User Instruction Guide

Product Overview

This document provides instructions for the Kensington Slim NanoSaver® 2.0 series of laptop locks, designed to secure your devices against theft.

Device Registration

It is recommended to register your lock for security and support purposes.

⚠️Register your lock at kensington.com/register.

Your lock's six-number serial number can be found on the lock head.

Installation and Locking

Follow these steps to secure your device.

Step 1: Secure the Cable to a Fixed Point

Loop the cable around a sturdy, immovable object (e.g., a desk leg, a secured anchor point). Feed the lock head through the cable loop and pull taut to create a secure connection.

For the Dual Head model (K65023/K65024), ensure the secondary lock head is within reach of the second device to be secured.

General Locking Mechanism:

  1. Insert the key into the lock head and turn it clockwise to the unlocked position.
  2. Press and hold the button located on the lock head.
  3. While holding the button, insert the lock head firmly into the device's security slot until it clicks into place.
  4. Release the button on the lock head.
  5. Turn the key counterclockwise to the locked position.
  6. Remove the key.
