Installation Instructions
General Installation and Maintenance Matters
Do's
- Check the accessories list to verify that all parts are complete in this package.
- Do not disassemble the main body by yourself.
- Connect inlet pipes to supply valves.
- Ensure inlet pipes and supply valves have no impurities and are clean.
- After installation, check all joints for leakages.
- Do not leave the basin faucet exposed to a severely corrosive environment.
- To keep the mixer surface bright, clean the mixer regularly.
- Rinse the faucet with clean water and wipe it with a soft cotton cloth.
- Use one of the following cleaners to remove dirt: a. Mild liquid cleaner. b. Colorless glass cleaner and powder cleaner that do not cause abrasion and can be dissolved completely. c. Polish liquid that does not cause abrasion.
Don'ts
- Avoid using cleaning powder, harsh cleaning chemicals, brushes, and coarse cloth to prevent scratching and friction.
- Do not use acid cleaners to clean the faucet as they may cause surface corrosion. If exposed to harmful acid substances, rinse immediately with water.
Tools Needed
The following tools are typically required for installation: safety glasses, Allen wrench (hex key), Phillips head screwdriver, adjustable wrench, pipe wrench, Teflon tape, and sealant/glue.
Installation Steps (Model A)
Step 1: Countertop Preparation
The countertop cutout dimensions are shown in the diagram: two holes of diameter 28-30mm (1 1/8") for the faucet body, and one hole of diameter 22-25mm (7/8" - 1") for the control body. Insert the Faucet Body through the countertop. Install the Faucet Body Gasket and Mounting Nut in sequence and tighten the nut with a wrench.
Step 2: Handle and Control Body Assembly
Separate the Control water body and Handle. Place the Handle above the countertop and the Control water body below. Connect the Handle, Flange, and O-shaped abrasion-resistant ring in sequence. Attach the Handle to the Control water body and tighten the screws. Finally, use a screwdriver to tighten the Faucet Body Gasket and Nut.
Step 3: Inlet Pipe Connections
Press the button on one end of the Connect hose and connect it to the corresponding position as shown in the diagram. It is recommended to connect as shown to avoid hose kinking, which can reduce water flow efficiency.
Step 4: Hot and Cold Water Connections
Connect one end of the hot and cold hoses to the control water body respectively (Note: Hot water on the left, cold water on the right). Connect the other end of the hot and cold hoses to the corresponding angle valves controlling hot and cold water. Turn on the angle valves, open the handle to control water flow, check if water flows normally, and inspect for leaks at the connection points.
Installation Steps (Model B)
Step 1: Connect Cold Water Inlet Pipe
Connect the blue cold water inlet pipe to the right hole.
Step 2: Connect Hot Water Inlet Pipe
Connect the red hot water inlet pipe to the left hole.
Step 3: Tighten Screws
Tighten the two screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
Step 4: Connect Inlet Pipes to Angle Valves
Connect the red and blue inlet pipes to the angle valves: connect the red pipe to the (H) hot water angle valve and the blue pipe to the (C) cold water angle valve.
Drain Assembly Installation (Model A&B)
Step 1: Disassemble Drain
Begin disassembling the drain assembly by removing the bottom section first. Carefully detach all components step by step as illustrated.
Step 2: Install Drain Assembly
Insert the upper section of the drain assembly into the basin's drain hole. From underneath the basin, sequentially install the rubber gasket, washer, and fixing brass sleeve onto the threaded tailpiece. Rotate the brass sleeve clockwise until secure, but avoid overtightening to prevent damage to the basin or drain components. Finally, rotate and tighten the lower section of the drain assembly downward to secure all components and complete the installation.
Drain Operation and Testing
Press the pop-up button located at the top of the drain assembly to open or close the drain outlet.
Notice:
- Sealing Test: Turn on the faucet and allow water to run for several minutes. Carefully inspect the drain assembly and drainage pipe connections for any signs of leaks. If leaks are detected, adjust the tightness of the gasket and nuts to ensure a proper seal.
- Drainage Speed Test: Check that water flows smoothly through the drain without any blockages or signs of slow drainage. Address any issues promptly to avoid future performance problems.
- Selecting the Appropriate Drain: Different basin designs may require specific sizes and types of drains. Ensure the drain selected is compatible with your basin's size, style, and specifications before installation.
