Introduction

The Electric Plumber is a new and innovative tool designed to help you remove stubborn clogs from your pipes and drains without the use of harmful corrosive chemicals. It emits a burst of compressed air to remove clogs and odors in seconds.

Identification of Parts

The Electric Plumber device consists of the following parts:

A - Pressure Gauge: Displays the current air pressure.
B - Pressure Release Trigger: Deploys a burst of compressed air.
C - Handle: For gripping and operating the device.
D - Compressor On/Off Switch: Controls the compressor.
E - Power Connection: Port for connecting the AC adapter.
F - Air nozzle: Directs the compressed air.
G - Drain Head: Standard head for sinks.
H - Wash Drain/Floor Drain Head: For wash basins, shower stalls, tubs, and floor drains.
I - Inflatable Toilet Head: A sealable head for toilets.
J - AC Adapter: Powers the device from an AC outlet.
K - Toilet Head Inflator Pump: Used to inflate the Inflatable Toilet Head for a seal.

How to Operate

Attach the appropriate head: Drain Head for sinks, Wash Drain/Floor Drain Head for basins/showers/tubs/floor drains, or Inflatable Toilet Head for toilets.
Consult the Pressure Guide to determine the correct air pressure for your application.
Connect the AC Adapter to the Power Connection on the device.
Plug the AC Adapter into an AC outlet.
Turn on the Compressor On/Off Switch. Monitor the air pressure on the Pressure Gauge. Do not run the compressor for more than 30 seconds.
When the correct pressure is reached, turn the compressor OFF and disconnect the power cable. Tip: For pipe protection, start with minimum recommended pressure and increase if needed.
Hold the Electric Plumber over the drain at a 90° angle, pressing firmly to create a seal and prevent splashing. If dealing with connected sinks, block the second drain. For toilets, attach the Inflatable Toilet Head and squeeze the hand pump until a tight seal is formed inside the toilet.
Press the Pressure Release Trigger to release a burst of compressed air to clear the clog or odor.
Repeat steps 5-8 if necessary. Do not exceed maximum recommended pressure. To prevent overheating, do not use the device more than 6 times consecutively.

Pressure Guide

Recommended air pressure for different drain types:

Toilet: 50-100 Psi
Wash basin: 30-60 Psi
Floor drain: 40-90 Psi
Dish basin: 5-15 Psi

Safety Warnings

Use this device only for its intended purpose.
DO NOT run the air compressor for more than 30 seconds.
DO NOT use this device more than 6 times in a row. Allow it to cool down before resuming operation.
To prevent electric shock, do not plug this device in if your hands are wet.
DO NOT operate this device if the cord appears worn or frayed. Contact Sharper Image Customer Service immediately.
Disconnect this device from the AC outlet when not in use.
NEVER point or shoot this device at yourself or other people, as serious injury can occur.
