Using Your G435 Gaming Headset on Nintendo Switch
The Nintendo Switch allows pairing of only one Bluetooth audio device at a time and does not support Bluetooth microphones. The Nintendo Switch Online App can be used for select games to communicate with other players.
Logitech G435 Gaming Headset Connectivity with Nintendo Switch
The G435 headset was developed before Nintendo released native Bluetooth functionality. Early versions could not connect to the Nintendo Switch via Bluetooth. This issue has been resolved for future production. If you encounter connection problems with your G435 on Nintendo Switch, updating the firmware is recommended. The G435 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Headset Update Tool can be downloaded for this purpose.
To update the firmware:
- Ensure your G435 headset is connected to its receiver and powered on.
- Verify the battery level is at least 30%. Refer to specific instructions for checking battery level if needed.
- Run the downloaded .exe file.

Cleaning Your Logitech G435 Headset
Logitech provides recommendations for cleaning the G435 headset.
Before you clean:
- Do not wash ear pads in a washing machine.
- Do not dry ear pads in a tumble dryer.
- Avoid applying cleaning liquids directly to earpads and headband.
- Do not use bleach, acetone, nail polish remover, strong solvents, or abrasives, as these may affect the polyester fabric surface and cause discoloration.
- When using cleaning sprays, spray onto a cloth first, then wipe the product; do not spray the product directly.
Wiping and cleaning your G435:
- To clean, use regular tap water to lightly moisten a clean, soft, lint-free cloth. Gently wipe down the headband and ear pads.
- For tougher stains, use a small amount of mild soap on a lightly moistened, clean, soft cloth. Gently rub the stained areas and rinse thoroughly with the same moistened cloth until all soap traces are gone.
- Fragrance-free disinfecting wipes or fragrance-free anti-bacterial wet wipes can also be used.
- Allow the headset to dry at room temperature.
Logitech encourages users to sanitize their products in accordance with guidelines from the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control.
