shaft to the rotary holes on the mortise and insert them to make the inside escutcheon close to the inside of the door.
  7. Tighten the 2 anchor screws.
  8. Install the batteries, then the battery cover and the inside lower cover.
  9. Test the inside and outside levers, mechanical key, and check if all components are well connected.

Attention: Ensure the extra connection wire is hidden in the door hole.

4 How to set up your EasyKey

Pre-setup Instructions

The EasyKey operates in two modes: General mode (unlock with any registered identity) and Dual verification mode (unlock with any two of PIN code, card, or fingerprint).

User Number

User information can be deleted by user number without affecting other data. A table is provided to record user information.

Icon annotation

Icons represent Master PIN code, One-time PIN code, Visitor PIN code, User PIN code, User number, Fingerprint registration, Card registration, and Key registration.

Attention: [*] returns to the previous menu. The default master PIN code is 12345678.

How to enter master mode

Press [#], enter master PIN code, and confirm with [#].

User settings

Register a user PIN code

Press [#], enter master PIN code, confirm with [#]. Press [2] for user registration, then [1] to register a new PIN code. Enter a 6-12 digit PIN code, confirm with [#], re-enter to confirm. A success prompt will appear. Press [*] to exit.

Modify master PIN code

Press [#], enter master PIN code, confirm with [#]. Press [1] to modify. Enter the new master PIN code, confirm with [#], re-enter to confirm. A success prompt will appear. Press [*] to exit.

Register a one-time user PIN code

Press [#], enter master PIN code, confirm with [#]. Press [2] for user settings, then [2] for one-time PIN code registration. Enter a 6-12 digit one-time PIN code, confirm with [#], re-enter to confirm. A success prompt will appear. Press [*] to exit.

User Information Deletion

Delete a user PIN code

Press [#], enter master PIN code, confirm with [#]. Press [3] for deletion, then [1] for user PIN code deletion, then [1] to delete a single PIN code. Enter the 2-digit user number (00-09) and confirm with [#]. A success prompt will appear. Press [*] to exit.

Delete a one-time user PIN code

Press [#], enter master PIN code, confirm with [#]. Press [3] for deletion, then [2] for one-time PIN code deletion.

Delete a card

Press [#], enter master PIN code, confirm with [#]. Press [3] for deletion, then [4] for card deletion, then [1] to delete a single card. Press [*] to exit.

Delete all cards

Press [#], enter master PIN code, confirm with [#]. Press [3] for deletion, then [4] for card deletion, then [2] to delete all cards. Press [*] to exit.

Delete a fingerprint

Press [#], enter master PIN code, confirm with [#]. Press [3] for deletion, then [3] for fingerprint deletion, then [1] to delete a single fingerprint. Enter the 2-digit user number (00-99) and confirm with [#]. A success prompt will appear. Press [*] to exit.

Delete all fingerprints

Press [#], enter master PIN code, confirm with [#]. Press [3] for deletion, then [3] for fingerprint deletion, then [2] to delete all fingerprints. Press [*] to exit.

Delete all user PIN codes

Press [#], enter master PIN code, confirm with [#]. Press [3] for deletion, then [1] for user PIN code deletion, then [2] to delete all user PIN codes. Press [*] to exit.

System date initialization

Remove the inside lower cover. Double-click the [RES] button with a sharp object until a voice prompt indicates factory settings are restored. All user information will be cleared.

5 How to use your EasyKey

Unlock | Unlock from outside

With User PIN code

  1. Touch the keypad to wake the system.
  2. Enter the registered user PIN code and confirm with [#].
  3. After a "Door opened" prompt, press the handle to open the door.

With Fingerprint

  1. Place your registered finger on the sensor.
  2. After a "Door opened" prompt, press the handle to open the door.

With Card

  1. Place your registered card on the card reader.
  2. After a "Door opened" prompt, press the handle to open the door.

Unlock | Unlock from inside

With handle

The inside fast-opening mechanism allows you to unlock by pressing the handle. Ensure the safe handle switch is toggled to green (disabled) for this function.

Attention: Ensure the safe handle switch is toggled to green scale and the safe handle function is disabled when opening the door from the inside.

Lock | Lock from outside/inside

Lock from outside

The sensor bolt detects door closure, and the motor drives the main dead bolt to automatically pop up and lock the door.

Lock from inside

The sensor bolt detects door closure, and the motor drives the main dead bolt to automatically pop up and lock the door.

Dead lock from inside

Long press the [CLOSE] button until it flashes red and a voice prompt confirms "Inside deadlock enabled". In this mode, all outside escutcheon functions are locked. The keypad will display "15937(X)" and a voice prompt will indicate the deadlock status. Master PIN code or mechanical key is required to unlock.

Attention: Under deadlock mode, all outside escutcheon operations are disabled. Master PIN code verification or mechanical key opening is required to unlock the door.

Auto and manual modes

[A] represents Auto mode: The dead bolt pops up automatically after closing the door, locking it.

[M] represents Manual mode: The dead bolt does not pop up automatically. Unlocking requires fingerprint, card, or PIN code verification. The door remains open until locked manually.

Mechanical key opening

  1. Cut the box, take out the key shell, push the cover aside to reveal the key.
  2. Insert the key into the keyhole, keeping the key and key shell vertical. Rotate the key shell 90° towards the handle until it is close to the door surface.
  3. Rotate the key shell downwards 180° to make it parallel to the ground. Rotate the key shell horizontally towards the handle to unlock the door.

Attention: It is suggested not to use the mechanical key for daily unlocking. Use it for emergencies like battery depletion, forgotten PIN codes, or system failure.

6 Other functions

Safe handle function: Lock up the handle from inside

Function

When enabled, this function locks the inside handle, preventing unlocking from the inside.

How to use

  1. Enable safe handle function: Toggle the switch to the red scale.
  2. Disable safe handle function: Toggle the switch to the green scale.

Restore factory settings: one button to return to initial state

Function: Empties all user information and restores factory settings.

How to use: Double-click the [RES] button with a sharp object. All user information will be cleared, and the lock will be restored to factory settings.

One-button mute function

Function

Mutes the lock's voice guide, useful for quiet environments.

How to use

  1. Mute: When the system is awake, long press the [Mute] button for 2 seconds to enter one-time mute mode. The button glows green.
  2. Unmute: When the system is awake, long press the [Mute] button for 2 seconds to restore the voice guide. The button glows white.

Outside forced lock function

Function

Unlocking from inside triggers an alarm.

How to use

After the door is successfully locked, long press the functional button for 2 seconds to enter the outside forced lock mode.

Attention: Enabling the outside forced lock function does not affect normal unlocking from outside.

Indicates system lock status after multiple incorrect inputs.

Attention: The system prompt for being locked appears only when touching the keyboard panel.

8 Troubleshooting

Types of alarms and alarm modes

How to use an emergency power

If the battery is insufficient and the door cannot be opened from the outside, use a 5V power bank connected to the Micro USB interface as emergency power. Replace batteries immediately after opening the door. If the system crashes, press and release the Reset button to restart.

How to replace batteries

The lock uses 4 AA alkaline batteries. Two sets of working power stations are inside the battery case, located at the upper end of the inside escutcheon. Eight batteries can extend battery life. Push the button at the top of the inside escutcheon to remove the battery cover and access the batteries.
