Multiple Video Input Interfaces
The mini-max features five video inputs, compatible with various professional sources such as cameras and laptops. Inputs IN1 to IN4 can be selected from four HDMI ports or two 12G-SDI ports. Input IN5 supports NDI®, IP, and UVC. The mini-max supports direct streaming via Ethernet or functioning as a webcam over the USB-C port, allowing easy integration with third-party software like OBS for capture and broadcasting. These versatile connectivity options ensure compatibility with a wide range of devices, meeting the demands of various live streaming and broadcasting scenarios.
Input Configuration Diagram Description: A visual representation shows five input channels labeled CH 1 through CH 5. Each channel can be assigned to one of the following physical interfaces: HDMI 1, HDMI 2, HDMI 3, HDMI 4, 12G-SDI 1, 12G-SDI 2, NDI/IP, or UVC/MP (media player).
Multi-Channel Synchronous Recording
The device supports multi-channel synchronous recording, capable of handling up to 4 channels of 2K inputs. This allows for the recording of all inputs along with their pure screens, which are saved for subsequent editing. The system supports recording configurations such as 4 channels of 2K60, 2 channels of 4K30, or 1 channel of 4K60. (Note: 4K60 recording capabilities are implemented after subsequent upgrades).

Take Full Control
Integrated PTZ Camera Control: The mini-max consolidates video and camera control, supporting industry-standard VISCA or NDI protocols for direct PTZ control from the mixer. It can manage up to four separate cameras, allowing control over pan, tilt, zoom, and focus.
Precise Fingertip Control: An integrated joystick provides tactile control for each PTZ camera. Combined with front-panel toggles, these controls manage pan, tilt, zoom, and focus. The joystick and toggle can also be dynamically assigned to settings such as scale, position, and crop for enhanced usability when controlling layers.
Professional Broadcast 12G-SDI Input: Offers longer transmission distances and professional broadcast SDI camera input. 12G-SDI supports up to 60 meters based on RGBlink laboratory test data.
Pro Color Rendering and Layers
One-Click Chroma Key: Enables presenters to appear in virtual studios and environments using Chroma Key functionality. Standard key colors can be selected, and Chroma Key can be enabled directly on the mini-max without requiring an external application. Color selection and tolerances can be refined via the touchscreen for optimal results. The device supports keying green and blue colors, with additional keying color support available via the web interface.
Pro Level Audio
Capture Every Sound: With two separate insert audio ports, the mini-max handles external balanced microphone and line-level audio. Both ports accept TRS 1/4" jacks, with MIC inputs also supporting direct XLR connections. The device provides 48V phantom power on MIC inputs, eliminating the need for a separate DI and allowing direct connection of studio microphones.
Follow the Action & Always be In Sync: AFV (Audio Follows Video) can be set for any HDMI embedded audio, ensuring the audio switches automatically with the video source to PVW and PGM outputs. Audio delay can be configured for MIC inputs or camera inputs to maintain audio-video synchronization.
Monitor & Set Live: The professional audio console features dynamic button operation for convenience and visual appeal. It provides precise control for easy volume adjustment, one-key mute, and monitoring, enhancing the live-streaming experience. Bluetooth audio input is also supported.
Pro Level Video
Sophisticated Multi-Layer Presentation: Assemble visuals using multiple layers of video and graphics. The mini-max offers two full video layers plus a background image, and two graphic overlays from the media pool.
Dynamically Scalable: Each of the two assignable video layers can be scaled, positioned, and cropped, with these layers placed over the background.
Multiple Layer Sophistication: In addition to dual video sources, graphic overlays from the media pool can be added for lower-thirds and branding logos, allowing seamless switching between graphic elements.
Intuitively Interactive Operation
Select any source or preset using control panel thumbnails and iconography, making the mini-max an intuitive tool for presentation and streaming. The device includes multiple DVE transition effects for smooth transitions from preset to program, adding sophistication.
Leverage the Power of Presets: The mini-max supports saving and quick recall of 16 preset scenes. These presets can include graphics, audio settings, and even PTZ camera positions and focus parameters, enabling smooth scene transitions.
Go Remote
Web App Companion: Companion apps for laptops and mobile devices allow remote operation of the mini-max and its video connections. The device is fully integrated with RGBlink TAO Cloud for remote control of streams.
Pro Streaming
Enhanced Streaming: Utilizes advanced H.265 compression and encoding for higher performance streams, offering approximately 50% bandwidth and storage space savings compared to H.264.
Capture & Share: Connect the mini-max to a laptop to have it recognized instantly as a webcam, enabling capture for applications like OBS and other streaming software. Share presentations on platforms such as Teams, Zoom™, or any collaboration platform.
Multi-Platform Streaming: Stream to up to four multiple platforms simultaneously directly over IP without a laptop. With integrated TAO Cloud, stream to up to 32 platforms or connections concurrently.
Recording: The USB 3.0 recording output interface can connect directly to a hard drive with a maximum capacity of 2TB. It can record simultaneously while streaming, with high-definition video recording (32Mbps) lasting up to 100 hours. Audio and video can be imported and used by simply inserting a USB disk.
