Instruction Manual

Note:

• Indoor use only, do not use this product outdoors.
• Residential use only, do not use this product to clean commercial / industrial wastes.
• Dry use only, do not use this product in wet or moist environment. Do not handle any part of the plug or appliance with wet hands.

Safety Instructions

Please read this user manual thoroughly before using the product. Any operations that oppose the description in this user manual may cause damage to human or product.

Power Supply

• Do not unplug by pulling on the cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
• Do not plug or unplug this product with wet hands.
• Do not charge the unit outdoors.
• Unplug when not in use for extended periods, during transportation, and before maintenance or servicing.
• This product uses 220V AC power; use only DIBEA or DIBEA recommended accessories and replacement parts.

Using Range

• Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible materials (lighter fluid, gasoline, kerosene, etc.) or use in areas where they may be present.
• Do not pick up toxic material (chlorine bleach, ammonia, drain cleaner, etc.).
• Do not use the vacuum cleaner in an enclosed space filled with vapors given off by oil-base paint, paint thinner, some moth-proofing substances, flammable dust, or other explosive or toxic vapors.
• Do not pick up hard or sharp objects such as glass, nails, screws, coins, etc.
• Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
• Do not use without the dust cup or filters in place.
• Do not pick up any liquid, including water.

UV Lamp

• This product contains a UV lamp; do not watch the bottom of the product during use to avoid UV leakage.
• Do not apply the UV lamp directly on human or animal skin.
• Do not use the UV focus on one place for continuous use.

Other

• Children, mentally or physically challenged adults should use this product under supervision.
• Do not sit on the top of this product.
• Users lacking relevant experience and knowledge should carefully use this product after fully reading this manual and fully understanding the product.
• If any questions occur before or during using this product, please do not use and contact DIBEA official customer service for help.

This product is a hand-held vacuum cleaner with ultraviolet disinfection function. It uses advanced intelligent technology to automatically control the ON/OFF of the UV lamp. It is ingenious in design, strong in suction, convenient in operation, safe and reliable.

Preparation before Using

• To avoid danger of suffocation, keep away from babies and children.
• Do not plug in your vacuum until you are familiar with all instructions and operating procedures.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, turn the power switch OFF and disconnect the plug from the electrical outlet before performing maintenance or troubleshooting checks.

Operation

ON/OFF Button

1. Connect the power cord to the socket, press the ON/OFF button, and the vacuum cleaner will start to work.
2. Make sure that the distance between the bottom of the machine and the cleaning target is less than 3cm; otherwise, the ultraviolet lamp of the vacuum cleaner will stop working.
3. Press the button again to stop the machine.

Note: When the UV light indicators turn on, the UV light is working properly.

Take Off the Handle from the Machine

1. Turn OFF and unplug the machine.
2. Long press the handle lock to take off the handle.

Take Off the Dust Collector from the Handle

1. Hold the handle still with one hand.
2. Turn the dust cup clockwise with the other hand, align the UNLOCK icon on the dust cup with the middle of the handle, then gently pull the dust cup off.

Filter Removal and Installation

1. Take out the filters: Move along the vertical direction of the dust collector.

Note: Put in the cyclonic filter first, then the cotton filter & HEPA filter. Always keep the air outlet downward to ensure that the dust in the dust collector does not scatter.

Installing of Rotating brush and the Brush Holder

1. The rotating brush and the brush holder are pre-assembled when you receive this product.
2. Use a coin to rotate 90 degrees along the lock/unlock mark marked at both sides of the brush and take out the holder.

Cleaning and Maintenance

STORAGE

• Unplug when not in use for extended periods and before maintenance or servicing.
• Put the product in a dry indoor place; do not put it outdoors or in any places that are not dry.

CLEANING

• Turn OFF the product.
• Take out the dust collector, clean the dust collecting cup and filter with cold tap water; leave them COMPLETELY DRY.
• Clean the machine body with a dry cotton cloth; do NOT wash the machine body.

Cleaning the Dust Collector

1. First, the HEPA filter is encased by paper towel; gently pat small dust out (as figure 1).
2. Press the filter lock button and take out the filter assembly, cleaning the dust tank (as figure 2).
3. Put the dust tank back to the main body and close the cover.

Note: The dust tank needs to be completely dry after cleaning before installation.

Note: Wash the filter with cold water at least once every month. Ensure the filter is completely dry before refitting.

Cleaning host outlet

Check the air outlet and air inlet and remove the obstacles before installing the handle back to the machine body.

Note: Do not remove the filter on the air outlet. You can never put it back!

Troubleshooting

WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock, turn OFF the ON/OFF button and unplug from the electrical outlet before performing maintenance or troubleshooting checks.

1 Year Limited Warranty

If a claim is received within one year of receipt and the product is found to have failed under the warranty, we shall, at our option:

1. Repair the product,
2. Exchange the product with a product that is new or which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product.

Please note: Proof (both the original and any subsequent) delivery/purchase should be provided before any work can be carried out on your DIBEA appliance. Without this proof, any work carried out will be chargeable; keep your receipt or delivery note.

Any parts which are replaced by DIBEA will become the property of DIBEA. The repair or replacement of your DIBEA appliance under guarantee will not extend the period of guarantee.

This warranty applies to products used for personal, and not commercial or rental, service. This warranty does not apply to fans or routine maintenance components such as filters, belts, or brushes, but if the routine maintenance components are damaged within one year, you can contact DIBEA for related accessories; we will offer you with discounts.

DIBEA does not guarantee the repair or replacement of a product where a defect is the result of:

• (a) Accidental damage, faults caused by negligent use or care, misuse, neglect, carelessness or operation or handling of the appliance which is not in accordance with this User Manual.
• (b) Use of the appliance for anything other than normal domestic household purposes.
• (c) Use of parts not assembled or installed in accordance with the instructions of DIBEA.
• (d) Use of parts and accessories which are not genuine DIBEA components.
• (e) Faulty installation (except where installed by DIBEA).
• (f) Repairs or alterations carried out by parties other than DIBEA or its authorized agents.
• (g) The product is NOT used in the same country in which it was sold.
