Wiring
The thermostat supports both Two Pipe Systems and Four Pipe Systems, operating on AC110-240V 50~60Hz. Wiring diagrams illustrate connections for power (N, L), valve (Open, Close), and fan (High, Med, Low).
Two Pipe System Wiring: Features terminals for power (N, L), valve control (Open, Close), and fan speed control (High, Med, Low). A common terminal is also present.
Four Pipe System Wiring: Includes separate valve controls for heating (Open, Close) and cooling (Open, Close), along with fan speed control (High, Med, Low) and power (N, L). A common terminal is also present.
Installing Your Thermostat
The thermostat is suitable for installation within a standard 86mm pattress box or a European 60mm round pattress box.
- Step 1: Keep power off. Ensure the main power supply to the area where the thermostat will be installed is turned off.
- Step 2: Remove the mounting Plate. Gently detach the mounting plate from the thermostat body.
- Step 3: Connect power supply, load and external (floor) sensor. Wire the power supply, load, and any external sensor (if used) to the appropriate terminals on the mounting plate. Refer to the "Wiring your thermostat" section for detailed diagrams.
- Step 4: Fix the mounting plate. Secure the mounting plate to the wall box using screws.
- Step 5: Fasten body of thermostat. Align the thermostat body with the mounting plate and fasten it through the groove.
- Step 6: Installation complete. The thermostat should now be securely installed on the wall.
RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK!
Always disconnect or isolate the power supply prior to making any electrical connections. Contact with high voltage components can cause electrical shock, severe injury, or death.
Operation
Setting the Power
Press the power button (⏻) to turn the thermostat on or off.
Selecting Manual and Programmable Mode
Press and hold the 'M' button; the programmable icon (⏣) will flash. Press 'M' again; the manual icon (✋) will flash. Press the '▲' button to select manual mode, or the '✔' button to select weekly programmable mode.
Setting the Temperature
a. In programmable mode, the set temperature, time, and timing on/off cannot be adjusted directly. To change these, switch to manual mode or programmable setting.
b. In manual mode, press '▲' or '▼' to set the temperature. The manual icon (✋) will display in the left corner of the screen.
Setting Wi-Fi
Press and hold '▲' and '▼' simultaneously for 8 seconds to begin Wi-Fi setting. The Wi-Fi icon (?) will flash on the screen. Press and hold '▲' and '▼' again for 8 seconds to return to factory settings.
Setting the Fan
Press the fan speed button (?) to select the fan speed: AUTO, HIGH, MED, or LOW.
Selecting the System Mode
Press the 'M' button to change the system mode between HEATING (♨️), COOLING (❄️), and VENTILATION (?️). In VENTILATION mode, the valve is off but the fan runs.
Setting the Sleeping (Customized Function)
Press and hold 'M' to set the sleeping function; the sleeping icon (?) will flash. Press '▲' to confirm.
When sleeping is selected, the set temperature will decrease or increase by 1°C every 30 minutes. After 8 hours, the sleeping function will cancel automatically.
For example, in cooling mode, if the setpoint is 26°C:
- 30 mins later: setpoint becomes 25°C
- 1 hour later: setpoint becomes 24°C
- 1.5 hours later: setpoint becomes 23°C
- 2 hours later: setpoint becomes 22°C
Then 22°C will be maintained for another 6 hours. A total change of 4°C is possible. Press and hold 'M' to set sleeping, the sleeping icon (?) will flash. Press '▼' to cancel.
Setting the Clock
Press and hold 'M'; the clock icon (⏰) will flash. Press 'M' again; the minutes will flash. Press 'M' to set minutes, then hours, then week. The time will save automatically after several seconds.
Setting Lock
Press '?' and '▲' simultaneously to lock/unlock the screen. Refer to item 3 of setting functions and options to select the locking mode.
Adjusting the Weekly Programmable
Press and hold 'M'; the programmable icon (⏣) will flash. Press 'M' again; the minutes will flash. Press 'M' to set minutes, then hours, then week. Press 'M' to enter programmable adjustment. Then press 'M' to change items. Press '▲' or '▼' to set values.
The order of adjustment is: Minute adjusting → Hour adjusting → Week adjusting → Minute timing-on → Hour timing-on → Minute timing-off → Hour timing-off → Temperature adjusting. The "12345", "67" mode is a "5+2" programmable mode, where each mode has two time zones and a temperature setting.

While the thermostat is powered off, press and hold 'M' and '?' simultaneously for 5 seconds to access system functions. Then press 'M' to change different items. Press '▲' or '▼' to set values. All settings will automatically confirm when power is turned on.

Wi-Fi Connection
Before using your Wi-Fi thermostat for the first time, you must configure its Wi-Fi signal and settings through your smartphone or tablet. This enables communication between your connected devices.
Step 1: Download Your APP
For ANDROID devices, search for "BECA ENERGY" in Google Play and download. Alternatively, scan the relevant QR code. For iOS devices, search for "BECA ENERGY" in the Apple App Store and download. Alternatively, scan the relevant QR code.
Step 2: Connect Your Wi-Fi Signal
On Your Thermostat:
With the thermostat powered on, press and hold the '▲' and '▼' arrows simultaneously for eight (8) seconds. The Wi-Fi icon (?) will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
Then, on Your Smartphone/Tablet:
- Open the Wi-Fi networks settings (usually found in "Settings") on your device.
- Connect to the SSID "USR-WIFI232-S" signal being broadcast by your thermostat.
- Open the BECA ENERGY App. You will be taken to the first settings page, which is used to select your server address. Choose the default server directly. If your thermostat is customized, contact BECA for server configuration settings.
- Go to the home page of the app. Press the '+' icon within the small house representation to add your room.
- Then proceed to the page for room name creation, equipment selection, network searching, and password entry.
- Press "Done" to finish the setting. When pressing "Done", allow approximately 5-60 seconds for ID searching and thermostat matching with your phone. This network searching time is normal.
- Enter your room in the app and begin operation.
Note 1: You can add up to 12 rooms in total. If you need to increase this quantity, contact BECA.
Note 2: The app's round room display will show the set temperature, current room temperature, fan speed, room's name, Wi-Fi signal strength, and power button. Orange indicates heating mode, blue indicates cooling mode, and green indicates ventilation mode.
Note 2 (continued): To delete a room, press and hold the room icon for 3 seconds on the app page, then press the trash can icon.
Note 3: One thermostat (ID) can be controlled by multiple phones. However, different phones cannot operate the thermostat simultaneously.
App Operation Icons:
- Press the power icon (⏻) to turn off the thermostat.
- Press the power icon (⏻) to turn on the thermostat.
- Press the mode icon (❄️/♨️/?️) to change between cooling, heating, and ventilation modes. The selected mode icon will display on the screen.
- Press the fan speed icon (?) to select the fan speed: AUTO, HIGH, MED, and LOW. The selected fan speed icon (e.g., three wavy lines for high speed) will display on the screen.
- Press the unlock icon (?) to unlock the screen.
- Press the lock icon (?) to lock the screen.
- Press the sensor icon (?️) to select internal or external sensor (customized function).
- Press the camera icon (?) to choose or take a photo for your room.
- Press the economy mode icon (?) to enter economy mode. In this mode, the heating set temperature will become 26°C and cooling set temperature will become 20°C. These values cannot be changed in this mode.
- Press the manual mode icon (✋) to switch to manual mode.
- Press the programmable mode icon (⏣) to switch to programmable mode.
- Press the schedule icon (?) to set the temperature and time of schedule.
- Slide the temperature slider (?️) to set the temperature. This also indicates that the Wi-Fi signal is communicating successfully.
- A grey Wi-Fi icon indicates non-connection or communication failure. A blue Wi-Fi icon means the thermostat has communicated successfully. A green power button indicates power is on, and a grey power button indicates power is off.
The app also allows changing the server address by accessing the menu in the top right corner of the home page.
