1. Important Information
Safety Precautions
- Read the user manual before use. Failure to follow instructions may void the warranty.
- Use only specified parts and accessories.
- Use only alkaline batteries of the same type.
- Do not disassemble the product.
- Avoid using sharp objects on the fingerprint sensor.
- Keep the product away from rain and moisture.
- Avoid contact with corrosive substances.
- Do not hang items on the door handle.
- Clean with a soft cloth.

- Change the master PIN after installation.

Before Installation
Step 1: Check Door Opening Direction
The lock is compatible with four opening directions: Left Push, Left Pull, Right Push, Right Pull. Diagrams illustrate these orientations.

Step 2: Change Front Lock Direction
Instructions and diagrams show how to rotate the spindle 180° ? and align the square spindle with the correct holes based on door opening direction (e.g., square spindle holes vertical for right-opening doors, horizontal for left-opening doors).

Step 3: Change Rear Lock Direction
Instructions and diagrams show how to rotate the spindle 180° ? on the rear lock.

Note: Select the appropriate screw length based on door thickness (default is for 30-60mm doors). Adjust spindle length if too long.
Step 4: Change Latch Direction
Instructions and diagrams show how to adjust the latch direction. The bevelled side of the latch should face the direction of door closing. Push the latch in and rotate 180° ?.

Installation Steps
Instructions are provided for Right Push doors, with notes to refer to "Before Installation" for Left Push doors.
- Drill holes on the door using the provided template. Install the bolt and secure it with screws.
- On the front lock, install the spindle and spring, then insert the spindle into the handle.
- Install screws and the spindle onto the front lock body.
- Route the cable through the door hole. Align the front lock's square spindle with the bolt mechanism, and attach it to the door, ensuring a flush fit.
- Install the mounting plate on the inside of the door and secure it with M6 screws.
- Install AA batteries ? and attach the rear cover. Check that all rotating parts, the mechanical key ?, and other components are securely fastened and operate smoothly.
Note: After installing the strike plate, check that the lock bolts extend and retract smoothly.

4. Setup for the Lock
Before Setup
The smart lock system supports two modes: Normal Mode and Dual-Authentication Mode.
- Normal Mode: Unlock using any registered method (PIN, Card ?, Fingerprint ?️).
- Dual-Authentication Mode: Requires two methods to be used in combination for unlocking (e.g., PIN + Card ?, PIN + Fingerprint ?️, Card ? + Fingerprint ?️).
Note: Fingerprint ?️ unlocking is optional.
Setup Notes:
- The DDL609 supports two external unlocking methods: "Fingerprint ?️ + PIN + Card ? + Mechanical Key ?" or "PIN + Card ? + Mechanical Key ?".
- Fingerprint ?️ unlocking is optional.
- In Dual-Authentication Mode, the combination methods may vary.

Default Master PIN: 12345678.Master Mode Setup
Changing Initial Master PIN
Enter Master Mode, then press [1] to change the Master PIN. The indicator will flash green ? once. Enter the new Master PIN (6-12 digits) and confirm with [#]. The system will beep and flash green ? once. Re-enter the new Master PIN and confirm with [#]. A successful setup will result in a beep and the indicator flashing green ?? twice.
Changing Master PIN
Enter Master Mode, then press [1] to change the Master PIN. The indicator will flash green ? once. Enter the new Master PIN (6-12 digits) and confirm with [#]. The system will beep and flash green ? once. Re-enter the new Master PIN and confirm with [#]. A successful setup will result in a beep and the indicator flashing green ?? twice.
Adding User PIN
Enter Master Mode, then press [2] to add a User PIN. The indicator will flash green ? once. Enter the new User PIN (6-12 digits) and confirm with [#]. The system will beep and flash green ? once. Re-enter the User PIN and confirm with [#]. A successful setup will result in a beep and the indicator flashing green ?? twice.
Deleting User PIN
Enter Master Mode, then press [3] to delete a User PIN. The indicator will flash green ? once. Enter the PIN to be deleted and confirm with [#]. A successful deletion will result in a beep and the indicator flashing green ?? twice.
Adding User Fingerprint (Optional)
Enter Master Mode, then press [5] to add a fingerprint ?️. The indicator will flash green ? once. Place your finger on the sensor until you hear a beep, then lift and repeat 8 times. A successful addition will result in a beep and the indicator flashing green ?? twice.
Note: Fingerprint ?️ function is optional.
Deleting User Fingerprint (Optional)
Enter Master Mode, then press [6] to delete a fingerprint ?️. The indicator will flash green ? once. Place your finger on the sensor until you hear a voice prompt, then lift. The indicator flashing green ?? twice confirms deletion.
Adding RFID Card
Enter Master Mode, then press [7] to add an RFID card ?. The indicator will flash green ? once. Place the card on the reader until you hear a beep. A successful addition will result in a beep and the indicator flashing green ?? twice.
Deleting RFID Card
Enter Master Mode, then press [8] to delete an RFID card ?. The indicator will flash green ? once. Place the card on the reader until you hear a voice prompt. A successful deletion will result in a beep and the indicator flashing green ?? twice.
Passage Mode Setup
Press [9] to set up Passage Mode. The indicator will flash green ? once.
- Press [1] to enable Passage Mode (allows anyone to open the door).
- Press [2] to disable Passage Mode (only registered methods can open the door).
A successful setup will result in a beep and the indicator flashing green ?? twice.
Note: To disable Passage Mode, press and hold [8] for 3 seconds. The mode will re-enable automatically when the next user unlocks the door.
Verification Mode Setup
Press [0] to set up Verification Mode. The indicator will flash green ? once.
- Press [1] for Single Authentication Mode (unlock with PIN, Card ?, or Fingerprint ?️).
- Press [2] for Dual-Authentication Mode (unlock with any two methods: PIN, Card ?, Fingerprint ?️).
A successful setup will result in a beep and the indicator flashing green ?? twice.
Note: If your model does not have fingerprint ?️ functionality, Dual-Authentication Mode will use PIN and Card ?.
5. Using the Smart Lock
Unlocking from Outside
Using RFID Card

- Place the RFID card ? on the card reader area.
- A voice prompt and green ? flashing light indicate success. Push the handle down to open the door.
Using Fingerprint

- Place your registered fingerprint ?️ on the sensor.
- A voice prompt and green ? flashing light indicate success. Push the handle down to open the door.
Note: Fingerprint ?️ unlocking is optional.
Using PIN Code

- Touch the keypad to wake it up.
- Enter your saved PIN code and press [#] to confirm.
- A voice prompt and green ? flashing light indicate success. Push the handle down to open the door.
Unlocking from Inside
Push the handle down to unlock the door.

Locking the Door
After closing the door, lift the handle upwards. The bolt will automatically extend to lock the door.

Unlocking with Mechanical Key
- Take out the mechanical key ?.
- Open the cover below the exterior lock mechanism and rotate 90° ? to reveal the keyhole.
- Insert the key ?. The key and exterior lock should be at a 90° angle. Turn the key left or right about 1.5 turns to unlock.
Note: It is not recommended to use the mechanical key ? for daily unlocking. Use it only when the battery is depleted, the PIN is forgotten, or the system malfunctions.
6. Other Functions
Factory Reset
Purpose: To erase all user data and restore the lock to its factory default settings.
How to Use: Use a pointed object to double-press the [RES] button ↩️ to perform a factory reset. All user information will be erased and restored to the manufacturer's default settings.

Mute Function
Purpose: Enables silent operation by disabling voice prompts, useful for not disturbing others.
How to Use:
- To activate Mute Mode: Wake the screen, then press and hold the [Mute/Speaker] button ? for 2 seconds. The system will announce "Mute mode activated" and the indicator will turn white ⚪.
- To deactivate Mute Mode: Wake the screen, then press and hold the [Mute/Speaker] button ? for 2 seconds. The system will announce "Voice prompt activated" and the indicator will turn white ⚪.
7. Indicator Light Meanings
Lock Status Indicator
- Blue ?: System is waking up.
- Green ?: Door unlocked successfully.
- Red ?: Door locked successfully.

Mute Indicator
White ⚪: Mute mode is active or inactive; the indicator is always white.

Anti-Peep Indicator
- Flashing 2 times (2 minutes):
- Flashing 1 time (1 minute):
The system will lock for 100 seconds after 5 failed unlock attempts within 5 minutes.
Note: The system lockout notification appears only after waking the keypad or attempting an unlock.
Note: Fingerprint ?️ unlocking is optional.
8. Troubleshooting
Low Battery Warning
Trigger: The battery voltage is detected upon system wake-up. A warning is issued when the battery is low. Replace the battery ? promptly.
A voice prompt will announce the low battery status when the door is opened. The warning automatically turns off.
External Power Charging
If the battery is depleted and the door cannot be opened from the outside, use a 5V power bank connected to the emergency power port ? on the lock. After opening the door, replace the batteries ? immediately or charge them. Avoid letting the battery completely deplete to preserve its lifespan.

Replacing Batteries
The battery compartment ? is located on the upper part of the rear lock. Remove the rear cover to replace the batteries.
