Safety Instructions

WARNING: Basic safety precautions should always be observed when using an electrical appliance, including the following to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or injury.

  • Read this manual carefully.
  • Keep this manual for further guidance.
  • Any operations oppose to the description in this user manual may lead to injury to human or this product.
  • Only authorized technicians can disassemble the product. Users are not allowed to disassemble or repair the product.
  • Only use the original battery and power adaptor of the product for charging. Using other unmatched adaptor may cause electric shock, fire or product damage.
  • Do not touch the power cord, plug or adaptor with wet hands.
  • Do not use near curtains, wrapping materials, or any objects that may be winded in the drive wheels.
  • Do not use this product near cigarette, lighter, match or any flammables.
  • If the product needs cleaning, clean it after it is fully charged.
  • Do not over-bend or put anything heavy or sharp onto the charging cord.
  • Only use the product indoors. Do not use it outdoors.
  • This product forbids over 10KG heavy pressure from article or human
  • Do not use this product in wet or moist environment (e.g. bathroom)
  • Before using, please remove all fragile items on the ground (such as glasses, lamps, etc.) and items which can possibly entangle the side brush and block the suction port (such as cables, paper, curtains, etc.)
  • Do not place this product where it is easy to drop off (tables, stairs, etc)
  • Before charging, check whether adaptor and outlet are properly connected.
  • To avoid tripping, inform all the people in the house when the product is working.
  • When the dust bin is full, empty it before using. (once 1 week)
  • Use this product in temperature from 0-40°C.
  • Do not use this product in high-temperature environment.
  • The battery must be removed from the product before it is scrapped.
  • The battery should be disposed properly for safety after you change it.
  • Do not use the product on long plush rugs or dark color floors

WARNING:

  • Children, mentally challenged people or people lack related experience and knowledge are not allowed to use this product without special guidance.
  • Do not use the product somewhere higher than the user in case it drops off and hurts people.
  • Do not use the product in open areas without protective guard.

Product Maintenance

Dust bin and filter screen cleaning

  • After removing the dust bin, please check whether there is any foreign matter in the suction port and clean it.
  • Open it from the flap "PUSH", take out the dust bin, open the door of the dust bin, and dump the internal garbage.
  • Hold the small handle of the HEPA and pull out the HEPA.
  • Wash the dust bin and filter screen with water and pat the accumulated dust on the HEPA.
  • After cleaning, put the HEPA back into the dust bin in order.
  • Cover the door of the dust bin and put it into the host.

Notice:

  • It is recommended to clean the dust bin once a week.
  • It is recommended to wash the HEPA and filter screen once after using 15 - 30 days.
  • Before installation, please ensure that the filter screen and the HEPA are in a dry state.
  • Do not expose the filter screen and HEPA to the sun.
  • HEPA is a replaceable accessory.

Use and cleaning of side brush

1 Installation of side brush

At the time of installing, it shall be noted that the side brush should be consistent with the left (L) and right (R) of the bottom shell, and the parts are marked with "L" and "R". After one-to-one correspondence, press directly, and it will be OK after hearing the tone of clasping.

Notice: If L and R are installed incorrectly, the machine will shake when it runs.

2 Disassembly of side brush

At the time of disassembling, grasp the three brushes at the same time and pull them up.

3 Cleaning of side brush

  • Check whether the side brush is damaged or has foreign matter.
  • Clean the side brush with a cleaning tool or a piece of duster cloth.
  • If crimping or deformation occurs, remove the side brush and keep it in warm water for about 5s.
  • When the side brush is damaged and cannot be used, please replace it in time.

Sensor cleaning

Wipe the sensor with a cleaning tool or a piece of soft cloth, as the below figure show.

Wheel cleaning

Clean or wipe the position shown as below figure with a cleaning tool or a piece of soft cloth.

Pull out the universal wheel upwards and clean it up.

Charging pole piece cleaning

Clean or wipe the position shown as below figure with a cleaning tool or a piece of soft cloth.

Notice: Please install the battery before use. Remove the battery if the remote control is not used for a long time.

Product Operation

Precautions

Before the host works, please refer to the following instructions to check the cleaning area.

  1. [Image: Robot vacuum entangled with power cord and sundries] The power cord and other sundries scattered on the ground may entangle or wrap the product. Be sure to remove them before use.
  2. [Image: Robot vacuum on a carpet with fringe] Please roll up the fringe of the carpet or make the product work on the long-wool carpet.
  3. [Image: Robot vacuum stuck under low furniture] The gap of less than 8cm under the bottom of the household furniture may stick the product. If cleaning is needed, please raise the furniture.
  4. [Image: Robot vacuum near the edge of a double floor] Guardrails shall be placed at the edge of the double floor to ensure the safe operation of the product.

Battery charge

1 Charging preparation

  • Connect the adapter to the charging base.
  • Place the charging base: Place the charging base flat against the wall. Do not place objects within 1m left and right and 2m front, and there shall not be objects with strong reflective surfaces such as mirrors.

Power connection. After the charging base is powered on, the indicator light shows "red".

2 Open the host

  • Turn on the side power switch. "I" means power on and "O" means power off.
  • It is recommended not to shut down the host after it finishes working. Keep the host in the charging state so that it can work better next time.

3 Host charging

  • Put the host into the charging base, and pay attention to align with the charging pole piece or automatic recharging, as shown in figure a.
  • Or take the power adapter charging plug to directly insert it into the host charging port, as shown in figure b.
  • Do not install water tank and mop cloth when the host is being charged.
  • For the first time, please fully charge it before use.

Notice:

  • If the machine is being charged, the indicator light of the (START) key will flash.
  • If the charging is completed, the indicator light of the key START will turn green.
  • If the power is insufficient in standby mode, the indicator light of the (START) key will turn red, and the machine will broadcast the voice "please charge". The machine will not automatically look for a charging base for charging.
  • If the power is insufficient in working mode, the indicator light of the (START) key will turn green, and the machine will broadcast the voice "please charge". The machine will not automatically look for a charging base for charging.

Effective method to extend battery life

  • Please charge the machine for 5 hours before use for the first time.
  • When the power is insufficient, please charge as soon as possible.
  • When the cleaning is finished or the power is too low, the machine will automatically start looking for a charging base for charging.
  • If the machine is not used for a long time, please fully charge the battery and turn off the power switch.
  • If the machine is not used for more than 3 months, please use the charger to charge it for 5 hours before use.

Battery removal and replacement

  1. Remove the screws from the battery cover plate with a screwdriver.
  2. Remove the battery cover and take out the battery.
  3. Unplug the connector which connects the battery and the host.
  4. Put the new battery into the battery jar.
  5. Connect the battery to the connector of the host.
  6. Put the battery cover back in its place.
  7. Lock the battery cover plate.

Notice: Please do not use batteries that are not configured in this machine, otherwise the machine will be damaged.

Quick operational guideline

  • Before use, please put machine flat on the ground in the static state.
  • Turn on the power switch, short press START key of the host, making the machine enter the automatic cleaning state.
  • After cleaning, the machine will look for the charging base automatically. If charging base is found, the machine will enter the charging state; if not, the machine will enter standby state or shutdown.

Use of the host keys

  • Short press (START) key under the dormant state to enter the standby state.
  • Short press (START) key under the standby state to enter the working state.
  • Short press (START) key under the working state to enter the standby state.
  • Long press (START) key for 5s under the standby state to enter the dormant state.

Use of water tank

  • The product is provided with water tank.
  • Please do not use water tank on the carpet.
  • During cleaning, please pay attention to fill water or clearance timely, and open the tank plug during water filling.
  • Please do not use water tank on the carpet.
  • During initial use, the machine may work slowly when water comes out, but it is normal. Please wet the mop cloth before mopping.
  • When moving the machine, remove the water tank, and keep the machine horizontal.
  • Please remove the water tank when the machine is not used, and discharge all water in the tank.

1 Paste the mop cloth

  • Place the water tank upside down, sleeve one end with a tiny pocket of the mop cloth on the rectangular gear side of the tank, and paste the mop cloth.

2 Add water

  • Open the tank plug, pick up enough water with a small container, and inject water into the water storage box slowly.

Install the water tank

  • Put the machine flat, push it along with the machine bottom until it is buckled in place (don't overturn the machine or lift it to buckle tank, preventing water flowing into the machine), and start the machine for mopping.

Remove the water tank

  • Put the machine flat, press inward the buttons on both sides of the tank, and apply backward force to remove the water tank.

Remote control reservation setting

For facilitating cleaning, the product has the "Reservation" function. Time setting and reservation setting shall work with the instruction to the host through remote control. After successful reservation, the host will clean automatically every day according to the setting time.

Before setting the current time and reservation time, ensure the START key is in "yellow" and the host is in the wakeup state. If the host is not woken up, please press START key or the start/stop key (II) of remote control to wake it up.

The function is only for the non-APP configuration version, since APP configuration version can be reserved by mobile phone directly.

1 Time setting

  • Long press clock key (?) till the hour area on the remote control screen flashes.
  • The size of numbers can be set by the key, the current time can be set through switching clock and minute by the key ◄►.
  • After adjusting time, press clock key (?) to save the current setting.

2 Fixed-time reservation

  • After pressing the reservation key (?), the hour area on the remote control screen will flash.
  • The reservation time can be adjusted with the direction key (►).
  • After adjusting the reservation time, press reservation key (?) to save, and the host will clean automatically every day according to the reservation time.

3 Cancel the reservation time

  • Adjust the reservation time of remote control display to "00:00" and cancel the reservation.
  • When setting the current time and reservation time, all operations will have prompt tone to confirm. If there is no prompt tone, it indicates that the setting is invalid.
  • When changing the battery of remote control, reset the current time and reservation time.

Malfunction Routine

Malfunction routine

Error Possible cause Solution
When the machine is in the charging state, press START key or the Start/Stop key on remote control; the machine will not be separated from charging base automatically or enter the cleaning state. The power switch of the machine is not turned on. Turn on the power switch and press "START" key to start the machine.
The power supply is inserted in direct charging port. Unplug the power supply of direct charging port and turn on the power switch.
The dust bin is not installed. Install the dust bin.
The fan fails to work when installing dust bin for cleaning (the machine fails to absorb dust or the wind power is reduced). The dust bin has too much dust. Clean the dust bin.
The suction port is blocked with foreign matters or hair. Clean the suction port.
The fan is abnormal. Contact with the customer service personnel for treatment.
The machine has the action of "Backward->rotate constantly" or "rotate constantly" after startup. The collision light filter has dust or is abnormal. Wipe the dust.
The machine has the "Backward->turning->action for consecutive three times during operation. The cliff sensor has dust or is abnormal.
The machine has "Backward" turning->action every 2 - 3s when there are no obstacles. The collision rod is clamped. Shake the collision rod.
Fault of universal wheel Rotate the universal wheel by hand and check whether it is clamped, if yes, pull it out directly for cleaning.
