  1. Hold the Multifunction Button for approximately 3 seconds until the LED flashes RED-BLUE-RED-BLUE repeatedly (pairing mode).
  2. For PRYMEBLU adapters: Put the adapter into pairing mode per its manual.
  3. For Icom or Kenwood radios: Follow manufacturer instructions to scan for devices and select the PRYMEBLU microphone.
  4. Devices will sync. The LED will show one blue flash every few seconds upon successful pairing.
  5. If the adapter does not detect the microphone within 60 seconds, it will exit pairing mode.
  6. Once paired, the 2-way radio can be operated via the Speaker Mic.

Reconnecting a Previously Paired Device

Paired devices will attempt to re-establish their link when powered on and within range. This can take 10-60 seconds.

Pairing with a Cellphone

Ensure the Speaker Microphone and other BT devices are powered off before starting.

  1. Hold the Multifunction Button for approximately 3 seconds until the LED flashes RED-BLUE-RED-BLUE repeatedly (pairing mode).
  2. Activate Bluetooth on your phone and scan for new devices.
  3. Select the PRYMEBLU Speaker Microphone from the list. Enter "0000" if prompted for a passcode.
  4. Devices will sync. The LED will revert to a single blue flash every few seconds.
  5. Once paired, you can make and receive calls using the Speaker Microphone.

Using the PRYMEBLU Speaker Microphone

After pairing with an adapter or cellphone:

  • Received signals play through the front speaker or optional earphone. Volume is adjustable.
  • The microphone picks up your voice for transmitting or phone calls.
  • Push-to-Talk (PTT) can be activated via the PTT button on the mic, the adapter's talk button, a wired PTT, or an optional PRYMEBLU Wireless BT PTT (BT-PTT2).
  • To answer/hang up calls, press the Phone Button or use the phone interface.
  • Press and hold the Phone Button for 3 seconds to activate voice dialing (when not connected to a 2-way radio).

Note: When on a phone call, 2-way radio signals are not heard. Pressing the PTT button during a phone call will transmit on the radio but will not send audio from the microphone.
