Important Safety Instructions
Please read and follow all safety instructions carefully before using your Brother mobile printer.
General Safety Precautions
- Read all instructions before operating the equipment.
- Do not use this product near water or expose it to moisture.
- Clean only with a dry cloth.
- Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
- Do not install or operate near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus that produce heat.
- Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding-type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
- Use only the AC adapter supplied with the product.
- Do not overload a wall outlet or extension cord.
- Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
- Do not use the product if the power cord or plug is damaged, or if the outlet is loose.
- Do not use the product outdoors.
- Do not use the product during an electrical storm.
- Keep the product away from children.
- Do not expose the product to extreme temperatures (e.g., below 5°C/41°F or above 40°C/104°F).
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the product yourself.
- Dispose of the product and its accessories according to local regulations.
Battery Safety
The printer uses a rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack.
- Use only the supplied rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack (e.g., Brother BA-E001).
- Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
- Do not charge the battery in temperatures outside the range of 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F).
- Do not use the battery if it is damaged, leaking, or emits an unusual odor.
- Do not expose the battery to heat or fire.
- Do not immerse the battery in water.
- Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations. Do not incinerate.
- If the battery leaks and the electrolyte comes into contact with your skin, wash it off immediately with plenty of water. If it gets into your eyes, rinse them thoroughly with water and seek medical attention.
AC Adapter Safety
The printer uses a specific AC adapter (e.g., Brother PA-AC-100W).
- Use only the AC adapter supplied with the printer.
- Do not use the AC adapter if the power cord or plug is damaged.
- Do not expose the AC adapter to water or moisture.
- Do not overload the wall outlet.
- Unplug the AC adapter during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
Belt Clip Safety
The optional belt clip allows for portable use.
- Ensure the belt clip is securely attached to the printer and your belt.
- Do not use the belt clip if it is damaged.
- Exercise caution when moving to avoid snagging the belt clip on objects.
Disposal Information
This product contains electronic components and a battery. Dispose of the product and its battery in accordance with local environmental regulations. Do not dispose of in household waste. Do not incinerate.
Important Notice for Customers in the UK
This product is supplied with a BS 1363 plug. If you need to replace the fuse, use only fuses that are approved to BS 1362 and rated at the correct amperage. Ensure the plug is correctly wired. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.

This product is designed to operate with the supplied AC adapter. Ensure the adapter is used with a properly grounded outlet.
